  • My husband and I hired The Refinery for our day of coordination for our October 14, 2017 wedding. Adrienne made planning from New Jersey and absolute breeze, and by the time we got up to Maine for the weekend of our wedding I was confident they knew the vision we had for our day. Sarah and Shannon made our day go without a hitch. If anyone is looking for a planner I wouldn't hesitate to hire this team! They are the sweetest people, and are complete professionals at their job!   • We hired Adrienne to be our "day of" coordinator for our wedding at Camp Mataponi. Adrienne was great throughout the whole wedding process, and was always willing to answer questions and recommend vendors, even though we had only hired her to be our "day of" coordinator. A few months before the wedding, Adrienne worked with us to figure out timelines and a floor plan. She did a great job of combining my vision with her expertise to make sure that both were flawless. We did the majority of our communication by phone and email because I live in Boston, and she helped planning a wedding from afar really easy. But where Adrienne and her team really shined was the wedding weekend itself. We had to bring everything to the venue ourselves, and I didn't want our family and friends to have to worry about anything the weekend of the wedding.   • Adrienne was the best choice we ever made! Our venue required at least a day-of coordinator and I was unsure about how necessary it was to spend money in this area. I thought I could handle it all on my own and boy, how wrong I was! This was the best money we spent! Adrienne was everything - a listening ear, a knowledgeable vendor, a strong partner, a friend, and a true professional! She started collecting information about our wedding right away and was there to answer questions or provide input when we needed her. She helped guide me through a tricky situation with a challenging vendor and led me through the process when our venue changed owners a few months before our wedding day!   • Adrienne was great! She was calm (unlike me) and helpful throughout the process. At first, we thought we were paying a lot of money for a "day of" planner, but we soon realized it was much more than "day of" and well worth it!! Adrienne was more than willing to answer questions from the day we booked her...long before the event. She gave good advice and recommendations throughout the process. Then the real work began! She worked very closely with us (I’m the mother of the bride) to develop the timeline for the day and the layout of the venue ---a raw space where everything needed to be brought in---just the way we wanted it. She also contacted all the vendors and set up the schedule for their arrival. She (and her assistant) set up both the ceremony room and the reception room, using the ideas we’d discussed, and we loved the way it looked!   • Adrienne is a gem! Her kind and calm demeanor kept my mind at ease as our wedding day approached. She really thought of everything, which was especially important given our nontraditional venue. We had to bring everything in ourselves and build the event from the ground up. From lighting for the portapotties to ice for the cocktails, she didn't miss a step. Even though we hired her as a day-of coordinator, I know she spent countless hours in the weeks before our event putting together the timeline, coordinating with other vendors, and ironing out all the details. She always responded right away to my emails and calls, and she made me feel like a priority, never a burden. I didnt worry about a thing on our wedding day thanks to Adrienne! Everything went off without a hitch, and Adrienne was all smiles despite the brutal heat and humidity. I feel so lucky we had her there orchestrating our special day. She really listened and made sure it was even better than I envisioned!
