  • Easily the BEST part of my wedding was my venue- The Laurel. They were incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable during my tour of the venue. Once I decided I HAD to choose them, my coordinator, Carly, was helpful and made sure to take on any and all stress before and on the wedding day.

  • My daughter recently got married at The Laurel in late June. All I can say is: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The venue is beautiful, the simple elegance, high ceilings, patio and amphitheater/grass are striking and accommodate large numbers. I can't tell you how many wedding guests have reached out to and commented on how fabulous the food was - hats off to Boxwood Catering! The chapel and reception hall were air conditioned and comfortable on a hot muggy June day. We utilized a number of vendors recommended by The Laurel and each was fantastic (hats off to Tarnos Photography, Butterfly Cakery, and DFW Parties, to name a few). Finally, our coordinator - Maggie - was fantastic: great communication leading up to the big day and on wedding day itself, she handled every detail, quietly touched base with us throughout the evening to see if we needed anything.   • Our wedding at the laurel was our dream day! Our day of coordinator, Maggie, made sure everything ran smoothly and made sure I was relaxing and enjoying myself. The chapel is stunning, the bar service was great, and the food was phenomenal. They even set up an extra buffet line so everything went quick and we could dance the rest of the night away. Any questions I had throughout the process Maggie was more then willing to answer or give me recommendations about. I did most of the planning myself but she helped remind me of anything I was missing and coordinated set up with vendors so I didn’t have to worry about anything. It really was the best day of our lives!

  • This is the best venue - hands down. From the staff, to the incredible food, to the venue itself - I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. We had to switch our wedding from Chicago to Dallas two months before the day of and the Laurel worked with us for a seamless transition. Maggie and Andy made us feel so special and literally made our dreams come true with all the special touches day of. On the wedding day there was an issue with my place cards and Andy spent so much time fixing them and saving the day. From the beauty of the chapel to the fun cocktail hour outside to the uniqueness of the Great Hall - our guests and vendors were telling us this was one of their favorite wedding venues ever. Do yourself a favor and book your wedding here - you won't be disappointed!

  • I can not thank Maggie, our day-of coordinator, and The Laurel for making my daughter's special day everything she dreamed it would be! Maggie and her team managed to help my daughter and I plan a long-distance wedding at a venue I had never been to before! Everyone at The Laurel, especially Maggie, helped bring together all the vendors and allowed my daughter and I not to worry or stress that everything was going to be done just the way we planned! The Laurel is a beautiful venue, the food was fabulous, the bar tenders, and servers, and staff could not have been more on point. I would highly recommend The Laurel. I feel so fortunate that they were a part of this very special day!

  • I wanted to share our great experience with the owner and management team of the Laurel. Our daughter‘s wedding, which was expected to be about 225 people, was scheduled for the Laurel this May 2021. Unfortunately during the unprecedented 10 day snow and ice storm that hit Texas, the Laurel experienced damage to their building due to frozen burst sprinkler pipes. Buildings all over the DFW metroplex experienced significant damage. Soon after, we were contacted by the owner, Thomas Bain, of Boxwood Hospitality and told that the repairs would not be completed in time for our daughter‘s wedding. I can’t say enough how much we appreciated his openness, honesty and transparency during this time. He was great in communicating with us his negotiations with insurance and attempt to expedite repairs to the building.   • We just booked this venue and it has been a wondeful experience so far. From the initial call to the scheduled tour everyone we've interacted with has been polite, professional, and pleasant to work with. This venue is beautiful, spacious and clean. We can't wait to have our wedding here!!

Working with Carly was a dream - she made sure everything ran smoothly and coordinated with my wedding planner so that everyone was on the same page.   • I got married on January 11, 2020 and The Laurel was our wedding venue. My husband and I fell instantly in love with the entire venue. It was everything we wanted and more! Communication: The communication with the staff was exceptional, even from the very beginning. Each person responded back within hours and were on top of every question I asked (which was a lot). Communication is top notch, even after your wedding! Venue Wedding Coordinator: At The Laurel you are given a day of wedding coordinator and she becomes your "go to" person throughout your wedding process. This is the person you meet with on multiple in person meetings at The Laurel. You go over things like floor plan, catering, bar packages, and much more.   • The laurel is the perfect wedding venue. The chapel, reception hall and outdoor space are gorgeous and offer space for a big or small wedding. My coordinator was Julianne and there are not enough words for how amazing she was. She was there through planning and walking us through drink packages, table arrangements and the biggest help was at the wedding and rehearsal. She was great with communicating and keeping us updated. On the wedding day, she made sure everything went smoothly and if there was an issue I had no idea. I would totally recommend the laurel and Julianne as the coordinator.

  • We fell in love with the Laurel the day we toured it and only toured one other place after. They were so easy to work with. They provide a day of coordinator and we were assigned Julianne. She was so helpful and easy to work with all throughout the 11 months leading up to the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and has everything you need on site. It was everything we could have wanted!

  • As soon as we saw the Laurel in person, I knew it was where we were going to get married. The space is gorgeous, both inside and outside. We had an outdoor ceremony but loved knowing that our “rain plan” was the most beautiful chapel we ever saw. The bridal and groom’s suites were both perfect for our needs. Most importantly, our day of coordinator was amazing. She was easy to work with, relaxed, kind, and fun to hang out with. She made the day run smooth and was a calming presence. We are so glad that we picked the Laurel!

  • My daughter recently had her renewal of vowels in the Chapel and her wedding reception in the Great Hall at The Laurel. She and her husband were supposed to have this celebration on 3/20/20 but due to Covid, had to postpone their big day until Sept. 2020. They went ahead and got married on 3/20/20 without anyone present except for their parents. In Sept. 2020 Covid was still a threat so they had to postpone it again to June 11, 2021. The Laurel management and our wedding coordinator Carly Suhr were so accommodating and worked with us throughout the Covid crisis and required date changes. When we finally celebrated their big day, from the moment we walked through the doors, Carly was again right there to help us ensure that their celebration was fabulous and memorable.   • The Laurel has all the aesthetics a woman could dream of for her wedding day. It’s was convenient having the absolutely beautiful chapel attached to the reception so no one has to leave to drive to the reception. The one kicker with The Laurel is they have a pretty strict catering list, we had to get our outside catering business approved and it was! I would also say they mandate the bar package through them, which I was super worried about because they pick 2 out of the 3 choices of beer and they pick the wine. So I was quite worried which ones would be picked, but they did choose a variety of light/dark beer which made me happy. The event coordinator I had was Carly, she literally was amazing! Very helpful leading up to the leading and during the wedding. She was included with The Laurels Package.
