Scott + crew were better than we could have imagined. Extremely light-touch logistically and they were able to play such a wide array of types of music at an extremely high caliber level. Required only one quick call a few weeks before the event (offered to speak more but we felt comfortable) and they completely understood the vibes we wanted at each point in the event. Scott and the team are excellent! Scott really took the time to understand the theme of our party, clearly giving it thought to make sure we had the best time. He was flexible and focused on making sure everything was just right. The music was fantastic. What a talented group of individuals! We loved them so much several people asked for the details and we have booked the trio again already. We worked with Scott for our New Year’s Eve wedding and can’t say enough about how wonderful he was. Scott was so easy to work with - super responsive and had no problem with our song requests. Scott played the piano and Julie played the violin for our ceremony and it could not have been more perfect (it literally brought me to tears.) Scott continued on the piano through our cocktail hour and played a wonderful selection of songs. Our guests came up to us throughout the night to tell us how lovely the music was during the ceremony and cocktail hour. When we began the process of wedding planning, we knew that we wanted live music to accompany our outdoor cocktail hour at The Inn at Longshore, but we had no clue where to start. After hunting around on wedding websites, we came across Scott Arcangel. Once we listened to some of his samples, we knew that his music would bring exactly the atmosphere we were hoping to create at the cocktail hour. Scott and The Music Boutique were an absolute pleasure to work with! Planning a wedding is obviously stressful, and planning one during a pandemic added even more complications. But Scott was like a calming presence to my fiancée and I - he was always relaxed and collected, extremely flexible with our music choices and preferences, reasonably priced, punctual with great follow-up, and the band was a huge hit at our wedding! We also had some last-minute hiccups with our ceremony, but Scott jumped in to offer us his microphone and PA System, volunteered to do the post-ceremony introductions, and was kind enough to work with us when dinner ran late, playing for an hour longer than scheduled! Scott was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We booked him pre-covid and were so excited to have him and a cellist play at our wedding. He was accommodating, flexible, and had such a great personality ( we only spoke through email the entire process, but I picked up such an amazing vibe from him, even without ever speaking with him over the phone. He was also very responsive which I loved). When covid happened and as we got closer to the wedding I was very nervous about the changes that needed to be made at my venue and if there would be any issues with him or the cellist playing outside however Scott was extremely reassuring and put my mind at ease. He also helped me out with a last minute request (literally days before our ceremony) of having a microphone and PA system for my officiant at the ceremony which was amazing as I was in full panic mode about it. Scott was such a pleasure to work with. We found him last minute for a quick ceremony and cocktail hour and he absolutely blew our guests away. He created perfect piano renditions of our requested songs (pretty sure he can play just about anything) and added a magical moment to our night. Would highly recommend.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Scott and his team were to work with. COVID put a damper on having any sort of dancing at our wedding given the current guidelines but Scott's creativity, passion and flexibility allowed us to have an lovely and fun event nevertheless. Scott was honestly my favorite vendor to work with because he was communicative and really wanted to make our wedding day special. His unique suggestion of using a violinist, drummer and piano combo was spot on. He was very accommodating when we also needed to toggle back an forth a bit using Spotify to compensate for having traditional Indian music incorporated. I hope we're able to work together again in the future!
