Michelle did an amazing job. I was dreading looking for someone to officiate our wedding, thinking it would be awkward and difficult. But Michelle made everything easy. The initial response was quick and our first face to face meeting went well. My husband and I are shy and not that talkative, but we felt comfortable with Michelle right away. It felt like meeting a friend for coffee. The ceremony was just what we wanted, (non-religious) filled with love, sincerity, and a few funny moments. Michelle was great from start to finish! I had seen her officiate a wedding before and knew I wanted her to do ours. Her ceremony was wonderful! She kept it non-religious, which was important to us, and focused on messages of love and finding your special someone. I especially appreciated the personal touches she put in. One of the first things she did when we booked her was she scheduled a meeting with us to get to know us as a couple so that she could personalize our ceremony and make our day special. We were planning our wedding long distance so I was worried about that part but she was super flexible and facetimed with us instead. We also ended up having a little fiasco with the marriage license on the day of but Michelle stayed cool, calm, and collected which definitely helped keep me from freaking out! I highly recommend her!

Michelle is everything you would want in an officiant - responsive, easy to talk to, down to earth, and someone who can capture your relationship perfectly! It can be a little nerve wracking having someone you don’t know officiant your wedding but Michelle will make you feel right at ease from day 1. Anytime I had a question about a reading or anything related to the ceremony, Michelle was very prompt with her responses. On the day of the wedding, she met with both of us separately to help ease our nerves and assure us that everything would go off without a hitch. We are still blown away by how beautiful our ceremony was and how she was able to perfectly encapsulate our relationship. Karen did a great job officiating our wedding ceremony! She made our ceremony personalized and exactly what we wanted. She made sure to check in with us just before the ceremony and that really eased any nerves we may have had when walking down the aisle.

I couldn’t recommend Michelle enough! About a week before my wedding in September the person who was suppose to marry us told me they could no longer perform the ceremony. I frantically went searching and worked with Avanti Mansion to find Michelle. She was able to fit us in and she was amazing! Communicated so frequently and we were able to quickly take care of everything needed for the ceremony. While doing our ceremony it was like she had known us for so long! I can’t thank her enough. Michelle did our wedding on 9/14/19 at the Hayloft in the Grove. She came highly recommended by them. We are so thankful they did! Michelle nailed it at our ceremony. She included everything that was important to us like our children our family dog and my husbands obsession with hockey.
