Youngberg Hill is an absolutely BREATHTAKING venue. My fiance (at the time) and I had several tours lined up for possible wedding locations. YH was our first, and the second we stepped out of the car we KNEW this was where we were getting married. Nicolette met us to tour the property and talk through logistics of having our wedding at this venue. She was friendly and professional, and no BS - which i appreciated. So many places look to nickel and dime you, this was not one of them. They were upfront and clear about pricing and what was/was not included. the property is just breathtaking... 360 views of vineyards and beautiful scenery of wine country. We had our ceremony outside overlooking the view, and the reception was in a building with 3 full sides of bay-doors so it was a very open reception. You could see the view at all times. The building was also a nice backup plan in case you get stuck with any rain. I could not imagine being married anywhere else.

beautiful Location-- wish the party could have been a little longer (10pm music must end)-- but that was part of the location site-- Quite Peaceful Beautiful Vineyard :) Couldn't ask for a better view.

I loved every part of my wedding and can't thank them enough! They were wonderful to work with and they helped at every step. The staff was amazing thru the whole process. Offered more then we were contracted for and made everyone feel welcomed. I can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries with them in the future. A wonderful place for wine tasting too.

We loved this venue. It was gorgeous and allowed us to rent the entire inn for our wedding party which was something we had a hard time finding elsewhere. The venue speaks for itself and doesn't require a lot of decorations. The fact that they provide the tent, table and chairs was a huge relief and they are definitely set up for events with the outdoor bar, catering kitchen and nice outdoor bathrooms!

We had our wedding there at the end of April. It was the elopement package but a fairly large group when all was said and done. Very accommodating to our group and every request we had. They paired us with an excellent Judge who gave a lovely ceremony. The weather didn't agree with us but even though it rained they were able to host a very nice wedding.

Youngberg is the most wonderful place for a wedding. We were so happy with our choice of venue we would not do anything different. Wayne and Nicolette and their staff were so accommodating right down to greeting our guests as they arrived to saying goodbye at the end. Willabys Catering did the catering, SHE Designs for the floral, Myriad Cakes for cake, DJ by NW Mobile DJ and photography was ADB Photographix WHAT A DREAM TEAM! This truly was a flawless beautiful event.

We just had our wedding at Youngberg Hill in mid-August. Nicolette and Wayne are impeccable hosts and very easy to work with. Their organization and welcoming attitudes contributed to a smooth, joyful event. Nicolette responded in very timely and helpful ways throughout the planning process. The view from Youngberg is breath taking. Many of our guests thanked us for showing them such a beautiful spot, particularly one with such good wine. Our stay at the inn was the perfect way to top off an amazing wedding. The rooms are very comfortable with each room providing a different spectacular view of the vineyards and surrounding area. Breakfast the next morning was quite a treat! Our vegetarian and child-friendly restrictions were seamlessly accommodated. Every little detail is thought of at Youngberg Hill. We had a difficult time finding the words to express our gratitude. We look forward to return visits to enjoy the inn, the view and the wine!

July 7, 2012 We enjoyed a wonderful wedding day with our daughter, son-inlaw, family and friends at Youngberg Hill Vineyard Inn. Planning a wedding from a distance could have been a challenge but Nicolette at Youngberg assisted with the process with emails and phone calls when neccesary. As parents of the bride, we were thrilled when we arrived that beautiful Saturday morning. The setting and home are magnificent. A breathtaking view. Our lodging and service were defintely 5 star. All of the staff and vendors were gracious and accomodating. Our daughter and son-in-law had the wedding of their dreams! We only wish we stayed longer. Mahalo, George and Connie

I was extremely impressed with this venue. My husband and I live in Maui and did all the planning via e-mail with Nicolette. Her responses were prompt and thorough. We are both from Oregon and I had only visited the venue once before. If you are looking for an over the top view of the Willamette Valley and a comfortable, classy outdoor setting for your wedding this is the place. The staff was extremely accommodating. My husband and I even did a day wedding rehearsal and everything worked out excellent. The only thing I was nervous about was the music not being loud enough and everyone who was not staying at the Inn having to leave by 10 pm. I thought it would of felt like the wedding ended early but it didn't. My flowers couldn't of been more beautiful. My DJ/Entertainer, Jesse Bearden from Event Team Entertainment was like your best guy friend from college. He was so professional and cool. He even brought my husband and I a drink at one point without us asking. Everything was a dream come true and we wish we could do it all over again.

