Dan and The Hook Club are the best. Way before the pandemic, we went to Brooklyn to see them play and we were blown away. We couldn't wait to have them at our wedding. 4 cancelations (and counting) later and we've been blown away with the professionalism of Dan the entire time. He's been so attentive to our issues and is working with us for whenever we will eventually have our wedding day. I can't recommend The Hook Club enough.

After going to one of their shows, we immediately knew we needed to have The Hook Club at our wedding! Dan has been super helpful in the planning process, from helping pick instruments for our ceremony to planning out logistics. When we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid, they were very responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

My Wife and I are SO HAPPY that we chose The Hook Club as our wedding band. Can I give 10 stars? The band leader, Dan V, went above and beyond to make our wedding sound and feel the way we wanted it to. We are a VERY music-minded couple, so we were likely not the easiest people to deal with, but he was SO flexible and understanding throughout the entire process. He even worked with me on a custom song-list! We had friends play music for our ceremony and Dan/Hook Club provided the equipment necessary which was all fantastic and perfect for the space (which was outside). The meat, though, was our reception. The wedding was almost two weeks ago and people are CALLING us to tell us how amazing the dance party was. L'Marco is officially everybody's favorite person, Bree's voice is INCREDIBLE and the rest of the band was SO tight. PERSONAL favorites were their performances of Love Roller Coaster, the moment where they let my 8 year old cousin sit in on drums for a song (he's still beaming from that: his first time sitting in the professionals) AND the EPIC Bohemian Rhapsody sing-a-long at the end of the night. As father of the bride, you can only hope the band you pick for your affair keeps the party going with a dance floor full of happy party goers. The Hook Club does just that. I couldn't believe how full the dance floor was all evening. Their repertoire is very extensive, and the musicians have great enthusiasm. They even let me "sit in" for a couple of tunes on my sax, which made the evening even more special for me and my family. You should definitely check them out-you won't be disappointed !!

We hired The Hook Club for our wedding and it was by far the best decision we made when it came to vendors. What drew us in first was the playlist they sent us that probably had around 500 songs on it and covered every genre you could imagine. We also checked them out on YouTube and were sold because it was clear they knew how to entertain a crowd. Dan was extremely helpful and took the time to personalize our experience and make it the party of a lifetime. Prior to the wedding, he scouted out our venue and gave us counsel on whether or not to get a stage which we were on the fence about (we got the stage and it was the best decision). The Hook Club was recommended to us by a close family member who saw their incredible performance at a wedding last summer. She said the energy they brought was unlike any wedding she’s ever been to, and everyone there truly did not want the night to end! From videos I watched and reviews I read, I knew they were the right band for us! Since hiring them, band leader/owner, Dan, has been absolutely incredible to work with. We hired them to play at our August 2020 wedding, which ended up getting postponed to September 2021. Dan was in constant communication with us as the virus started to unfold and more restrictions were set in place. The Hook Club was the best choice we made in our whole wedding planning process! Dan was an awesome partner from the day we met him (even before we signed a contract) through to the end of the wedding itself. He went above and beyond in every way in terms of planning and his attention to detail. And the band itself was AWESOME. The singers were absolutely incredible and the band truly made our wedding unforgettable. I've never been to a wedding with better energy on the dance floor all night long and The Hook Club is 100% responsible for that. These guys crushed at our wedding! They played during our cocktail hour and the reception and almost seemed like 2 different bands. Dan and The Hook Club (THC) were the perfect band for our wedding day. From day one, The Hook Club showed us nothing by love and dedication to make our wedding vision a reality. We first saw THC at their showcase in Brooklyn and were blown away at their performance. We immediately fell in love the instant we heard their voices and saw their enthusiasm and passion for a crowd of 20 people. Dan was professional, friendly, and very timely in his responses. The best part of THC was how much they interacted with us and the guests on the dance floor. The lead singers and all the musicians would come out and share the floor and microphone with all of the guests. We asked Dan to make sure the dance floor stayed packed, and boy did THC deliver. The Hook Club was AMAZING!! Anything you could hope for from a wedding band they delivered! From a wide variety of songs on their set list to even learning some special requests, they did it all. The dance floor was packed all night! My father also plays the saxophone and they were able to accommodate all his requests as well as letting him play alongside them whenever he wanted. It really made it all that much more special! Dan was also incredible to work with! He was always available for a phone call when I needed. They were engaging with all our guests and really knew how to keep the party going. If you are looking for a wedding band, look no further Hook Club is it!!!!

If I could give The Hook Club 10 stars, I absolutely would. They are simply amazing. At least 50 people complimented us on our the music. They played everything. Many guests were impressed by the range of music they played. Almost every single band member took a turn at lead vocals for at least one song. They play oldies, rap in English and Spanish, perform sax solos, play a baby grand piano, and do a mean Springsteen. When our guests demanded an encore, two singers, the sax, and the trumpet all came down on the dance floor. They were fun and interactive the entire night. We knew to expect high energy because we had the pleasure of seeing them play at the Groove club in downtown NYC. And I’ll add they are so reasonably priced compared to some of the other mediocre bands we considered. We cannot thank the band, and their leader, Dan enough for making our night unforgettable.

Right off the batt Dan the band manager got us set up to see them in Brooklyn, he was organized and communication was a breeze. After watching their set in person and dancing with our family we knew they would kill it at our wedding!! We request a few songs and our first dance Electric loves by the Borns was fantastic!! All of our family said the band made the party!! Get a big dance floor venue because 90% of our 200 person wedding was dancing!!!! Thank you to The Hook Club for an amazing night.
