Top Hat was a great vendor to work with. They have worked at the Grand Isle, Lake House on many occasions and knew exactly where to go and when to set up. They were professional and knew what to play when. We highly recommend their DJ services.

I was nervous about getting a DJ, as I attended a couple of weddings over the last year where the DJ was over-the-top. We were looking for something more understated, and we were so happy with Top Hat Entertainment and Mark from the beginning. They allowed us to pick many of the songs to be played at the reception, and Mark filled in the remaining time with PERFECT music. People were on the dancefloor all night! Couldn't have asked for better. We'd recommend Mark and Top Hat to anyone!

We had Rob Jones as our DJ, and he was great! Everyone commented on how he created a great party and the dance floor was always full of people! He took requests, and was good at filtering based on what we had talked about before the wedding. At our meeting to discuss what we wanted, he was great at giving suggestions and walking us through the event and the flow of the evening. He was even able to go with the flow when we had to change things around at the last minute due to the rain. He had a great attitude and a style that matched us and our guests!

Top Hat Entertainment was great. They were so good at playing music to be fitting for the crowd. Wedding planning is stressful, and they made it easier. They were very professional, and prompt.

Our Top Hat DJ was friendly, fun, and professional, but we felt like we should have done more legwork in terms of the music we wanted him to play. We would recommend sending a comprehensive list of songs you like.

My husband and I were very pleased with how our DJ was very professional, the night flowed very smoothly and we all had a great time!

We had a few problems with our DJ - he had an odd interpretation of "jazz," and because of this the music for the dinner part of the reception wasn't quite what we'd anticipated. We also had several complaints about him not playing requested songs. The DJ was, however, exceedingly responsive to my husband and me, helpfully provided amps for the ceremony (during which we had a different musician), and seemed very organized, helping us set up for the best man/maid of honor speeches, etc.. So it was sort of a mixed bag, but certainly not a disaster. My biggest complaint is the cost. I did not feel that the DJ's services were worth the extremely high cost ($1000 for 6 hours). We weren't able to find another DJ for cheaper, which is why we ended up with Top Hat, but in retrospect I think our alternative plan of renting a sound system, hooking up an ipod, and getting a friend to man it would have been a better call. Or it would have been if any of our friends would have been up for ru... Read morenning the sound system all night.