Buyer Beware: Do not get married at Youngberg Hill. While the location is one of the most beautiful in the Willamette valley, the owners were consistently difficult and terrible to work with. We were married there last year and we found the owners, Nicolette and Wayne, to be poor communicators, aggressive, and rude. Every invoice and email exchange required a follow up phone call or two because either the invoice and charges were wrong or they left basic questions unanswered. They nickle and dimed us at every corner. They refused to return our security deposit, falsely claiming that the tent company damaged their property (although there are no photos and evidence and they’ve worked with that same tent company many times before), and they also went after our “day-of” insurance company to try to get more money. UPDATE: After my wedding, the owners asked me to participate in a scam to get my day-of-wedding insurance to pay for imaginary lawn damage in the amount of $15,000! The owners also demanded that I sign a non-disclosure agreement so that I would never reveal the arrangement to anyone. Of course I refused. The owners then sued me...and lost. They have been trying to scam money from me for almost 2 years after my wedding and ultimately lost in court. Take a look at other negative reviews on the internet. Youngberg Hill is an amazing venue. We had a long engagement, so we booked about 1.5 years in advance and didn't have to plan much from the start. Overall, Nicolette and team are really great to work with, but there were some things that stuck with us after the wedding we wished had been taken care of or had better knowledge of. About 2-3 months before our wedding, we learned that there was an extra room added to the Inn. Of course, you have to book the full thing, so we had to find another relative willing to pay the $200+ a night for the room. We also learned around this time that Nicolette would be out of town and another person would take care of us at the Inn, but some details weren't passed along or were overlooked. For example, we filled out a form beforehand for what we'd like in the room and during the ceremony. We checked that we wanted mimosas in the bride's room and champagne for a toast, but we had to ask for the mimosas after realizing they weren't there and there was... Read more no champagne to toast. We also ordered the Syrah for our red wine and they were pouring Cuvee instead. The breakfast was mediocre for what we had paid for per room - granola, fruit and muffins.

Absolutely beautiful. Kind of annoying that you have to have "loud music" turned down after 10PM. Other than that, everything was great. They respond to emails quickly and they're very accommodating. Every wedding guest of mine told me that our venue (Youngberg hill) was the most beautiful they've been to

Of course, I will start this review by saying how spectacular and amazing this venue is. It has to be hands down THE most gorgeous wedding venue in Oregon IMHO. Working with Nicolette and her staff they were consistently attentive and responsive to our needs throughout the planning process. The tough thing for us was planning our wedding remote and not having the ability to drive up to the venue at any given time, especially since the majority of our wedding was done almost entirely DIY. That said YBH is absolutely hands down wonderful if you are relying on a wedding planner to do the majority of, if not all the leg work for you. Because we were so hands on and planned everything ourselves there were a few things that we didn't fully understand until later on in the process such as being able to see the separate catering contract that non preferred caterers are required to sign while we were on the hunt for our caterer. My husband and I are so thrilled with how our wedding turned out at Youngberg Hill. Not only were we surrounded by incredible valley views but we were also surrounded by amazing family and friends. The staff at the Inn made us feel very welcome and that our wedding was most important even though there was a wedding the following day. The owner of the Inn even went above and beyond for me by having a neighbor bring her horse by after the ceremony so I could take pictures on it in my wedding dress! This was a complete surprise to me and all of the wedding guests. Needless to say the kids at the wedding LOVED the horse and even were lucky enough to get pony rides. I don't know many owners of wedding venues would do such an amazing thing for a bride. The only thing that I wish was different about this venue is that the music has to be turned down by 9:30 pm.
