We took a look at several venues around the Pasadena area and loved the Westin the most. Their fountain ballroom is beautiful. They recently painted and re-did their carpet so it is really nice in there. Alma the catering manager is the best. She is also another huge reason why we chose the Westin. She is so sweet and helpful and did all she could to cater to what we wanted to make our day extra special.

We would have never looked at the Westin Pasadena if we hadn't been forced to change our venue almost 9 months before the wedding. But we are so HAPPY we found this hotel. The service staff was unbelievable the night of our wedding, making sure we were well-fed (even though we chose to mingle the whole time) and happy with our bar selections (we up our bar limit twice that night because our guests were drinking so much and having fun). Alma Garrison at the Westin was our main contact and she is such a wonderful person to work with. She is so friendly and positive that we are sad to not be working with her anymore! Originally, we had another Westin sales manager who ended up leaving, but Alma took on the role with no problems and made sure our guests were happy the entire time. The food was UNBELIEVABLY good and this being a hotel, I know people are skeptical about hotel wedding meals. Read morenstead of moving to a bridal suite the night of the wedding, Alma upgraded us that suite our entire stay at no extra cost! She even worked seamlessly with our planner that they handled questions I didn't even know I needed to ask! The only small hiccup that weekend was there were 2 other wedding parties staying there (they were getting married elsewhere) and 2 filming crews there, so things were busier than normal and the front desk switched our guest bags with someone else's, but the mistake was taken care of quickly. In addition, some of our guests' needed handicap accessible rooms and weren't given them at first due to the over-booking, but the matter was resolved very quickly. The hotel is beautiful and the location around the hotel is great. We are so glad we chose the Westin and our guests loved the hotel as well!

Beautiful venue, lots of outdoor locations including mosaic walls and fountains. Great at helping us creating the perfect venue! There were some details about the contract that needed to be cleared earlier but overall good venue!

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! The best part about Westin is the smell once you walk in the lobby. Everything at this hotel is just so magical and beautiful! The staff were extremely helpful throughout our months planning. Alma Garrison is amazing and can make anything happen! Getting our detailed requests in, from catering to cake to rooms to set up. All the funky requests, last minute changes & odd details were all executed flawlessly. This is the best wedding food we have ever tasted" is what I constantly heard throughout the evening, and I must say, I agree! From the cocktail hour hor d'ourves to the salad and duet entree everything was perfect! We're so happy we held our wedding at the Westin Pasadena.

I chose Westin Pasadena because I love the fact that it located in Pasadena, and the fountain ballroom was perfect for a 160 people wedding. I contacted Westin Pasadena on the first week of March and they had the availability for my end of Oct wedding, Bingo!! I booked them right away and start planning for the big day. I met with three different sales and catering manager (first one left the job after a month i signed the contract, and the second one left three months before my wedding day), but it was all good! At least i did not need to repeat myself three times to communicate with them. Everything ran smoothly on the wedding day: service was good, food was delicious..... Thank you Westin Pasadena!!!

We chose Westin Pasadena as the accomodation for ourselves and our wedding guests, and also as the location of the post-party. The public areas of the hotel is gorgeous. Especially the entrance, fountain, and lobby bar area. And you get the very excellent service that you would expect from a Westin. We got the Rose suite for us, and also as the place for the bridal party to get ready. The room is nice and big, though it looks/feels a bit more business-like than I'd like. But that's just nitpicking. The bed and bedding are simply wonderful. The pool, jacuzzi, workout, sauna area -- All really nice. The only thing is the food / drinks are quite pricey. But who care, you are there to splurge! Enjoy!

EVERYTHING was wonderful. The room was elegant. The uplights were the right touch. Our guests RAVED about the food (esp. the Potato Bar) and the generous portions. Staff was attentive to our needs. We are so happy. I loved working with everyone at the Westin. They have a wonderful crew, you won't go wrong should you pick the Westin Pasadena as your venue.

The Westin has a pretty garden behind the hotel that is great for pictures and reception time in the summer season. Their ball room is grand, and I liked the mirrors at the end that not only made the room look bigger than it is, but reflected the lighting we arranged for in the room. It is also in a great location in the heart of Pasadena, right next to Old Town.

I was really happy with the Westin as our reception location and as the hotel our guests (and myself) stayed at the weekend of our wedding. I worked at first with Tracey (who I loved) and then with Kathy who came in halfway through our wedding planning; we had some issues with details that were not well communicated and some pricing issues that also weren't well communicated. I did feel Kathy was very attentive and responsive and she was even there the night of the wedding to oversee everything which I was expecting her to do since she doesn't work Sundays. The staff the night of was also very polite and accomodating. I did feel the venue was a little pricey but the food was absolutely AMAZING (the gnocci, halibut, chicken and salads are SO good) - I was definitely pleasently surprised during our tasting and we received nothing but rave reviews from guests. All in all, I thought the Westin did a great job on our reception and I have no huge complaints other then the cost.

We had our ceremony at the fountain area, cocktail hour on the patio and the reception at the Madera. Shalom was extremely helpful and very flexible. The entire Westin staff did an amazing job and we were pleased with every aspect of our wedding. They worked well with all our vendors and provided the best service we could have ever dreamed of. They allowed us to decorate the ceremony site the way we wanted and helped with all details. Our ceremony was just stunning. The food was great. Salads, entrees, appetisers, desserts were yummy. The waiters were very nice and friendly. Our overnight suite was very clean, cozy and the heavenly bed was very comfortable. The overall experience was very good. This venue just so beautiful and there are so many great places around to take pictures! Highly recommend.

Tracy the wedding coordinator at the Westin is a great businesswoman...she knows how to get every penny from you. However, the service was reliable and she was always reachable. Her assistant Miriam was much more friendly and approachable, and will bend over backwards to help you get your SPG points credited in time for ensuing honeymoons.
