  • Our wedding at the Arbors was so beautiful and guests gave us so many great compliments all night. The only complaint that I have is that the event coordinator that took over at the end of the night was not personable or helpful. I wish the event planner that we worked with the whole time was who was there all night. Overall we definitely recommend this place. Such a breathtaking setting.

  • The Arbors main site venue was GORGOUS for my fall wedding!!! The option to book for the weekend and use the guest house is definately the way to go!!! That is what sold us. We were able to have our rehersal dinner on site the day before, being on site made it super easy to set up what we could the night before and the bridesmaids stayed with me (the bride) in the guest house after to help set up and have a girls night the night before the wedding. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. It was perfect and very convenient. There is also an awesome "man cave" in the house on the bottom floor for the guys to get ready the day of! Paying the extra to have the venue coordinate with the venue staff and vendors that weekend is for sure worth it...but note they are not wedding planners give them ALL detail you need them to know and stay on top of it but for sure worth paying the extra for day of venue coordinator. You cant beat the procession path it is so beautiful coming out of the ... Read more

  • The Arbors was the most beautiful venue we visited & we are so happy we had our wedding there. Lynsey the staff member we worked with was absolutely amazing, very responsive (even throughout her maternity leave), and flexible. The grounds & both sites (we had our ceremony in the pavilion & reception in the main) were absolutely beautiful! We highly recommend the Arbors to anyone wanting a truly unique venue that isn't cookie cutter at all!

  • I had my wedding at the Arbors in August. Lynsey was wonderful to work with and did everything in her power to make our day perfect. The venue is one of the prettiest I've seen and I had several people say it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! What an honor! I know it was because Jesus was glorified, but the venue certainly helped with the beauty! Definitely suggests looking here!

  • From the time we stepped foot on the property until all the chairs were put away after the ceremony, we were in awe at THE ARBORS EVENTS. Our daughter, Natalie always wanted an outdoor wedding and The Arbors was everything she had dreamed of. The house, the lake, the grounds and the entire place is absolutely breath taking!! It was hot, no doubt but her 8-7-11 wedding, was so gorgeous! Cooke Rentals were courteous and helpful and they have everything including those ceiling fans that helped cool down the reception. Brian, the owner, is wonderful. He is knowledgable but most of all he is sweet and friendly and we found The Arbors to be reasonably priced which was great. The on site wedding planner , Lauren Lomax, is fantastic!! We loved her! She is there either to help you via phone or text with every issue that you can imagine and she really puts her heart into it. She does such a fantastic job and encourages you along the way. You can ... on the property until all the chairs were put ... Read more

  • This venue is so BEAUTIFUL! We visited one other venue before The Arbors and as soon as we parked our car, we knew this was our wedding venue. Brian gave us the tour of both venues and was so friendly and provided such great break down of the costs and the available dates. This is the most gorgeous venue I have ever visited and it was winter time! We quickly became close with Brian's staff who made the planning process so easy. They are very experienced with floor layouts for the reception and provide really nice options for décor and ceremony options. The wedding day itself was absolutely exquisite! The weather was so beautiful and perfect for a June day! We rented the cabin for our groomsmen to hangout in for the day until the ceremony. That was such a great option and the guys really enjoyed hanging out over the water (it also ensured that all the groomsmen and the groom were on-time). We had an Arbors representative/coordinator there to help facilitate, and boy did she do amazing!... Read more

  • When touring different venues with our daughter to find the right place, we knew we'd found it when we visited The Arbors Events in Cleveland. After that, nothing compared. There are even two sites from which to chose once you pick The Arbors. We chose the pavilion. The grounds are kept very nice as well as the facility. We rented the pews to make an outdoor chapel and it was beautiful with the arbor covered with flowers and pond as a backdrop. The weather was iffy, but the day turned out to be lovely. We were not worried though since there is a back up plan to hold the ceremony in the reception hall. Lynsey was wonderful. We highly recommend the day of coordination. She handled the wedding party and line up AND she and the vendors worked so well together. Everything went smoothly and we had no hitches. If we did, they were solved without us even being aware. The guests had fun playing the games we brought on the fenced in lawn. It was just the perfect entertainment for ch... Read more

  • I am a former winter bride and had my reception at the main site. From beginning until the end the entire planning process was a piece of cake! Words of advice for future brides, be sure to use their preferred vendors. This alleviates much of the common stresses of planning your wedding. These vendors spend much of their time there and it shows. I also encourage the brides to take advantage of the beautiful in-house rentals items they offer. It is so convenient to have them do the setup and you also don't have to worry about transporting boxes and boxes of decorations because they do the setup for you! Brian and his staff were very helpful and friendly!! If you haven't been to The Arbors, you need to schedule a tour and see for yourself! Every season is beautiful in its own special way. You can't go wrong with The Arbors!!!

