  • Lindsay helped us plan a large wedding at Hill-Stead Museum. There were a lot of specifics but she coordinated everything perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. From the flowers, photography, caterer, dj to ceremony musicians she helped me through the whole process. Everyone had a blast and said Everything was perfect!

  • Could not have had such a spectacular wedding without Lindsay and her team! Lindsay was so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, coordinating all of our rentals and serving as a resource for any wedding questions I had. Then the days leading up to our wedding, she and her team pulled everything together and everything ran so smoothly on the day of because of them! She saved me so much stress! So grateful to Lindsay and her team!

  • Working with Lindsay and her team from Sixpence For Your Shoe was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we met Lindsay, we knew she had to be our wedding planner! She was warm, approachable, and kind and made the entire planning process as seamless and enjoyable as it could possibly be! The venue that we chose was a la carte and thus, we had to bring in many (many!) vendors. Lindsay coordinated between each of these vendors with ease. She was incredibly organized and always on top of the latest changes in our plans. The wedding day could not have run more smoothly and we attribute much of that to Lindsay's impeccable planning skills leading up to our big day! We highly recommend Lindsay and the entire Sixpence For Your Shoe team! They are the absolute BEST!

  • My husband and I couldn't be happier with Talia and the Six Pence team for our Sept. 2012 wedding. Being from NYC, we were not at all familiar with CT vendors. Talia paired us with amazing vendors who were the right match for what we were looking for & a picture perfect farm venue that guests were blown away by. During the year of planning, she was always available when needed and offered great wedding advice when asked. She also took care of all of the day of rentals (which included bringing in all tableware, all decor details, lighting, escort table design & cards and much more that I'm forgetting). On the day of the wedding my husband and I did not have to worry about a single thing. Talia and the Six Pence team made sure everything was running smoothly. It was a magical event. I HIGHLY recommend Six Pence for future brides!

Everything that we were dreaming, brainstorming, and mulling over was put into reality by these women! They took all of our ideas and whipped them up into this cohesive, whimsical event that months later we're still receiving complements on. They put us in contact with vendors that were PERFECT for us. They also provided all of our beautiful stationary which will be keepsakes for us for years to come! I'm really not sure what we would have done without them! Without hesitation, we recommend Six Pence for your Shoe Events.

  • These girls are sensational!! October 7, 2011 was our wedding day. Lindsay and Rachel performed their magic with professionalism, exquisite charm and grace and a level of competency that dazzled our guests. I can describe my experience with these women as remarkable. From the special touches and eye for elegance which Talia brought to my invitations, the exceptional recommendations from Lindsay for the table decor and vendor choices, to the perfect etiquette and dependable expertise of Rachel at the reception, everything these ladies did they did with diligence and devotion to their craft. All of the festivities were overseen by Lindsay and Rachel, masters at "making it happen" and creating just what we wanted. I can only give the highest level of praise to Sixpence For Your Shoe.   • I decided to hire a wedding planner to help out with day-of wedding issues and to also give me ideas with respect to decor. I am so, so happy that I decided to do this. I worked with Lindsay and she is just the cutest, sweetest, most creative person. She totally understood my vision for the wedding and came up with the perfect linen ideas. She also somehow found me a trolley very close to the wedding. My wedding was stress-free because of her (and Nicole - her assistant). I would highly recommend Sixpence.

  • Talia, Lindsay + Nicole at Sixpence are three of the loveliest ladies I have ever met. They stepped in to take over planning our wedding just two months prior when there were a lot of loose ends and took care of it all. They kept me calm, focused and made what we had always dreamed for our wedding into a reality. They have incredible vision and truly pulled together our fairtytale wedding. Throughout the evening, I kept noticing little touches that were so special and wonderful. Nicole, in particular, was a constant support and offered loads of encouragement throughout the entire process. I very much believe that our wedding would not have been anything close to what it was without them. They are professional, talented and just overall wonderful.   • Lindsay, Tahlia, and the whole Sixpence team pulled out all of the stops for our April 30th wedding. I'm a designer, and all of the small details I had planned and spent so much time laboring over were executed perfectly by the Sixpence team. My wedding was stunning, everything I could have ever hoped for, and I didn't think about it at all on the day of, or stress about who was making sure everything was getting set up right or telling the vendors where to be. Lindsay provided an invaluable service in the months leading up to the wedding, keeping me on track and on budget, thinking of things that never crossed my mind to consider. The day of the event everything ran so smoothly, the reception and ceremony were flawless, thanks to these amazing ladies and their super team of event planners. I couldn't be more thrilled with the job they did, and we were so grateful to have them as part of our team of vendors!

  • Lindsay was my part-time wedding planner, and she was amazing! I can't imagine having planned anything as wonderful for my wedding day without her help. She dealt with my constant emailing as if she had nothing else in the world going on in her life but to help me, which I really appreciate. She provided suggestions for each vendor need that we had so that we didn't have to search through endless vendor lists trying to figure out which ones to interview. She provided storyboards to keep the "look" on track and helped to tie in all of our components from flowers to linens to attire and so on. I can't imagine a more perfect wedding thanks to her, and she made sure everything went off without a hitch on the day-of. That in itself was worth every penny.
