2020 was undoubtedly a difficult year to plan a wedding but Caitlyn Smith at the Golden Bear Club really made it easy. We had such a great experience through every step of planning from our tours to tastings. Caitlyn was responsive to all of our questions and requests and really helped our vision come to life. The venue is beautiful and our guests felt very comfortable during these challenging times with the help of the covid precautions that the venue took. Our package included the 3 available rooms which was awesome, we were able to have a beautiful view of the water and gazebo during cocktail hour, a more private setting for our photo booth with a fireplace and the main room was spacious enough to accommodate the buffet, tables and dance floor. The food and drinks were amazing and our guests loved the all of the courses. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking around in the Central Florida area, it is really easy to navigate and so beautiful.

A hidden gem to the public. I would’ve never thought to inquire but I’m happy I did. The venue is gorgeous. Depending on your style, you’ll probably want to hire a decorator but you don’t necessarily need one. Caitlyn was awesome and she’s a wedding planner as well so you get the best of both. She was very helpful on every level. I’m so happy I had her. The food was impeccable. All of my guests loved it.

We loved this venue so much ! We first fell in love with the aesthetics of Golden Bear ... it matched perfectly with our vision... wood floors, wide open window, easy access to outside area, beautiful grounds for photos. Then we met the event coordinator Caitlyn... and we were set ! She is without a doubt the most professional, responsive, amazing person ever! We absolutely loved her and loved working with her. She helped us through every phase of planning and every minute on our wedding day. It was such a pleasure to work with her ! We cannot say enough about how much we appreciated Caitlyn!!! Our guests were raving about the venue, the food, and their overall fun night ! We wish we could have our wedding day all over again and do it the exact same way. Highly recommend this venue !!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding at the Golden Bear Club!! Caitlyn, the Director of Events, was so wonderful!! She is so sweet and was always so fast to respond to all of my questions. She is extremely organized, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional! Our wedding was supposed to be in May 2020 and Caitlyn was soooo helpful when we decided to postpone our wedding until September 2020. The venue is so beautiful as well!! We had our ceremony indoors and still went outside to the gazebo, lake, and staircase for photos. Our reception was amazing and so much fun, and the food is delicious there!! All of our guests have been letting us know how much they enjoyed their meal. We truly had the best day! I recommend the Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe for your wedding ceremony and reception!!!

Jen and the Golden Bear Club made sure our experience was everything we wanted and more. The venue is beautiful and they just installed a swing chair for some beautiful pictures. They also have a gazebo and a lake backdrop among other scenic spots. The prices were more than reasonable and the food was incredible. Jen was there the day of the wedding making sure everything was absolutely perfect. We truly made the best choice in choosing The Golden Bear Club!

Wow! is all I can say about this venue. Look no further! My wedding day was absolutely perfect I could not have asked for anything more! Jennifer Byrne the event coordinator, the chef and the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. Jennifer was available for us through the whole process, answering my calls, emails right away and meeting me whenever I needed. The food is delicious and very filling. I did not have to do anything just tell Jennifer what I wanted and drop off our decor the day before Jennifer and her team did the rest! they made our ceremony and reception gorgeous and breathtaking we are still receiving compliments. The whole venue is beautiful inside and out! It is a full service venue which made it stress free for me and my family. The very convenient locker rooms are very close to the reception area which made it very easy for my husband and I to bring our clothes and get ready in there. I had the most amazing experience with The Golden Bear Club. After booking over a year ago, and not only losing not one, but two coordinators they had, as a bride, i was understandably anxious and upset. But then i got a phone call from Jen (their newest coordinator). And she is nothing less than the best! She is incredibly thoughtful, kind, and calmed all of my nerves immediately! She was just a text or call away, and she helped keep me calm all the way up to when i walked down the aisle and even then through the whole wedding (even when we had to change the outside venue to inside last minute because of a tropical storm). The venue is stunning, the food is fantastic, and the whole staff is nothing short of amazing. I have gotten so many compliments from guests at my wedding on how beautiful, clean, and perfect it was and how that was the best food they have ever gotten at a wedding! The Glen Abbey room was very spacious with wonderful views. The food was fabulous and the service excellent. Would definitely use this venue for any event needs!

The Golden Bear Club was a surprising venue to host our wedding. The price, compared to other venues around, is extremely reasonable and accommodating. In both beauty and satisfaction, they were able to suite all of my requests for what a venue should have for a total wedding experience. They boast wonderful and beautiful scenery, as reach of their staff are particularly polite. Their on-site chef made both the cocktail hour and dinner a magical experience. Savory dishes, as well as quite filling, they made sure to handle it all. Michelle, their wedding coordinator, blew me away on her professionalism and rapid response time to any of our questions. We held my husbands 60th birthday party at the Golden Bear Club in Keenes Pointe. We were very happy with how everything was arranged at the planning stage and beyond pleased with everything on the night. The food was delicious, the service incredible and the venue/location worked beautifully. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the GBC to anyone. They really do host events very, very well.
