  • We were initially very excited to work with Savvy to rent the majority of our chairs, plates, and flatware, along with a bar and several cocktail barrels. The day before our wedding, Savvy’s delivery truck brought most of our items, but the bar and cocktail barrels were not there. We had not heard from them about any issues or information about a separate delivery for those missing items. Our wedding coordinator attempted to get in touch with them multiple ways to find out what was going on (phone, email, Facebook, Instagram). She finally heard back from them and all they had to say was that they couldn't deliver our items because of internal issues and they could issue us a refund. This did not help us the day before our wedding and also was not an adequate explanation. The morning of our wedding, our venue sent its own truck and employee to try to pick up the items from Savvy, as they had told us the issue was simply that they could not deliver the items.   • We used Savvy Event Rentals for our wedding and they were great! They were so flexible with us when we needed to add things last minute and were even willing to hold a tent for us with a low deposit so that we could make a weather-based decision closer to the day-of! They were always very responsible and got back to me quickly when I had questions. They were even flexible with the drop-off and pick-up and let our venue take care of all that. 10/10 would recommend!

  • We had a great experience working with Savvy for our wedding rentals. They were easy to work with and quick to respond to all of our questions. They accommodated our special delivery requests, and we especially loved the farm tables and wooden cocktail tables that we rented from them, which were nicer than we were able to find anywhere else in southern Maine. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend renting from Savvy!

  • We recently used Savvy Event Rental for our wedding in Ogunquit, Maine. They provided a beautiful tent and dance floor and everything else we needed to throw a great reception. The quality of the rental equipment was impressive. Haylee Munson helped us through the entire process making everything so easy for us. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The Savvy teem was fast and professional with set up and break down. Thank you so much for making our wedding run so smoothly. We highly recommend them for any event!

  • Incredibly professional and understanding when I had questions or changes. We forgot to add the sweetheart table to our rental order and they made sure to remind us to also order the table linens and everything that goes with that addition. That's what you need when you're planning a wedding a la carte like we did.

  • Renting linen through Savvy was a positive experience. Although they do not typically carry the linen needed for my event, they were able to get the size and color linens I was hoping to use for my event. The staff was friendly and professional. We were able to communicate through email, which made it easier to plan a wedding in York, while living in Augusta.

  • We had a great experience working with Savvy for our wedding! We first started working with them when they were originally Party Plus. As they transitioned into Savvy the quality of service did not change and remained absolutely amazing. Kelsey was so helpful and responsive to all of my questions. We got all of our rentals through them with the exception of linens and flatware/silverware since my caterer took care of that, but we totally could have gotten it through them! The 120 x 40 high pole tent looked so good at our venue if you are having a large wedding (170-200). We highly recommend SAVVY for your rental needs no matter what event. Next time we need rentals we will definitely be going back to them! Thank you Kelsey for all of your hard work!

  • I can't say enough wonderful things about Savvy Event Rental. Kelsey, a customer service representitive was incredible! She made a personal connection quickly and became one of my favorite vendors right away. Savvy was quick, efficient, professional, and was able to accommodate a last minute request for the wedding only days before the event. I would hire them 10x over.

  • They were great to work with leading up to our wedding, but horrible on the follow through. Delivered our rentals a day late and incomplete. They were also late on the pick up. Typically not a big deal, but we had to use another company to get last minute items, and when you have a venue contacting you during a honeymoon, the last thing you want to deal with is the incompetence the company's logistic team.

  • The wonderful employees at Savvy were very helpful. I had no idea what I wanted and they helped me throughout the entire process, right up until a day or two before my wedding. They were flexible when there was a mistake with the venue and the quality of the materials provided was fantastic! Everything was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Perfect!

  • At the beginning working with this vendor was smooth without any complaints. However, leading up to our wedding unfortunately our experience changed for the worst. Setting up both delivery and pick up time for our wedding rentals was extremely unorganized and stressful. We were given a delivery and pick up time between 8-10:30 am, which worked perfect for our plans for both days. However, the day of delivery there was a huge lack of communication and uncertainty on what was going on. One representative from the company called stating the delivery would be late and would not be there until 12:30-1:00. She stated some of the rentals were not on the truck; therefore they had to turn back around and pick them up. Okay, frustrating but no problem. However, when the delivery finally ended up arriving at 1:45-2:00, the gentleman told my husband that the truck broke down. While we try our best to offer estimated delivery windows, at times unforeseen delays do occur. However, we do not intend to inconvenience anyone as they are busy preparing for their big day! We have had a truck in and out of the shop this summer with difficulty determining what was causing the breakdowns, but again we are very sorry for the trouble.   • We loved the white resin chairs that we rented! They were perfect for our event. This company was extremely flexible and available via phone and/or email. When we received our chair delivery, there were some that were scuffed and marks that couldn't come out. I reached out to Savvy Event Rental and we were delivered 25 chairs to replace those that weren't to our liking - we were extremely surprised by their quick response and how fast they acted to accommodate our request. We loved working with Savvy and recommend this company to anyone hosting an event. We will definitely be using them in the future!

  • Working with Andrea and Kelsey was great. There were a few last minute hiccups with the tent pick-up but we managed to find a solution that worked for everyone. The tents are reasonably priced in comparison to some that you find in the area and they broke everything down on the invoice, so it was clear as to what we were paying for. We would use them again.
