  • I would recommend the Crest Center & Pavilion to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding in Asheville. The venue was everything I could have ever wanted and more! The staff was so helpful and attentive through my planning process all the way up to the wedding day.

  • The Crest Center was the BEST venue for my wedding. The staff were extremely helpful and flexible. We used both the Pavillion (Ceremony & Reception) and the Crest center (Dinner) as well as the outdoor deck and lawn areas. The staff during dinner were very prompt with delivering the delicious food and refilling drinks. During the reception they were great in coordinating with the band for the special events (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc). The coordination with the sparkler send off went off perfectly! This venue was worth every penny!

  • We had to hire M7 Event Solutions three weeks before our wedding because our contracted caterer went out of business and we had 160 people attending our out of town wedding. Not only did M7 provide great service they did it under extreme circumstances. As if only having 3 weeks to prepare was not enough of a challenge for them, it rained all day at our outdoor wedding and tent reception. M7 had to track through mud and rain with plates and other dishes. I cannot say enough about how they went out of there way to not just serve food, but assist guests to avoid falls and cleaning up the dance floor periodically through the night. This was all well beyond our expectations. In hindsight it was a blessing to us that our other caterer was unable to perform because M7 went over and beyond to make our day special.

  • We were so pleased with both the planning and execution of our daughter's wedding. Our daughter works and lives out of town and we had just moved to Asheville; we found M7 very easy to work with - we mainly communicated by emails and phone calls. The outdoor setting is beautiful; we loved seeing guests wandering the property - down around the torch-lit fence in evening; everyone lraved about the some-mores around the campfire.

  • This is by far the best catering company you will find in the Asheville area. Fantastic people to work with (they make everything easy and enjoyable)! They also offer more than just catering, they can create and entire event for you (they have great contacts)!

  • Micah with M7 is a doll and dream to work with - always answered all of my questions and was extremely flexible and easy to work with. The cocktail hour food was fantastic! I would highly recommend going with the harvest table. The dinner food was not as good.

  • We got married at the Crest Center in August. The wedding site and reception were beautiful. The staff were kind and professional. We have no overall complaints about the wedding at all, which says a lot! The things I think they can improve on are: 1) communication pre-wedding. I know they do a lot of events but I was getting requests for guests list/dinner lists, etc in specific formats very close to my wedding. I already had this information compiled - and had to redo it because I did not know they needed a specific format. Not a huge deal but so close to the wedding, any small additional stress on a bride is a huge thing. While I did like our wedding coordinator for the day of, she had just returned from vacation and was a bit frazzled and not perfectly prepared for the day. The bridal party was getting ready/hanging out in a large bathroom before the ceremony. Unfortunately this was the same bathroom staff members were sending guests to pre-ceremony (even though there was... Read more

  • My husband and I planned a destination wedding at The Crest Pavilion and were very pleased with the service and venue. The views were great and we had everything we wanted. The only issue I would have liked to have more flexibility on would have been the option to have food catered but I understand that is how they make money. We would certainly recommend this vendor. They were very organized and did a great job planning and coordinating the wedding. We were so glad we chose a company with so much experience!

  • Jennifer King at the Crest Center and Pavilion was great to work with. I was planning our wedding from out of town and she was great to work with over email, phone, and in person. She gave us a lot of good ideas as far as decor and menu. We used the chef on staff to cater our reception and got a lot of good comments on the food. We also used Mrs. B for our wedding cake, which turned out even prettier than the picture I sent and tasted great too! I highly recommend the Pavilion to anyone getting married in Asheville!

  • We cannot say enough about the great people at Crest! They basically made the whole process of wedding planning (at least the reception) less painful! They responded within hours of my (many) emails or phone calls. They were willing to work with my budget and get us exactly what we wanted...the chef even created our own dish. The service that night was outstanding and our guests said that it was the most amazing place they had every seen for a wedding reception. The views were spectacular, the food was on the spot, the drinks were great, and i didn't have to worry about a singe thing that night because my bridal attendant took care of everything. I would absolutely recommend this place to someone looking for the best place to have a reception in asheville!

  • The Crest, while somewhat expensive, is extremely elegant and the food tastes wonderful. I've been to many weddings catered by the Crest & at each of them the food was fantastic!

  • Don't get me wrong...our wedding was gorgeous. It was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and the reception hall was exactly what we wanted. The problems arose in the people, not the venue itself. When we first came in the morning of my wedding, the tablecloths on the tables were horribly wrinkled. When we mentioned it, the woman said she didn't think she was supposed to iron them. Then she gave one of my sisters the iron, and they had to iron all the tablecloths!! Then later, when all of my groomsmen and (now) husband were standing at the gazebo waiting for us girls to come out, they were talking excitedly and the coordinator quickly hushed them. My husband said he felt insulted because it was his wedding, not a funeral, and he should be able to be excited. The Crest Center is a beautiful place, and if you go into it knowing how to handle the staff, then you might find that the experience is much more pleasant.

  • While the site is beautiful and we received nothing but compliments on our choice of venue, the price was not that great, they overcharge for a lot of items. They have their own catering, and the food was not that great, and you have to pay for the tasting as well. They do not allow you to bring in an outside catering company, but they do allow you to bring in other vendors. On the day of the wedding, they were not very helpful. We did have our own wedding director, but they also provided one as well who did not work well with ours. At the end of the night, their cleaning staff started throwing things away that belonged to us and our wedding planner. It was not worth the price we paid, but everyone did have a great time and the setting was gorgeous.
