Scott was recommended by our wedding planner Tina at Serendipity Events. Scott was wonderful to work with and did a great job during the reception. He worked with us on a couple of special requests including assisting in setting up a ZOOM meeting for family members unable to attend the wedding. He was also very easy to work with when we had to reschedule due to COVID-19.

When you hire Scott you aren't just hiring a DJ who plays music during your wedding, you are hiring him to create an experience for your guests. He worked with us every step of the way to plan and carefully craft the atmosphere, mood, and timeline for our wedding and reception. Scott was vital in his role of making this the best wedding ever. He was so awesome, I felt like he was one of the family. So fun and yet so professional. He kept the dance floor hopping all night, and kept the entire day running smoothly. He is worth every penny we spent. Our wedding would not have been the same if Scott had not been a part of it. I highly recommend him. He will literally put your wedding over the top and people will be talking about it for years! Most of our guests have already told us our wedding was the most fun they had in years and complimented us on our choice of DJ. Not only was he a great DJ but he did uplighting for us through the whole hall that was just beautiful!

Scott was absolutely AMAZING! We booked him about 2 years prior to our wedding and every 17th of the month, Scott would send us an email, letting us know that we are welcome to ask any questions, and keeping us updated on our timeline of things! He spent an hour over the phone with us over several occasions with us to discuss what we are looking for for our wedding! We continue to get compliments on our big day because he was able to get over 250 people on our dance floor and keep the dance floor full the entire evening! He helped keep our timeline on pace as well as help with anything that came up unexpectedly. We HIGHLY recommend Scott as he works well with ALL vendors, and truly is amazing at what he does. Scott is the best there is. If you looking for a reliable DJ who will make your reception a blast, you've found him! You will not regret it for a second. He was the DJ at my brother's wedding in 2012, and since everybody who attended raved about the DJ, I knew I had to book him too for my July 2016 wedding. He coordinated everything with the reception venue and was on top of every single detail. He is incredibly organized and takes the time to make everything perfect. It was so nice not worrying about any details the day of the wedding because I knew he had everything under control. He even emailed the people giving a toast so that they would know what to expect (and he uses a wireless mic - which is a must!) He has tons of experience and knows what to do to get guests' attention, get good photos, play fun songs to dance to, and even stall for time! He has a flat rate (not hourly & not extra for uplighting), and will use everything he has if you want it. He was not the cheapest, but he was worth every single penny. Having a great DJ is the most important part of the wedding reception. I feel it is even more important than the venue. A room is a room, but the DJ is what makes the party. He is way more than just a DJ and will make your life so much easier as a bride. Simply having the peace of mind to know that everything will be flawless with him was worth it. Scott was amazing! He was our Master of Ceremonies and DJ, he did a phenomenal job. We had lots of unique things during our reception that Scott accommodated perfectly. I had the WVU Mascot come to our reception and Scott worked out all the details directly with him so I could enjoy the moment as well. My Bridesmaids did a surprise dance for me and Scott worked that out directly with them. My step son (who is 7) had a special surprise entrance and it was amazing, it made the night very special for him. Scott kept our guests entertained and kept the music going, it was a non stop party and we didn't want the night to end. Scott Parr was amazing. I called him on Tuesday and got up lighting for our wedding on Saturday. Scott was extremely flexible and very responsive. Send him an email and you get a response back very quickly. I sent him an email at 11:45 pm on Friday and he responded at midnight! Our reception room looked amazing and his great work set the mood for an amazing night. I would highly recommend Scott for any of your up lighting needs.

AMAZING DJ! Highly recommend! He knew exactly what to play at the right time for the crowd and kept the party going all night long. Best wedding DJ I have ever heard! He also took some great pictures and video for us and provided amazing uplighting!

Scott Parr is amazing!!!!!!! Our wedding coordinator at The Grand Geneva highly recommended Scott when we first started wedding planning and I'm so glad she did!! Scott had so many wonderful suggestions not only about what music to play at the reception, but all other aspects of the wedding planning! He is so professional and would check in with us at least once a month up until the wedding, which was so helpful with how busy we were with wedding planning! We met with Scott a few weeks before the wedding to go over all the details and it was such a great time! Scott was an AWESOME DJ and all of our guests just loved him! As soon as I was engaged one of the first phone calls I made was to Scott Parr (after friends and family of course)! I worked with Scott years ago and knew how fantastic his work was but he really blew us away on our wedding day. He does so much more than provide music! He was the prefect mcee for our event, gave us ideas for our guest book, and ensured that all the little details were taken care of. He even shared a list he made of commonly forgotten items at weddings he created from his years of experience so we could ensure everything was in place. We recieved SO many compliments from our friends and family - I would work with Scott again and again! Scott was AWESOME! He was thorough, prepared and amazingly professional throughout the entire process. He took our wedding seriously - wanting to help us not only with the music but also being thoughtful about the flow of the entire reception. He even helped to manage some of the potential challenges of the day such as crazy "Aunt Mary" who wanted way too much time on the mic. He was fun without being cheesy - able to impress all of the "cynical city" guests. My husband's friends were just waiting for a chance to make fun of the DJ (as they had at a mutual friend's wedding a few weeks before) but they couldn't - all the comments we had were "Scott was just so cool".
