  • I hosted a few events at the Omni for my wedding weekend. We got there on a Thursday and we had a Welcome Dinner at the Edison with my immediate family followed my Welcome drinks and worked with Leshall was wonderful to work with! She was flexible, accommodating and so incredibly friendly!!! She also helped me set up a Farewell Brunch at the Blue Ridge restaurant the Sunday after our wedding at the resort. All the venues at the Omni are exceptional. From the views, the culinary experience, the service and the staff. Everything is top tier and fabulous! Friday I treated my bridesmaids and mother to a Spa Day at the Grove and that did not disappoint. We were in heaven and nobody wanted to go to the rehearsal! It was hard to leave and believe me; we will be back! We loved it and had such a wonderful bonding experience that I will always cherish and remember.

  • Annie/Amye/Andrew are a powerhouse staff. My wedding was so perfect, and even with a little rain during an outdoor wedding, they moved everything inside which actually felt like an upgrade. Serving staff was amazing too. Top to bottom, everything was perfect. Would recommend for a destination wedding FOR SURE.

  • From the beginning of planning to post wedding, the Omni Grove Park Inn venue, catering and staff were so incredible. Very organized and professional, the planning process was stress-free. The tasting was the most magical experience ever; we really felt pampered and taken care of. The food was so delicious, our guests are still talking about dinner and the cake. The staff was accommodating and attentive the weekend of the event, from the bride's family's suite to the newlywed's room to each and every guest room. There were personal touches like wine and cheese and handwritten notes. I cannot imagine our wedding weekend having gone more smoothly, and we have GPI to thank for much of it. Plus, the property is so beautiful, our photos could not have turned out more stunning.

  • We had an excellent experience at Grove Park. The catering contact was super nice and responsive, easy to work with. They were able to make everything we wanted happen perfectly, and even held on setting up the event until the last minute, letting the rain pass (rather than moving the event inside), allowing our event to go just as planned. The bartender and service staff we had were great, overall a super awesome experience! There's no way we could have had a better view, or memory of our rehearsal dinner!

  • We just had our wedding at the Grove Park Inn and it was Spectacular! First of all- we lucked out with the weather- perfect sunshine, light breeze and mid-60's! Our wedding had the most beautiful view of the mountains with an awesome outdoor fire! Food and cake were delicious and the staff was incredibly helpful. If you want to feel like a celebrity on your big day- the Grove Park Inn is the place to have it!

  • I don't know where to begin with this review because everything absolutely blew my husband and I away. From the tasting to the wedding day, we were so thrilled with every little detail. Danielle gave us a venue tour when we first got engaged, and she answered all of our questions and handled our booking. She was so helpful! Annie took over our event from there to handle all the catering. She was amazing and handled everything so well! The day of the wedding, we had food delivered to both the bridal and groom suites, and oh my goodness- they were breathtaking! The wedding, despite the rain, went off perfectly and everyone told us it was the best food at a wedding they've had. We also got late night sliders, which were a huge hit with all of our guests. Even the bellhops, front desk, housekeepers, concierge and other staff all were the sweetest and most helpful people. Thank you to EVERYONE at the Grove Park for making our wedding perfect.

  • I can't get over how absolutely perfect and magical my entire wedding weekend at the Grove Park inn was. My husband and I live in Michigan, but I spent part of my childhood in North Carolina and always dreamed of a wedding at the Grove Park Inn. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! We spent five nights in a suite with a stunning view of the mountains. We held our Saturday night cookout-style rehearsal dinner at the Country Club, our Sunday ceremony on the Mountainview Terrace, and our reception in the Skyline Ballroom. We also held a farewell brunch Memorial Day Monday on the Mountainview Terrace. Aside from the fact the Grove Park Inn is one of the most beautiful places on earth, they executed the most elegant, beautiful, and FUN wedding that any of my guests had ever been to. We visited for a private tasting in October of 2016 and were treated like royalty for an entire day. All of the food for our wedding weekend was truly phenomenal, and the bar was outstanding. • Overall, we could not have asked for a more beautiful and unique venue for our wedding last weekend. Our guests were blown away with the beautiful views, the attentive staff, and the historic nature of the Grove Park. We got married at their Country Club venue and LOVED how secluded and private it was...it felt like we had a mansion to ourselves for the whole night without the pressure of dozens of tourists/hotel guests looking on or interrupting photos and things. It is an old building; my husband is much more into the antique/character look than I am, but his excitement over the space made me love it in the end. The outdoor patio space and covered terrace are just GORGEOUS. Unfortunately, we had an atypical Asheville day of thunderstorms almost ALL DAY so we missed a lot of the classic mountain views/photo opportunities up at the Main Inn because of the logistics with the rain. BUT Annie and the GPI team handled the weather issues gracefully and in a way that did not stress me out at... Read more

