  • Picture Perfect Venue and Excellent Customer Service! They have 2 beautiful ballrooms to choose from and they include so many things with the rental. Linens, Centerpieces, Cake Stands and Uplighting...Oh My! They even have an in house florist so that you can minimize outside vendors appointments. ❤️

  • Our son and now daughter- in- love got married here this past Sunday! We had an amazing time. Everything was beautifully done. The owners, staff and Kelly were simply amazing; accommodating and super friendly. The entire process; from reserving the venue, planning and bring the Bride and Grooms vison to life was on point. Our son is active military and was deployed during the entire wedding process; they even took that into consideration and kept the possibility of him not returning home in time on their radar. The compassion they showed during our planning process was also very special as we did experience a financial loss with a previous venue that went bankrupt. The Bride and Groom were all smiles from beginning to end. And, Kelly, what can I say! She was so patient and accommodating to us, the Bride and Groom, our very large wedding party and well as our guest. We were a lot to work with. She was on pint with every move, request and need.   • Me and my husband are so happy we chose The Heights Villa. They were always very responsive and organized. They were always willing to help. Even during a national pandemic they took special measures in making sure the building was sanitized, temperatures taken and hand sanitizer was throughout the building. I would recommend them to anyone. I want especially recognize Kelly and Jaime for always going above and beyond and were always so patient and nice to me and my husband.

  • I always recommend this venue to friends and family. I've had my daughter's birthday party here multiple times. My sister had her wedding here and my niece had her quince at The Heights Villa. We always have a fabulous time and can't give the venue and their staff enough compliments. Kudos!

  • I've attended several events at The Heights Villa. The venue itself is simply exquisite and the service provided by the owners and staff is second to none. Wonderful ambiance all around! Definitely one of my favorites!

  • If you are looking for a all in one, stress free venue.. look no further! The Heights Villa staff is wonderful! They are very helpful in any questions that I may have and their team is very accommodating on the big day! They have a selection of proffesional vendors in house for us to choose from making the planning process simpler. Kathy, Lesley, Katie and the rest of their team are amazing!

  • Quality service with a beautiful venue. The owners of this venue go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to make your event special and memorable. They have such a good eye for detail and will remember all the little things that you might forget about having or doing. I highly recommend this venue whether it’s a quinceanera, costume ball, graduation party, or the most spectacular wedding ever, this is the place to be!

  • We absolutely love Cathy and Brendan!!! They are an awesome bunch and will take care of you just like family! If you are looking for a venue that offers great service who personalizes their guests, this is the place for you. Their patios are like none other in the Houston area. The walkway leading towards the back patio will make you feel like you’re in another country. This venue is down right beautiful and they are so accommodating. The day of our wedding was fabulous thanks to Lesley who helped throughout the entire night; she’s simply fabulous!! Jamie is so responsive and won’t let you believe you’re in the planning process alone as she reminds you of things that you might have forgotten. They walk you through the entire planning process. You won’t be sorry with trusting them to hold your event! The Vara’s are a part of THV family for life!

  • The Gowings are a joy to work with and their venue was like a dream! If I could do it all over (which I would because it was the best day of our life) I would chose The Heights Villa every time. Our wedding went SO smoothly and everyone had a blast! All of the staff at the venue were more than helpful, kind and a pleasure to work with. I will always look back with nothing but love and joy. No regrets and not a single problem! It was so fun picking through all of their decoration options and they really made the experience a wonderful memory. Thank you SO much. Oh, I forgot, the photo booth was a blast and we used one of their preferred caterers (Bailey Conner's) and all of our guests were blown away. Everything was on point and clean and beautiful.

