We greatly enjoyed working with Montana. She was very helpful in assisting and making suggestions to help us find the words that we wanted to capture in the ceremony. We love to travel, and she worked with us to include our engraved compass in the ceremony as well. I also took notice that she listened very closing during our face to face meeting. I found that to be true in things she captured to use in the ceremony. On a side note, she is also very flexible. We wanted to be married in our home and during the ceremony Montana did not mind at all that our dog sat at her feet. She's wonderful.

Montana is amazing! The first time we met her, we knew that she was going to be our officiant. She is very good at communicating and prompt when responding to e-mails. Montana is there for any suggestions regarding anything throughout the ceremony. She even provided names of vendors when I needed help finding people. So many of our wedding guests commented on how unique and personalized our ceremony was. Would HIGHLY recommend Montana!

Montana was very efficient in helping us organize and plan our ceremony. We roughly had 3 weeks to complete everything (a very short deadline) and she was fantastic in helping with the process. Also, something important for us, Montana was incredibly knowledgeable about numerous religious and non religious practices for the wedding. We had a beautiful handfasting done and overall could not have been more happy with the process. She made it a breeze!

Montana exceeded all of our expectations!!! From our very first meeting with her we could tell she took her responsibility as a celebrant very seriously. She went very in depth with her questions about us as a couple so she could create the perfect ceremony. She has such a warm and kind personality that it was very easy to open up to her about ourselves. She basically gave us a list of questions to answer about us - how we met, what we love about each other, questions about our families and also what we wanted out of our ceremony. She knows her stuff because she asked us questions that we would not have even thought about but that really came in handy when it came to planning our ceremony. Everything went very smoothly with writing the ceremony and she always responded very quickly if we sent her an email about little details we wanted to add. She made everything so easy!!! she even gave us lists of possible rituals, poems and music to use just to give us some ideas. We loved that she was able to give us a draft to work with, but made sure that everything was tailored to us as a couple. The ceremony wasn’t cookie cutter and really felt like someone who had known us for years had written it. We loved our wedding and having her perform the ceremony was definitely one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Everyone who attended our wedding said it was a beautiful ceremony. WE LOVED MONTANA. I met her at a bridal event in Elkhart :) I walked up to look at her table, and from the conversation there, I was so excited. Every other vendor was pushy and in your face, but she was like a nice quiet, happy retreat to rest. At first we were nervous because we had the option to spend next to nothing to get someone to marry us. But when we sat down with her, she just felt like family to me (my husband would never say that). I honestly would have loved to spend a day with her. I cannot say enough positive words about her. It made me feel that more people should be like this woman. There was never an ounce of judgement, or unprofessionalism. As a bride, finding the right people, decorations, venue, dress, etc is stressful! Not only did Montana help us write our vows, she wrote the best, funniest, heartfelt ceremony we could have asked for. The ceremony was still so warm, and looking back and thinking about why, and how that was... it was Tom and I. That was OUR love story, and it was all real and fun. She was SO supportive in every aspect. My dad and the rest of my family don't get along well, and he's not easy to deal with. But she shared stories of her personal life with me that made me feel that I was not alone. She asked questions that made us THINK about each other. And for us (after 8 years), it was nice to remind ourselves and each other that we love so deeply that sometimes we take things for granted. I HIGHLY recommend Montana for your wedding day, if you are looking for a sweet, favorite-aunt, warm person to guide you through your ceremony. I can't recommend Montana enough. Our first meeting with her was so special and we could tell she was the perfect person to perform our ceremony. She really gets into the special details that make a ceremony magical, which is exactly what we wanted. When we joked about having an owl bring our rings in, she took us seriously and went above and beyond and found a falconer for us! She researched and provided a myriad of options for different traditions that related to each of our cultures, and then helped us make them our own. Her love and positive energy was such a gift to me on the day of the wedding, and really allowed me to relax, enjoy and take everything in. We received so many compliments from our guests about the ceremony and how much they learned about us! If you want a uniquely personal ceremony filled with love and light, you want Montana!

We met Montana from Spellbound Ceremonies at an expo and were instantly taken with her ideas and her zeal for delivering a quality service. Our ceremony was entirely unique, our guests complimented us on how intimate it felt, and our every expectation was met by Spellbound Ceremonies. Both my husband and I feel we've gained a friend through our experience and many of the best memories.

The ceremony was beautiful, heartfealt and enjoyed by everyone no matter their religious affiliation. In our family, it is sometimes difficult to meet traditional expectations and younger expectations, but this group did an exceptional job of blending both and creating a warm and loving experience for everyone.

Worse part of the wedding planning experience. Seemed fine at first but as soon as she got her full payment she started acting odd. Says she making a custom ceremony but its more like a plagiarized mad lib with answers directly from a 65 question paper she gives you to answer. Tired to charge extra money after a already outrageous price. She sells herself as a poet but I got scam artist who says she doesn't believe is marriage.

Montana sent us questions to answer about each other so she could create a "custom script" for us. When we received the first draft, we were a bit disappointed. It seemed like she plugged our answers - word for word - into a script that seemed premade. There were even other peoples names listed on it - I assume from the wedding she used it for last. We had already paid a non-refundable deposit so we sat and reworded a bunch of it to make it sound better.. which is what I thought I was paying her for.. Once we paid in full with her - the whole vibe changed. She ended up asking for $100 more from us because my fiance had not given her his vows yet.. which is not something she is writing or saying- so I do not understand why she needs it? She would not perform the ceremony without the additional funds - I have already given this woman $500 for this headache. I had to let her go and my wedding is in two weeks and my money is lost.