  • I chose the Grove Park Inn because they are known for their amazing service and the location is breath taking. The planning portion of the event could certainly be improved upon, I went through 4 different catering sales managers throughout the 1 year process of planning and did hit some bumps as to what one had promised me versus what the next was telling me. However, in the end the event turned out so perfect and the service once we got there was AMAZING. Including upgrading our room to the Club level (aka the best of the best you can get there). We had our wedding at the Country Club and I would definitely recommend this venue because it was so private and beautiful and secluded.

  • Had a beautiful wedding last fall at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. While I was from Asheville, it was a comfortable place for all my guests from out-of-town to stay, a lovely, historic venue, and the food was great. Many guests commented ours was one of the best wedding cakes they had ever eaten!

  • From the beginning they have been one of the worst vendors. They made us change our wedding date even though we were first to put our names down for the date. They claimed "it is above us and the group coming in was booked by corporate." After we accepted the date change, they were having a problem figuring out how to price the kitchen for us. We are the first outside catering group they had booked. We were very patient with them, and provided them with everything they asked for to approve the caterer and his team. In the meantime, they convinced us that signing the contract to secure the ballroom space was the best way to go. We trusted them in getting back to us soon about the kitchen usage. Lo and behold, the original sales manager we were in contact with leaves and now a new person is in charge. Already November by this point, we are in contact with the new sales manager, but responses are extremely slow. I would have to email them twice before getting any kind of response. Respons... • Grove Park Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding! The pros: Annie and the GPI team helped create such a memorable day for us. Beautiful resort/location, AMAZING views, so historic. The food was one of the best, if not the best, at any wedding I've been to. The cons: Response time to emails was a little slow at times. They are busy planning many events so you have to be patient. They always get back to you but the delay got frustrating at times. Also cost, a little expensive, but worth it.

  • Grove Park Inn is absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to have my wedding here. Danielle worked with me the best that she could, although there was only so much she could do. Very professional. She stays pretty busy, but she will get back to you within a reasonable amount of time. The terrace view of the mountains and golf course is amazing. The food is also top of the line. Danielle was able to fulfill a few of our special requests which we really appreciated.

  • Overall, my experience with my wedding at TGP was fantastic! However, I had some pretty major bumps in the road to get to that point. I am from South Florida. Since we were planning from so far away, we had to rely on the Grove Park Staff to accommodate. We scheduled a date to fly up for the tasting, venue viewing, and finalizing of final details. When we arrived, our contact at TGP was very very busy and seemingly overwhelmed. She informed us that they would not be providing a food tasting (still not sure why she had us fly in for a tasting and then said we wouldn't be having one), and that the cake baker was out of town and we could not taste the wedding cakes either. We tried to stay positive when she told us that we were also not allowed to view the venue because there was a business meeting being held in the space. I am not sure why all of these things happened when we scheduled them well in advance. I decided to hire a wedding planner for the month of: Shoutout to Lisa Pleasant... Read more

  • The venue is gorgeous, but they are booking way too many weddings for the coordinator to handle. The coordinator was unreachable most of the day of my wedding because she was doing sales meetings with potential brides and we had to move the wedding inside due to rain and she didn't answer her phone for hours. My MOH had to show the vendors where to set up. The location and food were incredible. You just need to be a very calm and flexible bride to deal with the lack of help and coordination.
