I had the absolute best experience at Van Cleve. Nancy was AMAZING! I felt like I had known her forever when I met her. She made me feel so comfortable. Nancy knew exactly what dresses would be perfect for my body type and she helped me find my dream dress. I really could not have asked for a better day and experience. I had the best experience at Van Cleve Bridal! I had been to a few other bridal shops in the Philadelphia area and this one is by far the best. The boutique itself is elegant, welcoming, and very clean. I was working with Shelly who was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was unlike any other consultant I had before in the best way possible, and I felt like she had known me for years. After trying a few dresses that I had picked from the floor, she went and picked out THE ONE. I swear she has a sixth sense. In all honesty, I had given up on the "the perfect dress" feeling because I had left so many other bridal shops disappointed by both the experience and the dresses themselves. I seriously cannot recommend Van Cleve enough, and if you have a chance to work with Shelly please do! I can't wait to go back to do my fittings and find the perfect accessories! I had an amazing experience at Van Cleve. Nancy was extremely helpful, supportive, encouraging, and fun to work with, and she helped me find my dress! I expected to only try on a few dresses at my 90 minute appointment, but I actually tried on 12 gowns! Nancy was very respectful of my budget as well, which was very much appreciated. I can't to go back and start alterations soon!

My mom and I went wedding dress shopping for the first time last week. I must say that I was not expecting to find my dream dress! I went with a vague idea of what I wanted and was just hoping to narrow down a silhouette. Shelly is truly talented at what she does. Not only did I narrow down I silhouette, I picked my dream ball gown dress in about an hour. First Shelly let me shop in the bridal room to see what I liked. Any dress that I didn’t like, Shelly used my comments to pick the next one. She had me try on all different styles to make sure I was confident in what I liked. When I found a dress I loved, she helped me customize it by adding the perfect sleeves for a winter gown. She was so kind and attentive - I am still amazed that I picked out my dress so quickly and easily! Shelly even scheduled a new appointment so the rest of my family could come see the dress. My experience purchasing my wedding dress from Van Cleve was fantastic from start to finish. I worked with Nancy to find my dream dress - one that was the exact opposite of what I told her I was looking for, but perfect for me in every way. Nancy was fun, professional, and felt like a friend every step of the way - work with her if you can! My wedding was originally scheduled for November, but we decided in July to move the date up to September to accommodate an outdoor celebration. Nancy and the Van Cleve team were so helpful in accommodating my new date and assured me my dress would arrive on time even though we were on a tight schedule. Valentina completed my alterations with a small window of turnaround time and my dress my absolutely perfect on my wedding day. I'm only sad that my wedding dress shopping experience is over!

I visited four salons and tried on 40 or so dresses before heading to Van Cleve with my mom during my lunch break. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and ready to give up on my "perfect" dress to settle for something I knew wasn't exactly what I wanted. I described everything I was looking for to Shelly and four dresses later, I was in it. After so many dresses and so many feelings, I finally had "the feeling." Shelly, my mom, and me knew it right away. I am still in shock at how knowledgeable Shelly was about the dresses, the fabric, the fit, silhouette, literally everything. 10/10 recommendation to my fellow brides.

Van Cleve is a beautiful store. Right away my mom and I loved the ambiance. Shelley was the icing on the cake. She was friendly, patient, funny and so down to earth. She knows her stuff. She found me the most perfect dress. I wanted a few changes to my dress within in days she sent me sketches from the designer with the changes I requested. I would highly recommend Van Cleve to any bride. Thanks Shelley, you’re the best.

Very professional, sweet, kind and helpful

I met Nancy at the Philly Bridal show! She was very knowledgable from the beginning. I quickly set up an appointment with her to start trying on dresses. Prior to me going, I sent Nancy over some dress inspirations ( I had lots of ideas in mind!). When my mom and I arrived, we were greeted, and Nancy was all ready for us with some dresses in mind! Nancy took her time and was extremely knowledgeable about designers and styles. She was also mindful of our budget. Nancy showed us some dresses that she thought I may like...which I ended up saying "yes to the dress," too! It was a great experience overall and the space is beautiful! I would definitely recommend Van Cleve!

I couldn't have asked for a better appointment for my first time trying on gowns. I was lucky enough to have Jada as my consultant and she was absolutely amazing. She even picked out the gown I ended up deciding on for the big day! I couldn't be more in love with everything. Everyone in the entire salon was welcoming and friendly and made the whole day absolutely wonderful. Not mention very accommodating to my schedule as well. They have a great selection of styles and pricing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for their gown!

I had the most amazing experience with Deborah & Nancy. I was not exactly looking forward to dress shopping but they made it so fun for my Mom and I! Didn’t give their opinion, weren’t pushy, and totally flexible with my time and wanting to come back with my aunt and a couple of my bridesmaids. My mom and I popped in on a Friday morning to check out some dresses and were instantly greeted by one of Van Cleve's stylist Nancy, who couldn't have been any nicer. She stopped what she was doing to not only help us with a drop in appointment, but make us feel so welcomed and heard during our time together. She showed us 20 dresses and we loved almost all of them, Van Cleve's selection is incredible. Nancy was personable, friendly and very knowledgable. She quickly zoned in on what my vision was and took it upon herself to find dresses I hadn't picked that she thought I would love, which I did! Although we are still deciding on which one to get (I just got engaged a month ago!) Nancy and the Van Cleve staff made us feel so special. I highly recommend this Van Cleve as well as their stylist, Nancy!

Van Cleve has provided top notch customer service from the very beginning! They helped me find my dream gown, helped my mom find her gown, and helped me pick all of my bridesmaid’s dresses! I dealt mainly with Megan and Ashley and they both go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They are very responsive whenever I have questions or need help, and also super fun at the actual appointments! I am going to miss it once my wedding is over. Highly recommend them and of course their product is absolutely stunning!

We had such a nice experience at Van Cleve Bridal. Our bridal stylists was very knowledgeable and understood my vision but also gave me honest feedback. There was no pressure to purchase and they were very patient. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are in dress shopping!
