  • Amy and Zoya are amazing! Zoya's Atelier was the very first bridal store I went to when I began my search for my wedding dress (I initially found out about them at a wedding expo.) My experience with them has been nothing but the best! After my first initial appointment with them, it was hard not to compare every other bridal store to their excellence (and no store came close to Zoya's). They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, polite, and friendly. They made the wedding gown process enjoyable and easy. Practically every appointment I had with them was always one on one, where you were the only customer in the store. This really allows them to spend the quality time with you so many others bridal stores lack. They take the time to listen to you and help you find something that will look amazing. They offer guidance and style advice with wedding gowns, but are never pushy. I bought the beautiful Murphy wedding gown by Sottero and Midgley, as well as my veil from Zoya's. All of m... Read more

  • I'm genuinely sorry I can't give Zoya and Amy MORE than 5 stars, because they certainly deserve them! I ordered a fun "custom" tea length dress from a "specialty" UK boutique who were happy to take my money, but then delivered my dress 2.5 weeks before my destination wedding, with the dress measurements so far off that I couldn't even get it on (as in, more than 3" off from the measurements as ordered) . There were other issues as well, including an uneven hem & a missing belt, but the dressmakers refused to do anything to help me, & I couldn't afford a new dress (not to mention the design of my dress was quite unusual, a fact which makes what Zoya pulled off even more impressive!). Despite the INCREDIBLY short timeframe, Zoya was willing to contact a few of her other brides, who were gracious enough to move their fittings around to give her time to work her magic on my dress! Despite my tears, fears, & exhaustion with the whole affair, Zoya and Amy were gracious & kind, exuding co... Read more

  • I had an amazing experience Zoya's Atelier. I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early, sweating, and nervous. I am a 40 year old bride, it is my second wedding, and did I say that I am NOT in my 20's?? I was greeted warmly at the door by Amy, who lead me into her gorgeous shop. I was blown away by the designers and dresses that surrounded me. My best friend and I picked out dresses (Amy and Zoya picked out a few dresses for me to try on as well). The 3rd dress I tried on made me cry. I was so overwhelmed by my emotions as I was in shock that they could make me feel so beautiful - I bought my dress that day! I appreciate Amy and Zoya for working with brides of all ages, size, and shapes. Amy told me, "We work with real women, and real bodies" when I expressed my concern about not being the kind of bride that just walked off a magazine cover. I am living proof that they are women of their word!! Zoya and Amy made me feel supported and proud be exactly who I am/was on my wedding d... Read more

  • Zoya is a miracle worker! I bought my wedding dress with the promise that the neckline on my dress could be changed. The salesperson didn’t make the changes seems so major at the time. Apparently the bead work and netting was very difficult because the lady that she recommended couldn’t do it. I spent the next months scouring Virginia and Maryland for someone that could do the work. I literally went to dozens of places. I lost hope and I was running out of time so I decided to buy a new dress. As I started shopping for a new dress another shopkeeper recommended Zoya’s. I walked in a explained my situation. Zoya was so attentive and caring she told me to bring in the dress. She said “if it can be done I can do it”. She radiates confidence and competency! She broke down exactly what needed to happen. She cut the dress and got to work! No one would even come close to trying to change my dress because it was too intricate. Zoya is an amazing dress designer! My dress came out bett... Read more

  • I didn't discover Zoya's until after I had already bought my dress. I saw them at a bridal show and decided to go there for my veil and shoes. I am so glad I did. I found the most beautiful, unique veil that I don't think I could have found anywhere else. After working with Amy I decided to bring my dress there as well for alterations. Zoya did a fantastic job. I really valued both of their opinions as I was putting the finishing touches on my dress. They were both a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Amy and Zoya!

  • Zoya's Atelier is the perfect shop to find not only a wedding gown, but also bridesmaid and mother of the bride/groom dresses! I went in recently looking for a dress to wear as a guest, and I was blown away by the amazing selection. Both Zoya and Amy were extremely helpful and accommodating when it came to helping me choose a dress. I told them exactly what I was looking for, and we were able to tailor an existing dress to be the one of my dreams! I am so thrilled to have found this shop and absolutely plan on coming back to choose dresses for the next few weddings I'll be attending this year. They cover everything from spanx and bras to exquisite bags and shoes - every detail is handled efficiently. Love them!

  • When my daughter got married I found the "almost" perfect Mother of the Bride dress. The only thing missing was sleeves. I looked everywhere for a jacket to compliment the dress. I didn't find anything even close. I showed the dress to Zoya and she said, " No worries I make something special for you". And she did! She found the perfect fabric and designed and sewed the most beautiful jacket. A Purple and Lilac metallic embroidered jacket with fitted sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. It elevated the dress to a whole new level. Zoya is AMAZING!

  • Zoya helped make my wedding dreams a reality! I bought a dress that I wanted to make changes to. I had others tell me that it wasn't a good idea or that it might not work. Zoya didn't hesistate and was confident that she could make it happen. She was able to change the complete neckline of my wedding gown as well as lower the back and add trim to the bottom. It was just like I had envisioned! While meeting with Zoya for dress fittings I explained to her how I wanted my veil to look. I knew how I wanted it to look but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Zoya once again made my vision a reality and was able to make a custom veil just like I wanted. I will always remember this positive experience during such a special time in my life.

  • I discovered Zoya’s when I was in the middle of my search for THE DRESS. No one seemed to have the selection of dresses in the style I was looking for. I walked in with a vision in my head that I had literally searched for from coast to coast. When I walked in, I saw my vision, hanging in all its glamorous, classic beauty. Even more than the dress, Zoya’s made the dress just the first step in a full-service experience. They helped refine the vision that started with the dress and ended up with my bridal look--From which jewelry, tailored alterations, and to how to set the veil in my hair. I even got my rehearsal dinner dress there which was so unique-I got tons of compliments! I knew I could trust Amy and Zoya’s opinion and that they listened to what suited me, and what was important to me. And boy did the final result take my husband's breath away! • I did a little price shopping in the Arlington/D.C. area for wedding dress alterations and was surprised to find that Zoya's- a cute little boutique run by a very stylish French lady- was cheaper than some fairly questionable places I tried. I didn't need to have much done (hemmed, bust taken in a bit, and a very simple bustle put in) and it still wasn't cheap (my total bill was $600+) but Zoya was very fast and did a nice job. I felt very confident leaving my dress with her and was quite pleased when I picked it up a month later.

  • I had purchased my wedding dress while on vacation with my family, but didn't want to have to travel for alterations. I found Zoya's on Wedding Wire and it was the perfect match! Both Zoya and her daughter are a joy to work with and made me feel comfortable with each visit, although a dress fitting isn't really my idea of a good time. She made my dress fit like a glove even though it wasn't bought in house and even fulfilled a last minute request the WEEK of my wedding. The shop is beautiful and easily accessible in the heart of fall's church. Although alterations are a bit pricey, I feel like the convenience and assurance of knowing it would be done perfectly made it worth it.
