  • We had our wedding at the Stone House in June. I can't say enough good things about our wedding day. Everything from the service to the food to the ambiance was amazing. Everyone that attended our wedding tells us that it was the best wedding they ever went to and people still rave about the food! I would recommend having an event to anyone at the Stone House. You won't be disappointed!

  • My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ. The experience was absolutely perfect! We worked with Patricia Banks in the months leading up the reception and she was very helpful with sound advice on everything from the food to the centerpiece layout. On the evening of the reception our MC, Frank, and his wife Mercedes, took excellent care of us. They kept our wedding party organized and in the right place at the right time. Mercedes, who was Kristin’s bridal attendant, made sure that we got to taste all of the excellent food and had fresh drinks in our hands all evening. The quality and taste of the food was truly 5 star. We received many compliments during the reception on how great the food was and how elegant the presentation was. The Stone House has multiple gluten free options on the standard menu, so accommodating relatives with food allergies was very simple. Later in the evening we got to take advantage of the patio a... • The Stone House is absolutely gorgeous: the main ballroom is elegant and not your average "wedding reception factory". The cocktail hour space is quite special as well - rustic and big enough for guests to be comfortable. The Stone House offers a Bridal area upstairs as well: private restroom/powderroom and a space to get away from all the madness of the reception, if need be. The grounds are GORGEOUS! There's an area set back from the actual restaurant with vintage-y mirrors hung on fences and trees as well as tented areas (for lack of a better word) so there are a lot of cool photo ops. The food was absolutely delish!!!! I can't say enough about this place. We really lucked out with all of our vendors. I must say that the best part of the Stone House experience was the Wedding Coordinator..TWO WORDS: CARISSA DEMARCO! She's amazing :) She knows how to handle moms too haha. I would recommend this place for sure.

  • I've heard that it's extremely difficult to find a venue for an intimate wedding (less than 70 people). I feel so fortunate to have found the Stone House at Stirling Ridge and Amy LaRochelle. Amy gave the kind of care, support and attention one would expect for a much larger affair. She was responsive to all my questions and even answered my email on the weekends. She gave great advice and found me the most amazing cake for my wedding. No matter the budget or size the team at the Stone House is amazing at giving their all on your special day. The wait staff was on top of everything and were with us from the beginning to the end. It was perfect! We had a wonderful wedding.

  • My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge this past September. Our experience was fantastic. First off, the building is beautiful – modern and sophisticated – so UNlike those typical wedding venues with ugly floral carpets and princessy décor. I highly recommend checking it out in person, even the beautiful photos online don’t do it justice. There are lots of great places to take pictures featuring the cool architecture and design elements in the outdoor areas, and lots of natural beauty from the wooded surroundings. Our reception was in the ballroom, and we had access to the outside wrap around patio with fountain, fire pits, seating areas, etc. for the whole night. Our guests had tons of space to move about, dance, hang out at the bar, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, have a cordial or cigar at the cigar bar… it was a party atmosphere and lots of guests told us it was the most fun they’d had at a wedding reception. • The staff at Stone House is incredible. They will go above and beyond to help out in any way. Special thanks to Carissa, Frank and Mercedes! They did everything in their power to help our wedding go as smoothly as it did. Anything we needed... they found a way to get it done! They actually somehow found a keyboard for our ceremony an hour before... outstanding service! The food is delicious and so beautifully presented. We are still hearing from our guests about how yummy the food was and how full their stomachs were. They had so many different station options and add ons available. Like a slider station or smore's station over their fire pit. The ceremony area is perfect for an outdoor wedding. The seating area is covered so there is no need to worry about rain or too much sun. The guests enjoyed the beautiful outside patio and indoor lounge areas for cocktail hour. The ballroom is clean and modern but with a warm touch. We loved that it DID NOT look like a typical dingy wedding... Read more

  • The Stone House was THE perfect setting for our winter wedding. The cozy yet modern design gives off the feel of a Frank Lloyd Wright designed ski-lodge. The food and service are superior to ALL venues in the area. They have a fantastic restaurant and bar...I suggest you go for dinner and see it for yourself...my words will not do it justice. If the event space is not in use, they are very flexible in allowing you to tour the ballroom and cocktail area. It's costly, but worth it! I had, and still have, people telling me it was the best wedding they ever attended!! To Carissa, Frank, and Mercedes : THANK YOU!!!!

  • John & Kristin Ciorra November 6, 2010 Amazing! Simply, positively AMAZING! We began our Stone House wedding planning process with Rebecca, who was wonderful and so incredibly in touch with what we wanted, but unexpectedly and abruptly resigned a few months before our event was finalized and set to occur. We were extremely nervous about who would take over and whether they would stick to all that we were promised, since many things were not stated in the contract but agreed upon in person. After a couple of weeks of slight turmoil due to the transition from Rebecca to a new event coordinator, Carissa took over. Upon finding out that Carissa was our new event coordinator, we met with her in person and sat down with her and Frank, our Maitre De, to go over our dreams, wishes and expectations for our wedding day. They assured us that our every dream would come true and were kind enough to introduce us to the owner of Stone House, Jeanne, who provided us with her card and told us to pe... Read more

  • We decided to have our ceremony and dinner reception at the Stone house because it is a beautiful location and the Townhouse was perfect for our intimate wedding of 20. Our initial meeting with Amy went well however, the fact that she didn’t write anything down worried us. Amy took weeks to return phone calls and emails. I decided to call after a week had passed and she hadn’t responded. Much to my dismay Amy was no longer with the company and NO ONE bothered to give me a call to inform me of the change in personnel, much less inform me of who would be working with me going forward. I was told John would be working with us and when my fiancé and I went to meet with John he informed us that Kim would be working with us instead. Two weeks before our wedding I called to go over the final details and AGAIN the person I was working with was gone! I was outraged at the lack of professionalism!! I finally met with the Manager Patricia and the new person Ina. After my meeting wit... Read more

  • Planning our wedding at the Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge was the best choice we could have made. The setting alone made our winter wedding perfect. Our pictures came out great because of the beautiful interior as well as the little nooks and corners outside. Aurora and her team put my mind at ease the entire year of planning and on the day of Mercedes was a very attentive bridal attendant. All our guests commented on how great the food was, everything from cocktail hour all the way to the s'mores station out by the fire pits. Everything was perfect.

  • We actually got married at the Stone House, in Warren, NJ but they're not listed here. I know the Liberty House and the Stone House are owned by the same company, Landmark Hospitality. Anyway, we had several things go wrong for our wedding but everyone had a great time. I guess you can never do enough planning to make sure everyone does their job! We got married outside and they messed up the lighting, my bridal attendant was not helpful, and there were lines at the bar because they only had one bartender instead of the 2 that were promised. Just make sure you get everything in writing and put someone in charge of taking care of issues since you'll be too busy to take the time to do anything on your wedding day.