  • The Arbors was the absolute dream venue for our wedding and working with Brian and Brandy for the coordination services was fantastic. They made every effort to make sure our wedding weekend was perfect and it was! The venue is just gorgeous and all of our guests can't stop talking about how great our venue was. Memories for the rest of our lives were made here and we couldn't recommend it more highly!

  • We had our December wedding at the Arbors and enjoyed every minute of it. The weather did not cooperate, so we had to have the ceremony inside at the last minute. The venue is beautiful, and I definitely recommend renting the main site for the entire weekend, if budget allows. That gives you plenty of time to set up/have rehearsal on Friday and you can stay the night in the beautiful house Saturday. We worked with Brian, Lynsey, and Kim, all who were helpful and responsive. You do have to use preferred vendors for catering and the bar service...but both know the venue well and makes for easy planning. I have 4.5 stars on value because it is very expensive, and depending on the size of your wedding, linens, chairs and other rentals do add up. Would definitely do it all again!

  • I loved having my wedding here. Lynsey, was also my day of coordinator and she was great. The only criticism I give is that the grounds could've been cleaned up a bit more. Otherwise, this is a great place for a wedding. You have to use some of their vendors, but they were fantastic vendors so I have no complaints.

  • The Arbors is a beautiful place but it severely lacks customer care.Three weeks prior to my daughter's wedding at our final meeting, I asked that the DEAD plants be cut back and the WEEDS removed along the walkway to the ceremony site and around the ceremony site. I am well aware this is a tree farm. It is also an event venue with specifically designated areas for weddings. The Coordinator agreed my request was not unreasonable and I did not ask that the entire property be "manicured". Upon our arrival for the weekend, my request had been ignored. The weeds/dead plants were not removed from the ceremony site, the ice maker in the kitchen at the "Main Site" was broken so we had no ice. The house had three televisions of which NONE of them would even turn on. The house accommodates eight guest and may have had three or four towels/wash cloths provided. When I rent a facility, I expect linens, towels, wash cloths, etc. to be provided unless informed differently. When I asked about... Read more

It is sad the Mrs. Laws has taken the stance that she has. She has allowed her compulsion for perfection to ruin what most people would consider unrecognizable. We feel bad for her daughter in this situation as she is the one who had chosen The Arbors for what she expected to be a joyous occasion. We are in fact a 112 acre tree farm that became a beautiful Wedding Venue in 2010. Brian (the owner) was a landscape contractor for 22 years prior to entering the wedding industry and has created a venue like no other in the region. At The Arbors, you will find 112 acres of various types of terrain and landscapes. Manicured lawns, 40+ acres of planted trees, perennial gardens, wildflower fields, sunflower fields, pasture land, wooded areas and three ponds. Within some of those areas you might find some weeds but NOT around the walkways, buildings or the ceremony areas. Mrs. Laws demanded that we cut back all of our perennial flowers prior to their arrival for their daughters wedding insisting that they were "WEEDS". We have several thousand perennial flowers planted around the property which lends to the natural beauty of the property especially around the buildings and ceremony areas. In late fall (November) after the seeds have matured and dried, we harvest seeds produced from these perennial flowers and distribute them in other areas of the property to create larger wildflower fields and add color where there wasn't any the year before. On the day of her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Laws began pulling out Iris plants and other perennial flowers (roots and all) around the property and shouted at Arbors staff stating that they were "WEEDS" and should have been removed when she asked the first time. She was upset that her demand to remove them was not honored. After the wedding, Mrs. Laws insisted that she receive a $500 refund because she was "embarrassed" by the perennial flowers. Again, this demand was denied and here we are responding on this site.

  • GORGEOUS, gorgeous > The Main House is flawless and we knew within 15 minutes of touring that we HAD to HAVE our wedding there. It's perfect for an outdoor wedding & indoor reception with great amenities and is really nice overall. The stone bars/fireplaces really add to the aesthetics. It is somewhat rustic, but definitely has a modern twist where it doesn't scream rustic. Our photos/videos came out so so great and our wedding guests were so amazed with the venue. The lake in the back is perfect for your guests to take pictures in front of. They will have a great time, as did ours. We couldn't have chosen a better place to get married. The 411 > We also hired their coordinator to be our 'month-of/day-of coordinator'. It was about $500+ cheaper than going through an external party but we did have a few hiccups. First, the original girl left so we had a replacement (Joetta) a few months out. We eventually got used to the idea (or, had to contractually), but sometimes it felt lik... Read more

  • From the moment we seen the ceremony/reception spots and also the amazing grounds we fell in love and knew that The Arbors would be our wedding venue. Everything at The Arbors was perfect for what we were looking for. The bridal suite is awesome and big enough for a good size bridal party to get ready in. We chose the pavilion site to have a ceremony and reception and I loved that fact that you get a choice of two ceremony spots. We chose the lower site and the walk from the building down there is awesome! The only negative comment I have is that the day of our wedding someone on staff was supposed to come down and light the outside fire pits after the ceremony for the reception and we never saw anyone from the staff that day until the end of the reception when the lady came to lock it up. Otherwise everything else was perfect.