  • Typically, I do not leave any negative reviews on a business however this venue has taken it to another level. We booked our daughters Quince for last year and we changed the date due to a scheduling conflict and paid the fee. We were given two options of dates to choose from which could not happen, due to Covid. We opted to change the date once more to 2021 and we were once again required to pay a date change fee, which we did. We did everything in our power to make the event possible. We paid the event in full, in a good amount of time prior to the event date. Once we began the actual planning of the party, we were met with many obstacles and they could not use our outside vendors. This was clearly known by the venue and the staff at the time of booking and was never expressed to us.     We did our best to work with you through the challenges of the past year. You had 4 different dates booked for you. Your final date is still available and you are able to hold your event. The event could have been held on the other dates as well. I understand there has been a pandemic. We moved dates for people when we were unable to hold their events due to County regulations at no additional cost. When we were able to hold events, we charged a fee of $1000-1500 to take another date. Other venues were charging a 50% rescheduling fee. Every time we move a date we lose the ability to book the space to someone else. Our major expenses as a venue are not necessarily staffing but mostly carrying costs such as mortgage, property taxes, utilities etc.. If we were to give everyone 4 dates for each event, we would not be able to survive. We have hosted many incredible Quinces at our venue. We have many multilingual vendors at competitive prices. Unfortunately your DJ never provided insurance, while trying to provide pyrotechnics which we do not allow by contract. In the course of 2 years of planning, we were not told about the pyrotechnics until very late in the processes. We attempted to offer solutions. We wish you the best of luck at your upcoming event.

  • Overall, we were happy with the venue. We rented the Grand Ballroom, which was beautiful and far less expensive than the other venues we looked at in Houston (and we looked at many!). I appreciated their communication with me leading up to the wedding and their flexibility when we had to change our date due to COVID. They allow you to bring in outside vendors, but there is a large additional fee to do so. They also allow you to bring in your own alcohol, which is a huge plus! However, we wanted to have signature cocktails, and there were a lot of regulations we had to adhere to in order to have signature drinks, including batching 5 gallons of the drinks beforehand ourselves and bringing them in the day of the event. The only other negative was the day of coordinator was not very helpful the day of the event and actually caused some increased stress. However, I would definitely still choose this venue again. You can’t beat everything you get for the price!

  • My husband and I had our wedding at THV on 4/22/18. It was absolutely an amazing experience! The entire staff was gracious, friendly and transparent, even when our wedding started almost 40 minutes behind schedule. If there were issues going on behind the scenes, I didn't know it! Jamie was very communicative via e-mail on everything and was more than helpful for us.

  • My wedding was on January 28, 2018. I do not recommend this place. Don’t get me wrong, it is beautiful however, they charge for so many irrelevant things. For example, if you chose an outside caterer, you have to pay an extra fee of $1000. So we went ahead and booked with a caterer that they “preferred” which wasn’t bad at all. The problem was that the heights villa made it mandatory to do a “bar buyout” even though our caterer already offered drinks. So we paid $1,050 for the bar buyout plus the charge of the caterer that already came with drinks. They literally charge for everything! They charge for the square tables (if you want to use those instead of the round ones), they charge for certain center pieces, they charged me for the white runner that I wanted to use for the ceremony!     Alfa, I am sorry that you were annoyed. We have one of the most extensive list of included items of any venue in Houston. We have at no extra charge 80 tablecloth options and over 30 centerpiece options. We do charge for the aisle runner due to cleaning costs, Most brides do not use a runner. We are frequently 1/3 the cost of decorator supplied runners. We do charge $10 for square tabletops because they require larger specialty linens. We do not charge for outside photographers or DJ's. Ray, the manager on duty said he never left the venue that day. He said he provided reserved signs and 2 DJ tablecloths which we normally do not provide. Ray said the majority of the event he spent in the bar area assisting with serving. The locked doors were to the bridal suites. They are locked to safeguard purses, wallets, and your personal items. The police officer was present all day. They walk the event but also the parking lot for safety. They try not to be seen too much unless they are needed. The bar buyout fee was $6 per person, was disclosed up front in the contract, and is charged because the caterer drinks are only served during dinner and then stopped. Your guests had soft drinks and juices for the entire four hour reception. Again I apologize that you were annoyed. I would be happy to speak to you if you would like to call. Cathy
