When my husband and I started wedding planning we specifically talked about the important parts of where to spend our money...for us that was photography. I was partial to a certain aesthetic that I wasn't finding in many photographers. Then we found Averie, I loved her use of light and tones, the capturing of the moments verses the cookie cutter photos most wedding photographers do. When she was available for our date we were so excited. We did an engagement shoot with her which was great prep for the wedding date (I highly suggest it so you get each other's vibe and a little test pre wedding day), we signed on for our wedding photos and also video footage. She was easy to reach and responsive during the planning process, professional, punctual, prepared and ready to go. Both my husband and I are over the moon about our photos, they are so gorgeous. Averie was so easy to work with; it was basically like our friend (with an amazing eye for photos) hanging out with us capturing ... Read moreus in our little special moments. We received a highlight loop very quickly after our special day which was amazing as I know people that wait months to receive their photos. We have received so many genuine compliments on our photos from friends and family. In addition I would say that planning a wedding is a lot of work and having vendors that listen to you and understand your vibe and what you want is important. We worked hard to achieve something that we loved and Averie was always on board. The day of the wedding goes fast, so fast that you barely remember it so the photos are the the one thing besides each other and your commitment that you get to hold onto after its all over... so thank you Averie for making our keepsake so beautiful and special. You captured our union in such a special light we are forever grateful. If she and her team are available for your date, say yes!!!

Averie was great to deal with in the lead up to our wedding day and superb on the actual day - she managed to be everywhere and yet did it in a way where we didn't even notice she was there at times. She made sure she knew the location before the day and found some great spots for our photos. We were really happy with the final pics, which were delivered promptly and included so many great action shots of our guests having a good time, which is exactly what we had asked for. If you are looking for a photographer with a flair for capturing natural moments of joy on your day, then Averie is a terrific choice. She was fantastic on our day, took up very little of our time and did not dominate the proceedings - exactly what we wanted. I got in touch with her at very short notice and she was so accommodating to our request. She managed to squeeze us in for a few hours as requested even though she already had another wedding later on in the day.
