  • I absolutely adore Blake, TJ and Shae from occasions. From the week before my wedding to the day of my wedding, they made sure I had everything in place. I never had to want or ask for anything, because TJ made sure everything was done and done beautifully. I honestly feel like she made my wedding! Thank you so much!!

  • Blake and his amazing team were recommended by the venue at Hollow Hills Event Center and we are forever grateful! We were forced to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and there is no way we would have moved through the occasion as gracefully without Blake. This team is super attentive, responsive and amazingly organized which not only made the wedding beautiful, the wedding party was able to enjoy the festivities knowing the folks at Occasions Events & Design were all over the details! A great find and a pleasure to work with for sure!

  • Hiring OED was the best thing I could have done for our wedding. Not to have to worry about decor and the actual day itself was truly amazing, we were able to enjoy the entire day. Blake and his team were a dream to work with and reassured me everything was going to be perfect and it was! Truly made our day memorable and stress free!

My flowers were pure perfection, the ceremony and reception went smoothly and without him the set up portion would have taken twice as long. I highly recommend Blake to help make your special day perfect.

  • A close friend referred Blake to my family. Instantly, I knew that he would be great as he was from our hometown Burkburnett. Blake was able to bring our vision to life. At first , I thought fresh flowers would be out of our budget. However, I am so glad that we chose the fresh flowers. They looked amazing. The toss bouquet was even beautiful. Blake works with All budgets and his work is prestine. Thank you Blake!!! We love you.

  • I can't say enough good things about Occasions Events and Design to make anyone understand how amazing they are! Short story...HIRE THEM!!! Long story...Blake was our wedding coordinator and he absolutely far exceeded our expectations. He worked through every single aspect of our wedding with us and handled it with professionalism, expediency, and care. He provided us references for vendors, contract review services, task management, excellent communication and so much more. Planning our wedding was so much fun and was incredibly easy because I had Blake to oversee everything. The Occasions team ensured that we had the prefect wedding day and I can't thank them enough for all of their hard work. From start to finish it was the most wonderful experience working with Blake and Occasions Events and Design.

  • I cannot say enough good things about Blake and his team! I hired them for month-of planning services, but they were there throughout the process to consult as needed. We had to deal with major storms that flooded several streets near our venue, but Blake, Katie, and TJ made sure that everything arrived safely and on time--by the time I arrived, setup was running along smoothly, and I never would have known that they had been running through downpours to make it happen. Blake knew that an outdoor ceremony was important to us, so once it looked like the rain would let up in time, they reset the ceremony outside and made sure that everything was absolutely perfect. From the major work of setting up and breaking down, to the tiny things like re-pinning a few stray pieces from my hair and helping with some makeup issues, Blake, Katie, and TJ didn't miss a detail. She helped with every single detail, kept us on schedule, and was a professional coordinating all of the vendors prior to the event. Alex was a lifesaver and a great person.   • Words can not express how wonderful Blake and his team were throughout the whole process. I hired Blake for his month of services for my wedding, and my only mistake was not hiring him for the entire time! As soon as the month hit he was in constant contact with me and I did not have a stress in the world! People kept asking me why I wasn't stressed, and I kept saying it is because I have Blake! He was able to suggest vendors for me to use, since I am not from this area. Blake organized all the vendors schedules, took care of ALL set up and tear down at the venue. It was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be using him again in the future and suggest all others do as well!!

  • At first I wasn’t planning on hiring a planner or coordinator, but as the wedding got closer I began to get overwhelmed and new I’d need someone I could trust to make the day run smoother. I’m so glad I found Blake with Occasions Events + Design for my day-of coordinator! He fit my tight budget, and even had a discount for the venue I got married at. The day of he did everything from running my morning of rehearsal, to setting up my decorations, to making sure my new husband and I got food. It was so nice not having to direct everything myself, and if there were any problems during the day, I didn’t hear about it!

  • Blake, the owner of occasions was unavailable for weeks at a time and out of communication after hiring. When confronted with concern, his response was "I can plan a wedding in 2 months". Not a professional response when he was hired to plan almost 9 months in advance. He also made a point to drive a wedge between my wife and I during planning. I do not trust this company and hope you think twice before considering them.
