Our wedding was supposed to be in April 2020, sadly we had to postpone due to COVID. The staff at Simply Elegant was very accommodating in making sure we were able to move our wedding to a new date. We recently had to adjust our order to accommodate a smaller group of guest, and again Simply Elegant was there to accommodate. We ended up with a smaller backyard wedding with just family. We are so happy we choose Simply Elegant for our rentals. The products were clean, prompt, and pricing was amazing. I can't say enough about this company and the way they supported us through this stressful time!

Disclaimer: Services were never provided as our wedding was cancelled. This review is based on our experience working with Kimberly at Simply Elegant Rentals for over a year. We decided to go with Simply Elegant for our rentals as their rental fees were much more affordable than other SC rental companies and they had some really neat rental items I hadn’t seen elsewhere. However, the website was very glitchy, photos and dimensions were missing on many of the items, and almost every time you clicked on an item to zoom in and see it up close, a new window would pop up with a picture of something completely different (I think it was a candelabra). Seeing that our wedding was a destination wedding and we don’t live in SC, it was very frustrating when trying to look at items more in depth. Her reasoning was that all of our emails ended up in her spam folder and that she fixed it, but the same thing apparently happened again months later. When it came time to make the difficult decision to cancel our wedding a second time due to COVID and we asked about receiving our full deposit back, she withheld more money than necessary even though we held up our end of the contract and cancelled well within the 2 week window (we cancelled over 2 months in advance). When we saw her email that said we wouldn't be receiving our full deposit, we tried to contact her to discuss our refund via phone but the voicemail at the office was full. We called her for several days hoping someone would answer. She chose to ignore us and just sent us a check that was less than our full deposit. She also sent us an invoice to show that our order was closed, again with no discussion, and we noticed she had added new reservation and cancellation policies at the bottom of the invoice. We presume our inquiries and the legalities surrounding our situation were the catalyst for those new policy changes. We believe it was completely unfair and unprofessional to handle it the way she did. We would not recommend this vendor to other couples and suggest going with a different rental company even if they are more expensive just to save you the headache.

We used Simply Elegant to provide the tables, chairs, linens, etc. Every interaction we had with them was simple and easy, from the first phone call to the very end. Their set up and take down crew were great; they were friendly, prompt and got the job done. One of the set up guys even offered to help my aunt when she was struggling putting up some decorations. They are competitively priced and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure renting chairs from this company. They were very professional and easy to work with so would highly recommend. When my wedding was rescheduled, because of Hurricane Florence, they were kindly reassuring with my reschedule date and everything went smoothly.

Simply Elegant has many rental items for any occasion. Kim provided her services to us by letting us freely choose beautiful linens for our wedding. Simply Elegant has so many colors in linens, Kim helped us decide on what color would look best with our flowers. We ended up deciding on the Tan and Pink Ice color linens. The linens were durable and beautiful for the reception. Kim and her staffs were really kind and helpful when we stopped by the shop to say hello. We liked her customer service so much we rented tables and chairs from them for our rehearsal dinner. She made everything so smooth and stress free for us which we appreciate so much!

This place has great stuff and the prices are not bad either. Easy pickup and returns! Would rent again for any future events.

So easy to work with and excellent items for rent. They arrived in plenty of time for set up and tear down. The crew was very friendly and helpful.

Simply Elegant was so easy to work with. They have a nice showroom where you can see the items they have for rent. They communicate super fast, and it is easy to change/add to the things you want to rent. We needed a morning delivery and they were more than accommodating. Anything requiring tools, like the tents or farm house tables, they set up for you. I highly recommend!

We used Simply Elegant for our rentals for our October wedding. They were super accommodating,easy to work with and very affordable. They were able to deliver our items the day before the wedding so that we could get everything set up early and were very prompt with pickup. They also allowed me to make changes to our item numbers last minute after our wedding had to be rescheduled due to a hurricane. I would definitely recommend them!

They are such pleasure to work with! Amazing people! They dropped off, installed things, and picked up inventory on time and without any problems. They have amazing and most affordable chandelier and they looked so amazing!

Not all of the items ordered were delivered for our wedding and this place has terrible customer service!!! Also please be prepared for some made up charges to be added to your account at a later date. Whenever they delivered all of the chairs, tables, etc. (well at least most of them) I asked the guys dropping it off where they would want us to have it once they return to pick it up later that night and they said not to worry about it, just leave leave it out, and they would get it after. Then without even being contacted (no email or phone call) I see a charge on my credit card and have to call Simply Elegant to find out what happened and turns out what the delivery guys told me was incorrect and I had to pay a couple hundred bucks for that. Also, after trying to leave my first review I got an email stating that Simply Elegant disputed it (just goes to show you what kind of shady/terrible business this is - I wonder how many other bad reviews are removed) so this time I have attached... The coffee pot we rented did not work so that ruined our "coffee bar" that my mother in law was excited about. She bought special cups, coffees, creamers, chalkboard, etc. And because it was all opened and set out we lost close to $100. Now Simply Elegant did refund the cost of the coffee pot, but when we asked about the other items they were rude and unprofessional.There's a way to handle things and then there is the "Simply Elegant" way. They were unapologetic when my husband finally had to call because they'd completely ignored my email. I surely question their integrity and customer service. I'd suggest going elsewhere with a company who is more professional and checks their items before renting them out. It's definitely not about the money for anyone reading this. It's about the principle and the lack of integrity and regard for people that this company exhibits. This is obviously not a company who stands by their word and has no issue outwardly lying to the public and their customers.
