Stephanie was a joy to work with and we couldn't be more pleased with the rings she helped us make for our wedding. From the beginning, she was professional, communicative and friendly, which was comforting as we were traveling from Kansas City for the experience. She is so knowledgeable and encouraging; she put us right at ease and made the 6-hour session fly by. We had so much fun and made some amazing memories that we will cherish forever. Not to mention, everyone who finds out that we made our own rings is blown away - it's a great story to tell! As an added bonus, we had a wonderful time exploring the charming Port Townsend. We had a blast making our wedding bands with Stephanie! We got to design what we wanted, with plenty of helpful feedback about our ideas and how to achieve them. Stephanie is encouraging and enthusiastic about and during the process of making the rings. We felt guided at every point, and yet autonomous in the design and making process. We really did every step! We had so much fun and it was a really meaningful way to make something representative of our love- that we love and will get to wear!

Working with Stephanie was an absolute joy. She is a fabulous teacher – she knew when to let us figure things out and when to step in. I entered slightly nervous and left amazed that we were able to make such beautiful rings! It is truly one of our most treasured memories from our wedding and a story we tell again and again. I highly recommend Stephanie and the experience of making your own rings. In fact, I can't wait to go back and make another!

Amazing experience! I was nervous to try this, to even suggest it, because then the pressure would really be on. I am known for being clumsy and not very artistic. But Stephanie was fantastic during the whole process and our rings are even better than I had hoped! They are at least as beautiful as any store bought rings, but they are so much more "us". We will treasure our greatest little works of art every day :)

This was hands down our best wedding-related experience so far. Stephanie was incredibly quick to respond and very helpful throughout the planning phase. She is very knowledgeable about how different types of metals would look in different finishes, and was open and encouraging to our ideas. Our entire experience with Stephanie at With These Rings was wonderful! Stephanie is a great teacher and excellent company. Having absolutely no knowledge of jewelry making, at first I was nervous that I'd mess it up, but by the end of the day we were both very excited and proud of our finished product. Stephanie was patient and we never felt rushed. Our wedding bands have a beautiful memory behind them now and we can't stop telling all of our friends about our experience :)

I wish I could give Stephanie higher than 5/5! Everything was so much fun and well-taught. Even from our consultation, Stephanie was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She is a natural teacher--I never felt stupid for asking questions or frustrated with any steps, and she really does make sure that you do as much as you can (and want) yourself. We love our rings and cannot wait to wear them. Pricing was very reasonable, and our rings look professionally made!

I can't say enough good things about Stephanie and With These Rings. My husband loved the idea of making our rings as soon as I suggested it, and I think our ring making session was a favorite part of wedding planning for both of us. Stephanie was so pleasant to work with - she's friendly, easy going, flexible, inclusive, communicates clearly (upfront prices and logistics as well as instruction in the studio) and maybe most importantly is passionate about what she's doing and understands how cool and important it is to be making your wedding rings. My engagement ring has an irregular shape, so we opted for the casting process so that we could make a wedding ring that would nest against it. Carving the wax together was a great date during a stressful time pre-wedding, and now every time I see my ring, I remember get a little bit of a thrill knowing that my husband made my ring for me. As part of this process, we had the option of having a safety mold made at the same time the ring was going to be cast. It was super reasonably priced and I would highly recommend other couples get these as the ring your fiance makes is truly irreplaceable otherwise and, well, life can happen. Overall, we had a great experience working with Stephanie, treasure our rings, and would heartily recommend making your own wedding rings, especially with With These Rings, to anyone.

Stephanie was such a great combination of skill and calmness-- exactly who we wanted to guide us in making our own wedding bands. Professionally, she did a great job of responding to our questions and keeping us informed. Personally, she was a fun person to spend the day with, too! We felt like Stephanie gave us all the information we needed to make our own decisions with our designs, and that she guided us as much as we needed during the process of making the bands without being over involved. What a great experience. We'll be recommending her to any newly-engageds we meet.

We made our wedding bands in May for our June 14th wedding. We arguably cut it a little close, but Stephanie was more than happy to help (and accommodate our last minute-ness), and the result is perfect. Having shopped around a little bit with a pretty specific gold band in mind, we kept finding the same pricing out of our range and the same slimy jewelry megabrands we wanted nothing to do with. It seemed like we were going to end up either settling for something generic, overpriced and unsustainable, or hit the pawn/ antique market and hope for the best. I came across With These Rings in a flyer for a Vintage Wedding show in Fremont and immediately fell in love with the idea. Once I had the pricing and an idea of the process, I was sold. My husband was arguably even more excited about the whole thing than I was! Our workshop lasted around 5 hours including a lunch outing (thanks, Stephanie!). I think we were both waiting for the curtain to be pulled back to reveal that we would... Read moren't actually be doing most of the ring making ourselves -- but that never happened. By the end of it all, it felt like a hard day's work. We sawed, hammered, soldered, filed, hammered some more, filed a lot more, and scrubbed each other's rings to perfection. Stephanie was and infinitely patient teacher, and limited her interventions to the few instances when we really needed her. We definitely came away from this experience with a newfound respect for jewelers and metalworkers alike. Most importantly, though, we came away with a set of beautiful bands that we made for each other. That's something no retail jeweler could ever compete with.

This was the most amazing experience! Jim and I will forever remember the love and effort that went into making each others wedding rings! Every time we look at our rings the memories we created while making them will flood our minds. Stephanie was super helpful but gave us plenty of room to create the rings of our dreams. I will reccommend this to anyone and if we had to do it all over again, we would choose 'With these Rings' over and over again!

When my fiancée suggested that we make our own rings, I thought she was crazy but Stephanie made it easy, we loved learning the process, and we love the result. During our initial consultation, she described each step, all the options, gave us sound advice, and most importantly to me, she promised she wouldn't let me screw it up. Her years of experience teaching jewelry-making at a local college really came through as she encouraged us to be hands-on, kept us from getting overzealous, and patiently answered all of our questions. We ended up creating two beautiful, unique rings that have an incredible amount of meaning to us because they are imprinted with a stamp that my fiancée designed and they were made with our sweat.

What a special experience! My fiance wanted his ring to have that unique hand-made look so we made his ring with Stephanie at With These Rings. Not only did the ring turn out beautifully, but we had fun making it! Stephanie walked us through each step with just the right amount of instruction, and let us be the ones actually crafting the ring. Stephanie made us feel comfortable throughout the day, and we loved the little extra touches of customer service like asking our lunch preferences ahead of time, celebrating with a little bottle of champagne, and putting the ring in a sweet wooden box.
