They really make you feel special and beautiful. I love that they only book one bride at a time. The girls working the store are just great too. I absolutely loved loved loved my dress and felt so great in it. It's definitely worth booking an appointment to see what they have.

My dress was amazing! And it was even better after it was altered by Emily! It wasn't cheap, but it turned out absolutely perfect. They have discounts if you mention yelp or the knot coupons.

I found the dress in The Bustle in Del Mar. I had a hard time finding the perfect dress. I wanted a wedding dress that I wouldn't be making any alterations because of our tide budget. My wedding dress was perfect. It arrived on time. On my wedding day I received many compliments. Everyone was taking pictures when I was walking on the aisle with my father. :)!!! My husband loved my dress. :)!! I wanted to thank The Bustle for helping me to find the perfect wedding dress :)!

This is an adorable store in Del Mar, that is for brides only. When you set up your appointment they close the store for one bride at a time and write your name on a chalk board to welcome you. It makes the experience feel very personal and special. I found a beautiful dress that I absolutely loved and they were able to get everything done within the timeline and I had nothing to stress about the entire time. Highly reccomend looking for your wedding dress at this adorable shop. All of the girls are very friendly and helpful!! Great Experience that I will remember for the rest of my life! :)

After watching one too many “wedding dress shows” I had my doubts about going dress shopping! But I made an appointment at The Bustle and figured it was a good place to start (I really liked how they listed their price range). The minute I saw the cute little sign outside the store welcoming “Our bride to be… (me)” I knew it was the best place! The store is adorable, clean, and just makes you feel good. My appointment was with Emily Foster – and she is amazing! She listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to push dresses on me. I did try on one dress that was over my budget, but she shared that with me right away before even letting me try it on. The entire experience was wonderful. Although I tried on several dresses – I fell in love with the very first one I tried on- in my opinion- that means Emily actually knows what she is doing. It was a wonderful experience and they made me feel very special. The boutique is in a beautiful, light and airy location in Del Mar, and they had a wide selection of dresses, veils and headbands.

The bustle was great. They opened the shop just for me. They made the experience just wonderful....every time I was in.....the first time and all my fittings :) They were so helpful and weren't pushy. Because I bought off the rack, I got a good price. They also offer makeup and hair services....great idea! During my practice run she listened to me and tried different colors. She knew if there was something I didn't like and she took it off and re-applied without a blink. She was great and easy to get along with. She also came to my hotel before the wedding. The Bustle was an unexpected diamond in the ruff when I was searching for dresses. I was hunting all over and calling major dress shops throughout southern CA when I stumbled on the Bustle. I called and they did not have the exact dress I thought I wanted (but they carried the designer) and I went in anyway on a whim. I ended up not only finding something that was a better fit for me, but I am thrilled that I did a 180 on my dress silhouette. The staff bent over backwards to make sure every bead was in it's place up until the wedding day! Emily was my personal helper and made me very comfortable with my fittings. They were so accommodating and I wish I could do it all over again!

I have some great things, and some horrible things to say about this vendor. First, the good - the dress shop. This is a CUTE boutique shop! They have a selection of such beautiful gowns. I can't tell you - how many people are still raving about my dress weeks later! It was unforgettable. They have some beautiful veils and hair pieces too. They are a bit pricey, but I also picked the second most expensive dress in the store - the first dress I tried on. It was about $3000. I received a discount for buying the dress on my first visit, so that was nice. I think normally they would offer you champagne when you purchase the dress, but I brought about 6 people with me, and they didn't... that was kind of a bummer. The girls in the dress shop are so nice and sweet too. The shop hones on providing all services - attire and beauty. I did NOT go with their hair/makeup services, because I read reviews on Google that they were a bit pricey for not being great quality. Now the bad ... Read more- the alterations. The Bustle has a second shop (2 doors over), equally cute, where they do alterations. When my dress arrived (earlier than they said), I swore it was not the same color as the dress I tried on - that it was more Ivory (yellow), than "Candlelight" (more buttery white in my opinion)... but it was ok. The first few alterations were amazing - I had a mermaid type dress, but wanted the leg band at my hips instead of down my thigh. There were a few big moves, and the initial alterations were great. The problem came with fine tuning to make it really fit the way I wanted it too. I think you should only have about 4 alteration appointments, and I think I had 8... the last one being a week before the wedding, I was stressed, livid, and left unhappy. My last 4 appointments I repeatedly said the bodice was too big and falling down, and I need the skirt bustle to be really short - almost not touching, because I am a ballroom dancer. Every time I came back, I felt like nothing had changed, or it was changed enough. The bodice fabric started stretching weird.... it was a nightmare. The day of my wedding, I had a family friend put 20 safety pins in my dress to bustle it the way I wanted - I don't understand why it was so hard for the seamstress to do what I asked her to do several times. In all, I love the shop. I would recommend getting your dress there. I would NOT recommend using their other services. It was easy that they were collaborating, but I would not wish anyone the extreme stress and tears I had over my alterations experience.

I had a wonderful experience buying my dress at The Bustle. It was the first place I tried dresses so I wanted to try a few other places in San Diego so I could see what else was out there. I love the one on one attention you receive and that the store is basically yours during your appointment. I found the owner, Alison, to be friendly, attentive and my parents and I left the other dress stores commenting how none of the other places seemed to compare to The Bustle. My bridesmaids and I also had our hair/makeup done and we all loved the end product. Katrina did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and I felt beautiful!

I picked this shop by chance, and it was really my day of luck! The dress was really beautiful and worth the price, the service professional and nice, and the adjustments were done quickly and nicely - all I could wish for! I would certainly recommend to anyone! Thank you again!
