Every single thing about the Mill is quality! From reviews, I know that this was true for others, but for us it was nothing short of amazing as on top of every other issue, we had a pandemic to work around. In the spring of 2019, my daughter and her fiance planned an October 2020 wedding. In the spring of 2020, we all thought that life would be back to “normal” in the fall. However, by the beginning of the summer, it was pretty clear that nothing was certain. Confused and nervous, my husband and I met with Jackie Truesdale in June. The night of our party, they took guests’ temperatures, offered hand sanitizer, monitored the wearing of masks, etc. At the Mill, there is a spacious covered deck overlooking the lake where guests could chat warmed by heaters or listen to the band, which was under a tent over the adjacent patio. The Mill provided a server for every dining table, which in addition to minimizing contact, resulted in unbelievably personal care for guests, who could remain at their seats if they chose. The maitre d was Judy, and the couple of times I wanted to speak with her I literally turned around and saw her nearby! So we agree with all of the positive feedback from other reviewers: you won’t find better service, food, or decor! We add to that the incredible ingenuity and professionalism of the staff at the Mill to work their magic, especially during a pandemic! We can’t thank them enough for the unforgettable night they created for us!

I can not say enough good things about the Mill and I think my Husband would agree. From the staff to the food and just very single thing about them is perfect. We couldn't have chose a better venue!

My husband and I can’t say enough good things about The Mill! We looked at over 20 venues and when we went back a 2nd time, we knew that this was the best one! Liz took us for a tour for the first time and was so helpful in explaining everything and answering all of our questions. When we went back a 2nd time with our parents, Beau was so kind in answering more questions for us and letting us see everything The Mill had to offer without rushing us through another tour! We fell in love with The Mill before the renovations were complete and even though it was beautiful before, it looked AMAZING after! The cocktail hour is like nothing we’ve ever seen and our guests are still talking about not only the amount of food but the quality of food as well! The amount of options available is nothing like what you will see in other places. We only wish we weren’t so busy talking to everyone so that we could have enjoyed more of the food! They also offer a variety of dinner options and even walk around giving guests the option to have a 2nd portion! We were so thankful that they offered a food tasting so we could try out everything before selecting our menu. It was a tough decision though because everything tasted so good! They packed up our desserts since we were too busy to eat them and the peanut butter explosion is definitely one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten! The service at The Mill is also something that is truly special. Beau was our Maitre D and was amazing! He was right there with us checking in and making my husband and I as well as our families feel so special and taken care of. The servers were so kind and thoughtful for everyone there as well. I don’t remember going to a wedding where so many guests talked about the staff and how genuinely happy they seemed to be there! The Mill in Spring Lake, NJ made our day just perfect. The food, staff, and ambiance were outstanding! We recommend The Mill without hesitation.

We cannot thank the Mill enough for hosting our wedding. We were originally supposed to get married at a related venue, but when COVID hit, we knew we needed to host a smaller, safer, outdoor wedding. Our original venue couldn’t accommodate an outdoor reception, and so we were able to move to the Mill! All I can say is, I can’t believe this wasn’t our first choice. It was better than anything I could have imagined. From the beautiful garden to the modern decor, everything complimented our wedding decor beautifully. During our viewing, we were shown the facility and I was personally really impressed with the bridal suite accommodations. The dresser drawer was filled with items a bride and her crew may need for last minute fix ups or forgotten items. When we left our first visit, we were given treats for our pet cat Ozzy, which myself and my now husband really took note of. We mentioned how much we love our cat and that gesture really made me feel like they listened to our requests/wants. My husband did a lot of the correspondence with me CCed in emails. Our questions and concerns were met with ease and while we had reservations, we were always put to ease immediately. The day of the wedding was very exciting and while this may be their profession where they see brides and grooms almost daily, they were just as ecstatic as we were! They made sure everything was organized adhered to the schedule. Social distancing and temperature checks were practiced and all the staff wore masks. We were waited on hand and foot. The bridal suite was given champagne as well as an assortment of meats and fruits. It was a great way to calm any nerves! There was a speaker to connect your phone to play music, which really helped add to the relaxing atmosphere. The groomsmen suite had an Xbox for their entertainment, too! The ceremony, reception, first dance, and dinner were all beautifully put together. Everyone felt comfortable. We had less than 98 guests and were safely out on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake and nature. We still get compliments on the food! Overall, the experience was lovely. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was very stressful, but The Mill eased our worries multiple times and handled all our concerns like bosses. Everyone is happy and healthy! With the ongoing pandemic and uncertainty, we postponed our original wedding date and moved to The Mill from Clarks Landing Point Pleasant to accommodate the wedding outdoors. Kristen & the team were amazing to work with giving us various options to have our wedding safely. Thank you to The Mill for our dream wedding! My husband and I were supposed to get married at The Mill in December... With all of the circumstances and our concerns, Jackie and her team offered us to bump our date UP EARLIER to have our dream wedding outside in October. At first, I was concerned about having a wedding in “a tent” but it wasn’t a tent at all. The Mill created the most beautiful outside venue we have ever seen. I saw Jackie’s vision for the outside area and we put all of our trust in her. We are SO glad we did because it was amazing. I feel so lucky that I was able to have an outdoor wedding at The Mill after my original venue did not have any outdoor options. The Mill is beautiful inside and outside, I did not feel that we missed anything but having our reception on the deck. The staff and the service at the Mill was exceptional- every detail was taken care of leading up to and the day of the wedding. They are also just really nice people! My guests had a great time, the service was super attentive, and the food and drinks were flowing the whole time! The Mill also has a lot of decor items for use (cake stand, card box, easel, etc) which is one less thing to buy. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it!

The Mill Lakeside Manor is just the perfect venue with the perfect team to help make your special day simply perfect (ours was 8/17/19). My wife & I searched all throughout the northern half of the Jersey Shore, from LBI on up and the Mill was just the perfect combination of venue, service, location and cost. The team was incredible to work with, with first class service from the day we toured the facility. And when we were confused and got lost on The many choices you need to make, the team at the Mill was great in taking the time to explain things to us, talk about different options and what other happy couples have done. They were flexible with timing, menu choices and even the day before planning/storage. They worked easily with our vendors to arrange their setups and everything. The tasting itself was quite the event and something we really enjoyed. On the day of, everything was so seamless, I'm not sure my wife or I had any worry about things not going to plan, or things we had to handle. We can’t say enough great things about The Mill as a wedding venue. We went to look at it when they were doing renovations, and even with so many things unfinished we knew we wanted it to be our wedding venue from the start. In addition to the beautiful atmosphere and wonderful food, you get what I believe might be the most important part of a wedding venue - fantastic service. Having never been married before or planned a wedding we didn’t realize how very important the service would end up being! The whole team wants you to have a wonderful day and will do anything in their power to give it to you. We mostly worked with Allison, Ryan and Garrett but everyone you came across at The Mill was extremely helpful. We had to ask for some weird things - my sister has some extreme dietary restrictions and many of our guests didn’t drink - but they were able to make her food she could eat and swap the champagne for sparkling cider for our guests. Worked mainly with Allison and Ryan, but the entire staff of the Mill exceeded all expectations. Many guests reached out to say how accommodating and professional the staff was. The mill was the first wedding venue we looked at, after looking at 7 other venues we came back to The Mill because it truly was the best. Liz guided us through the wedding planning process she let us stop by multiple times to look at things. The renovations that happened during the time from booking till our wedding only made the place more beautiful. Ryan was great in planning of our day and make sure all the details were in place. They were so flexible, and were so accommodating with the menu and made changes to make it perfect menu for us. On our wedding day, I didn’t have to lift a finger.
