Stacy was incredible. I was looking for a day of coordinater for our park ceremony and backyard reception to help tie all the loose ends together and booking Stacy gave me all that and more. She caught little things in our plans to touch up, gave great advice on some of the tricky details and was a calming positive voice when it got extra busy. Our day ran so smoothly and was everything that we had hoped it would be. She provided everyone with a schedule and made our day so stress free. Terri from Something Borrowed Something New Events was sensational to work with! She helped us plan our destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico and it was amazing. Terri was on top of all the details during the planning process and was very easy to get in touch with and there was never a delay in communication. She helped us find other vendors as well (photography, Decor, Flowers, etc) and she even came down to Mexico with us to deal with all the loose ends and Day of Events.... Terri had her work cut out for her because on the Day of my Wedding, the Reception space lost power and we had to move my reception to the beach -> Terri quickly moved everything and set up the space beautifully and we got married under a full moon on the sandy beach! We just had our wedding in Cancun, Mexico on November 8, 2015. Terri was our wedding planner and she was excellent to work with. She provided accurate information and she was extremely knowledgeable and professional on planning a wedding in Mexico. She was also very patient and very friendly and fun. Our guest also loved her and said her response time was impressive. Terri helped plan our wedding and i can honestly say our wedding was AMAZING! My husband and i could not have asked for a better wedding planner. I also would like to mention not one thing went wrong on the day of our wedding which is very unheard of. Terri was very easy to work with. She always wanted to make sure that our needs were being met and were happy. She had great ideas if I wasn't sure what option to choose when it came to decor or when choosing our destination wedding venue! She has a lot of experience with destination weddings and was able to calm our nerves. Having Terri as our wedding planner made the whole wedding process that much less stressful. She hooked us up with one of her partners in Aruba, Lissy, who was also amazing and made my wedding day incredible. We had just over 2 months to plan the wedding. Thanks to Terri Altergott the wedding was a huge success. After the wedding multiple people said to us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. First, Terri helped us pick vendors very fast -e.g., we finalized the invitations in 24 hours - and they all turned out to be excellent and fit into the style we wanted for the event. We didn’t originally hire Something Borrowed Something New. We were working with another planner for a time, and had a really bad experience. The best decision that we made was to end it with the current planner and sign a contract with SBSNE. There was never a moment where I did not feel like my wedding wasn’t the top priority.
