    • We are so delighted with this venue and it was perfect. There was some rain the night before and our original ceremony spot was too wet to use. They were very accommodating and were able to book us another outdoor venue with no additional charge. Erika was very friendly and coordinated with the vendors so well that we didn’t need to worry about a thing our entire wedding day. We had some elderly guests, which they were able to transport via golf cart to help them get to our ceremony and reception since it was a long walk. They set up the tables and chairs exactly how we needed them with the linens. The only thing I would say is that it was harder to contact them leading up to the wedding when I had logistical questions. But Erika was very attentive week and day-of.

    • I just want to say thank you to Stephanie Ellis, event coordinator of Silver Springs State Park. Stephanie assisted me from day one and helping to coordinate the most beautiful and elegant wedding. Throughout the process of wedding planning she has helped me to be calm and made suggestions. The day of my wedding, my bridesmaids and I utilized the cabin to get ready. This was a perfect suggestion from Stephanie because it gave us great space in order for the photographers, makeup artist and hairstylist to be at the same location. The ballroom is simply amazing in which you can transform to your own style. The scenery at Silver Springs is breathtaking. The food Was so delicious, as I had many guests compliment me on it. I am so thankful for Stephanie and amazing catering team at Silver Springs State Park. I would definitely recommend this venue !!!

    • We used this venue for our 50th anniversary vow renewal and dinner. Beautiful location. Stephanie was extremely helpful with the planning details. They catered dinner and the food was delicious! They are very easy to work with and accommodating. Highly recommend if you are near the Ocala, Fl area.

    • The individual in charge of events at this venue, Linda, was difficult to contact and Rarely returned my calls. In my opinion she does not belong in that position. A lot of promises were made that not followed through with. I had to send my bridesmaids on errands all over Ocala the day before the wedding because of things that were promised that were not followed through with. The venue was dirty when we arrived to decorate. And they changed my signed contract without my knowledge or consent. The price is not much cheaper than other local venues and not worth the hassle. I would never recommend this venue to someone else.

    Dear Christine, I'm so sorry to hear that your experience at Silver Springs State Park did not meet your expectations. We began a formal review of our event processes and planning procedures when you initially contacted us in November. Since then, we have enacted changes to ensure continual communications with the events team, proactive communications with the client, increased staffing to work events and clarification and event processes and procedures. We have restructured our event management team. I am leading all events at Silver Springs State Park (and am available for my clients through text, call, or email any time of day). We have also added seven employees to our events staff. These team members are responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the rented space both before and after a wedding. This is now a standard service for of our wedding packages. We have developed a 12-page wedding guide to provide clients with all of the options, packages and details as well as clearly stating our policies and procedures. Our event planning and contract processes have been structured to communicate updates to the entire team. Contracts can’t be altered without acknowledgement by all parties. Again, I am so sorry for the inconvenience and service you experienced. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. While it is not always easy, we are grateful to hear about how we can improve, and we feel confident that because of your feedback, we have resolved these issues that you faced going forward.
