  • This was the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. I found this venue on google maps of all places, and the website just drew me in, I just had to see it. We fell in love from day 1 of touring the venue. We visited many other venues and my then fiancé just knew that The Vineyards at Betty's Creek was our perfect setting! Everything your plans offered was top of the line! We successfully planned our wedding at The Vineyards at Betty's from 3.5hrs away and Tracy Brandes made everything so easy for us, she went beyond expectations to make me feel at ease on my wedding day! We are continuing to receive awesome feedback from our guests that our wedding was well worth the drive and over night stay!

  • The wedding (Aug 2016) at Betty's Creek was 5 star. The lodge, pavilion and beautiful grounds far exceeded our expectations. The whole experience was absolutely magical. Tracy, Betty's Creek manager, was a pleasure to work with. She anticipated our needs and solved minor challenges immediately. I would highly recommend this venue.

  • This venue was a dream. My fiance and I chose VBC because we were looking for a location that would allow us to have our families together in one place as we promised our lives to each other, as opposed to a one night party where not many people get the opportunity to interact. Not only did it give us that, but SO much more. The staff was incredible, the accommodations were comfortable and picturesque, and the wedding went off without a hitch. All of my guests left saying that it was the most beautiful venue they had ever been too. Couldn't have asked for a better backdrop for the most perfect day.

  • This venue provided the most breathtaking and magical wedding venue for my daughter and son in law. Julie is the venue manager and has been a delight to work with. She is organized, an experienced wedding planner and worked flawlessly with our Wedding Planner. Julie let us know early about the risks of having an outside ceremony. The fruitwood chairs are beautiful but not water resistant and needed to be covered during rain. Weather is uncontrollable so you have to plan for it. When we looked at the property, the pavilion had not yet been built. It turned out to be way better than what we expected and provided a perfect rain back up plan. We had a walk through three weeks prior to the wedding with Julie, our planner and the caterer. This was a perfect opportunity to nail down the details. On the day of the wedding, we were all caught up in the preparations but Julie was keeping her eye on the weather. Because she knew it was important to the couple to have an outside ceremony, s... • Look no further! The Vineyards at Betty's Creek is THE perfect magical place to get married! The grounds are breathtaking, their staff was gracious and professional. Julie was a JOY to work with through out the entire planning process. The weekend of the wedding she went above and beyond to always be right there when you needed her and helped in any and all ways possible. Her staff was also always right there when you needed them, always asking what they could do to help. This venue and its crew had been my best experience to work with thus far in my wedding planning career.

  • I can't say enough good things about The Vineyards at Betty's Creek & their venue manager, Julie Sylvester. We looked at a LOT of different venues in WNC, and none of the others came close to rivaling the picturesque views & rustically elegant buildings of VBC. I seriously wish I could live there! Every building on the property, from the event pavilion down to the groom's cottage, is decorated to perfection. The grounds are lush & green, with ponds & creeks running throughout & flowers everywhere. We got TONS compliments on the setting; everyone said that it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to and I promise you it had nothing to do with us or the decorations... it was definitely the beauty of the property & the fantastic view of the Smoky Mountains. I also have to mention the venue manager, Julie, who is FANTASTIC. When we booked they had not even broken ground on the event pavilion & normally I'd be wary of booking without seeing the event space, but after talking to J... Read more

Thank you Kristen for such kind words. All of us at VBC had a ball with you and Matt, your families and friends. It was so wonderful to watch the deep connections all of you had and how those connections created such a magical evening. You were all so gracious and so lovely to work with. It was a joy to be a part of your wedding day. All of us at VBC wish you and Matt and lifetime of happiness and fun times together always.

  • Despite the rain, this was the weekend picked right out of my dreams, I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue. We rented the vineyard for the weekend and held the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and Sunday brunch there and it was great! If you cater, go with Lulu's, you will be glad you did. If you are wanting rustic elegant mountain wedding just stop looking, this will beat the rest.

