  • Choosing to work with Debbie made the last few weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding much less stressful. As a couple living in western Illinois and getting married in Michigan, having a wedding coordinator was such a help. Debbie thought of questions that didn't even occur to us to ask. She recommended a florist and tent rental place to us. She helped keep track of small details that make a huge difference in a wedding, such as making sure appropriate accommodations for a parent in a wheelchair were in place. We made several last minute detail changes and they all went smoothly due to Debbie's organization and positive outlook. Honestly, Debbie's friendly personality and genuine interest in us and our wedding is what made working with her so awesome!

  • Working with Debbie at Your Perfect Event was an absolute dream. We were planning our wedding in Michigan, all the way from California. Debbie was the only vendor that I used who was able to work around the time difference and the whole planning process was seamless. We used Debbie for Day of Planning, as well as having her assist us with the rehearsal the night before. We had several phone calls in the months leading up to the event. It was so helpful that she always had a list of things that I needed to accomplish before our next call. I had so many other things going on it was difficult to stay on task. Debbie took the time to meet with me and my family during one trip to Michigan and was able to meet with me again when I returned three weeks before.   • Kimberly and her team did an absolutely amazing job when it came to our wedding. She was extremely flexible, professional, and made the wedding planning process stress-free! She helped us with everything, from the small things to the most nerve-wracking aspects, she had a hand in making the process very streamlined.   • From the moment you meet Debbie, you can tell that she is a seasoned pro. From the first meeting, she had great ideas and resources and was able to offer answers to any questions that I had. Debbie was extremely flexible, she helped us stay within our budget, which was VERY important to us. She is knowledgeable of 'the business' and has great relationships with vendors and was able to recommend some wonderful people (all of whom we were equally happy with). The day of the wedding, Debbie also brought her team with her; we had six people working diligently to ensure that we had the wedding of our dreams, and their efforts went above and beyond all of our expectations. Set up was complete and perfect before our guests arrived and I didn't have to worry about tearing anything down at the end of the evening.   • Mike and Debbie were wonderful to work with. My husband and I have really busy schedules and were hardly in the same state at the same in the six months leading up to the wedding. Debbie was very flexible in finding times to meet and always returned calls texts and emails very quickly. Mike even made us a surprise wedding video that was very well put together and was a great memento of our day

  • YPE was a true pleasure to work with! I began planning my wedding with my mom and it became so difficult. When we met Debbie I was very impressed with all she offered. She was always available. I was impressed with the diverse level of packages. I had a vision and some of the ground work laid out . YPE offered a perfect package for me. Debbie took my loose ends and finessed them. She created an organized time line for me to follow, provided vendors, discounts and suggestions to stay within my budget. Her suggestions and subtlies took my wedding to the next level. It was perfect! The day of my wedding and reception I could not have asked for a better team. I highly suggest the videography package. Mike did an excellent job and captured tiny precious moments that would have gone forgotten. Thank you again YPE for make my wedding dreams come true!

  • Debbie was a fantastic wedding planner. Our wedding was beautiful, unique, and everything we could have hoped for. I wanted to have our wedding in Michigan, but my husband and I both lived in California. For planning a remote wedding, Debbie was invaluable. She made us both feel like we were in charge of all the decisions, but she took care of the details. There were times where we _really_ concerned with details, like having a specially made cake topper of two robots holding hands, and times where we were didn't want to know, like when I wanted white flowers and didn't want to know any other details until the day of the wedding. Debbie handled both general and detailed directions without missing a beat. She kept us on schedule (both during planning and the day of the wedding) and on budget. She worked with both our hand-chosen family photographer and had great connections with her own vendors. Debbie is amazing. I'd recommend her to anyone planning an event.

  • My fiancé and I hired Your Perfect Event to do day-of-wedding coordination. We worked with Debbie and her team for six months before our wedding. We had a total of three planning meetings, and one final meeting the week of the wedding to go over all the final details. Debbie even came to my house the week before the wedding to help me organize all the items that were going on the guest tables, head table, gift table, and photo table, as we had many family vintage pieces and pictures that had to be specially wrapped and packaged. At our wedding, there was a team of four people setting up and making sure that everything was on schedule. When I arrived at the reception, I was simply amazed at how beautiful everything looked…just like I had imagined. Debbie and her team went above and beyond what we paid for, working many more than the contracted eight hours on the day of our wedding.   • Contracting with Your Perfect Event to oversee the details on the day of our daughter’s wedding was the best gift we could have given ourselves!!!! From our very first meeting with Debbie and Lynn we knew that we had the good fortune of connecting with a team we could trust. In addition to meeting with us several times they also showed up at our food tasting. That gave them the opportunity to meet with the venue coordinator as well as survey the site. They never missed an item and by the time of the wedding there was not one thing that we needed to be concerned about.   • Debbie and Lynn went above and beyond to make sure that the most important day of my life was flawless. We hired them for “day of coordinating,” but the services they provided went beyond the actual wedding day. We had 3 meetings with them prior to the wedding day (in addition to many calls/texts/emails), and at each meeting Debbie had a list of to-dos for me and my mom, which helped to keep us on track and complete the wedding prep far in advance. I thought I was organized… but they are the queens of organization! This helped me to enjoy the week before the wedding, as well as the actual wedding day. Your Perfect Event also enlarged and framed our seating chart, for a minimal charge. It turned out great, and my husband and I are going to hang it on a wall in our new house as a keepsake. I would recommend YPE to any bride who wants to enjoy her wedding day, with confidence that every detail will be taken care of. As my mom says, this is the best money we spent on the wedding!

  • I had the pleasure of working with Debbie and the wonderful staff from YPE for nine months leading up to my wedding. Because of all the hard work and planning with the YPE staff, my wedding day was a dream come true. I can honestly say that I could not have done it without their help and guidance.
