Cake was excellent and company was very easy to get ahold of when I needed to speak with her. Grooms cake was especially excellent and everyone couldn't stop talking about how amazing it looked

I hired Daisy with Sweet Architectures of SA as my wedding planner, referred her to me. I was left short on her delivery. The cake was leaning to one side before the ceremony (probably b/c of her bad cake stands) and my cake topper kept falling off the top tier. The cake's decorations, while very nice, were just too sparse to have any impact on the overall look of the cake. My wedding planner suggested I rush to cut the cake before the whole cake falls over but I was too embarassed and angry to have my guests see that disaster. On top of that, the cake wasn't the correct flavoring I requested and was very dry (the other cake never retained its form when served to my guests and just crumpled on the plate). When inquiring with Daisy, she never once addressed the flavoring issue and refused to give me any portion of my money back. We were accused of lying to her and told to deal with her lawyer. I lost that special moment of my wedding and hope others do not have to go through this eith... Read moreer. Please reconsider before giving this 'baker' your money. This is a special moment in your wedding and you do not want to place that trust with just anyone like I did.

I, as well as my wedding planner, contacted Daisy in an attempt to try to settle the situation but she never responded to my nor my wedding planner's emails. She has since been removed from my wedding planner's list as a preferred vendor. Also, I posted a review of Daisy's cake on weddingbee.com and was contacted by another bride that actually paid her almost 3 times what I paid her. She too said there was a problem with the cake leaning to one side as well as the cake coming out dry. I'm guessing I am NOT the first bride to have this issue. If brides want to take a gamble and give this woman your money, that is completely up to you. I am trying to prevent anyone from being very disappointed and lose money like I did.

I think you could have handled this situation on a more professional way. The reason I contacted a lawyer was because you told your wedding planner that if I did not give you 100% refund you would contact your lawyer, so I went ahead and contacted mine. Can you blame me? I also told your wedding planner why if the cake according to her was leaning why didn’t your wedding planner called me????? Is that not her responsibility if anything goes wrong with any of the vendors? As soon as your wedding planner noticed the cake leaning I think it was her responsibility to call me. Don’t you think? (I would have come and fix it with no problem, and avoid all this.) I received an e-mail on facebook at 11:30pm from your wedding planner telling what happen. I was in disbelief! That she waited that long to contact me, but she told me her phone was not working. She could have borrowed yours or someone if she really wanted. Don’t you think? Did your wedding planner tell you that I had suggested to her that I would give you a % back based on the damage of the cake along with a smaller version of your cake with fall decoration at no charge for you to be able to take those pictures? She told me you would not accept that. You wanted the money. I have attached picture of your wedding cake hare under Natasha Yuan wedding cake for people to see. If you are still interested in handling this situation in a diferent way I would be more than happy to do so.