  • The vineyards were a breathtaking, picturesque place to get married!!! Not often does a location look better in person than the online photo. This place does! Julie, Peyton, Bobby and the entire team were fantastic. They thought of everything to make sure our special day was taken care of. The nearby town of Sylva was quaint and the vendors were so accommodating. Just the best destination wedding in the smoky mountains!

  • We got married at this venue and were amazed by its beauty and lush setting. We looked at over 40 venues in the area & this one was the best, had that mix of rustic elegance, nature, and the woodland forest feeling we wanted. It is pretty pricy for just a venue, but worth it if you want to splurge. It does come with dark farm tables and chairs, so that is is a plus. It also allowed for a lot of DIY touches, quite important to me. We stayed in the lodge overnight and our guests were happy. One odd thing is that guests need to park in a faraway lot vs the closest one, which was inconvenient. Luckily, the staff helped. It would've been nice to have basic necessities in fridge (bottled water, coffee, etc.), just less things to bring overall. There was yummy wine in honeymoon cottage, though. We booked without actually seeing the new wedding pavilion (still being constructed), but trusted it would be amazing - it truly was. The pavilion has an industrial, charming feel with large, new a... Read more

  • Absolutely the most beautiful venue in Western North Carolina! All of our guest were in love with the venue! With the beautiful views and grounds, you do not need much decorations at all. We were completely happy! I would recommend this wedding venue to everyone! If I were to use them again, I would talk before the wedding about a few glitches we ran into: We booked this venue over a year and a half in advance, and by the time we were getting ready to get married a few of the rules of the venue had changed. For example, we were told chairs would be provided, but as we got closer to our date we were told we would have to rent chairs for the site on the property we wanted to get married at. I also would recommend that the venue get bathrooms near the field wedding area. They were sending guest up to the room where I was getting ready before the ceremony to use the bathroom, which was not a big deal but its hard to get ready with guest coming in and out.

Thank you very much for your response, Megan! On behalf of The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek, we thank you for your compliments and your feedback. We apologize sincerely for the miscommunication regarding our house chairs on the grass areas, this is duly noted and we’ve taken steps to ensure this information is clear to all inquiring couples moving forward. As well, we too are aware and are work-shopping a long term solution for restroom closer to the Wedding Lawn area. In the immediate future we will be directing guests to the Grooms Cottage or to The Event Pavilion to ensure our bridal party isn’t disturbed. Thank you very much again for the feedback and for letting us be part of your special day!

  • Having Julie Sylvester as our planner was fantastic! I'd recommend using her as the day of planner if you can. The staff on the day of was extremely helpful, accommodating, and professional. Our wedding day ran so smoothly. Our friends and family had such a fabulous time at this venue, and the venue itself is stunning. I highly recommend The Vineyards at Betty's Creek!

  • I will start off by saying the beauty of the Vineyards at Bettys Creek is by far the most breathtaking of any venue I've ever visited. If I were to give a review just based on this fact, it would deserve a 5 star. We were very happy with our choice of picking this venue for our wedding based on the setting alone. That being said, if you are wanting a seamless experience with a professional team, they get one star and that it one too many. I work for a corporate business that caters to customer service and am still baffled at the poor running of this operation. The one key factor is that of the venue director Julie Sylvester. Julie in addition to being the director of the venue has her own wedding coordinating/planning business on the side and of course offers her services. The venue requires you to have a day of coordinator for your wedding day. I chose to use a recommendation from a friend on a different coordinator and because of this everything was a bumpy road. We hit a wall in alm... Read more

  • This is such a beautiful place, and we were so impressed when we booked it for our daughter's wedding. The day of the wedding was a nightmare. there were only two golf carts, and the staff did not have their act together. It rained just before the wedding was to start, which was outside, and the manager of the venue told us the chairs would have to be removed because they did not want them to get wet. Go figure, an outdoor wedding and the chairs were not waterproof. people had to walk downhill from the venue to get to the ceremony because of the lack of enough carts to transport them. None of the TV's in the overnight facilities worked. The kitchen was not supplied according to the brochure stated. We were very disappointed and embarrassed that our guests were inconvenienced. If you plan to rent this facility, I would suggest you get every agreement in writing.
