  • Excellent service, responsive to every detail. The staff was fantastic, going above and beyond what was expected. I would highly recommend The Dunes for an event, especially weddings!!

  • The Dunes was the most perfect spot to have my wedding. The ceremony was by the lake, the reception was under the pavillion and we had an after party in the clubhouse. Dana helped plan everything out perfectly. The ceremony and reception were absolutely amazing and gorgeous!! Everyone had such a fun time. The chef is also phenomenal! I would highly recommend The Dunes Gulf & Tennis Club!

  • I can't say enough great things about The Dunes. I never imagined getting married at a golf course, but the venue had the perfect Florida feel despite not being on the beach. As the first large wedding they have hosted in several years, we were definitely starting with a blank canvas and they far exceed any expectation I had for our wedding. We had our reception under a tent right by the water and the team handled everything for us including tent rental, linens, tables and chairs, flatware, lighting, and all the extra goodies needed for our band. They helped us create an amazing flow from the cocktail hour to the reception. It was a hot day so guests still had the shade of the tent and the spot had a great breeze to cool everyone off. The food was incredible- a perfect mix of seafood and other options so guests got a great glimpse of Florida living but still had their comfort foods available.   • My wedding was absolutely perfect. It was everything I ever imagined. That being said, the Dunes and Dana Swanson were more than willing to comply with my needs including my allergies, my emotional support animal being present for the entire ceremony and reception, the specifics on the meals, the seating, and was flexible and understanding while we made our payments. That being in mind, I had to create my own decorations: all of them. The Dunes provided tables, chairs, linen and silverware: I did the rest. So if you are up for the challenge like I was, you can create your perfect wedding. It's a lot of work and most brides would probably not want to do it, but it was what I wanted and everything was exactly how I planned. Perfection. The only complaint was the selection of alcohol and the price we paid for an open bar: it seemed a bit high, especially since they wanted to close the open bar down before the reception ended when we paid for it to be open all night. Your creativity and personal touches made a beautiful impact on every part of your event from ceremony to reception! The Dunes strives to work within every bride's budget and offers many dinner and bar options to keep within that pricing. I apologize for any confusion concerning the 4 hour open bar package with a 1 hour cash bar chosen for your event. With a 5 hour time frame from the cocktail hour through the end of the reception, this package was chosen by the payer and outlined in the contract and confirmed the week prior to the wedding.   • They cater to you and your guest's needs! For example, my cousin is allergic to cilantro and had asked at the rehearsal dinner if any of the dishes had cilantro as an ingredient. They pointed out the items to her but the impressive thing was the next night at the reception the chef made a special plate for her without any cilantro. The staff is very creative and had many ideas for decorating, seating arrangements & food choices. Since we had both our rehearsal dinner and reception in the pavilion, we wanted to totally different looks and feel for the two nights. The first night we had a pig roast with more of a picnic type theme. Long tables lined up with black linens & pops of color, the buffet and lawn games were setup on the lawn, and festive music playing in the back ground. The night of the big event started with drinks and appetizers on the lawn and then we moved to the pavilion to which was transformed into an elegant venue!
