  • Do not order from this company if there is even a remote possibility you may need to return their inferior product! When I returned lousy lace bolts they sold me I only received a fraction of the cost and they charged me for using their shipping label! Many, many better companies out there - Heidi in customer service was rude and unprofessional and never mind trying to get an e-mail response!

  • I purchased the Dried White Statice Flowers (Item # 40099910255) and Natural Dried Lavender 20 inch 120 Stems (Item# 40099905770). When the flowers arrived I was very disappointed. The "White" statice flowers were actually yellow. Not a pretty yellow, the kind of yellow that something white turns when laying in a trunk in the attic for too long. The lavender had lost a ton of buds. At least a handful fell out of the bottom of the box when I opened it. I contacted customer service. I was told that the photos on the website are professional photos and are not the actual product. I asked for a refund. They said they would gladly issue me a refund if I returned the items. Well the total cost of the two items was $21.99. I spent and additional $8.99 getting them shipped to me in the first place. The post office needed $10 for me to return the package. So that would have been a total of $18.99 for shipping costs on 2 items that were misrepresented on Save on Crafts website. I d... Read more

  • Customer service is horrible. We’re given information one day and then something different the next. Due to this we lost the window of getting our order in time. Customer service did not care and didn’t try anything to make it work. They don’t deserve anyone’s business.

  • I'm a wedding planner and I seriously consider save-on-crafts like an ex-boyfriend you just can't let go. You know he's bad for you but something keeps drawing you back in. I can't tell you how many times SOCs has screwed me over with their shipping & return policy and their customer service reps are just straight up rude. But darn it if their prices aren't so good. I purchase a lot of inventory every year for my events and I've yet to find better pricing and believe me, I look around anywhere before I purchase here (and if I can, I definitely purchase elsewhere). If you're going to use them, just know that if you're not happy with what you receive, there is no point in returning it as you'll have to pay for shipping. One of my $500 orders didn't arrive on time (they said it would be 7 to 10 days...it was actually THIRTY) and they refused to do anything about it.   • Read the reviews about the shipping charges, and have to agree they are totally outrageous. Someone mentioned that they had paid $13 for a large box of items. I paid $20 (well $19.34) for a box of confetti - for UPS Ground shipping. The actual charge for a 3lb box with UPS is $13.94 so I paid and extra $6 for.....? They'll probably say handling, if so someone is making some serious hourly rate packing boxes for these folks. The box was not in good condition when it arrived. Here's the rub - they advertise the confetti as 4 quarts (a gallon!!) but it actually only weighs 3.5 oz - it's very loosely packaged, there could easily be a lot more in the bags, two of the bags only contained 3 oz - which doesn't seem like a lot but given the weight of the product, it equates to ~15% of a bag The shipment weight was 3 lbs - the weight of my order was less than 1.5 lbs.   • I ordered 12 of the same item for my daughters wedding. They sent me a confirmation email stating that my order went through. The next day I received an email stating that they were sorry to inform me but the item I ordered was out of stock and they could only send me one. I contacted them immediately to cancel my orders, since one would do me no good, and they stated they had already sent the one. Really? You send one without even asking me if that would work? I told them I wanted a complete refund. I also told them I would send back the one but they would be paying shipping. She told me to go ahead and keep the one and she would take care of it. I said, so I will be receiving a full refund? She, stated I don’t know that’s up to accounting department! All I can say is I have never seen a company do business like this. I went ahead and ordered from a company with a great reputation. Trying to save a buck is not always the best answer, found out the hard way!

  • I purchased some lovely mercury glass jars. On their own website they advertise that these jars could be used for flowers. I used them for flowers and the water took the finish off. They were defective from what they advertised them for and would not return them. I cannot use them again because they will not back up their products!

  • Buyer Beware!: They will send you an inferior product then insist that YOU pay the shipping to return it with the excuse that they "aren't in competition with other craft stores." Excuse me, but yes you are! If I simply changed my mind then it would be my responsibility to send the return. But to send me something of such poor quality that's it's almost laughable and then tell me that it's MY responsibility to pay shipping (again!) to return it is a poor excuse for a business model. Below on the right is a picture of a bundle of Willow branches (1 of the 13 I ordered that all looked like this) that I received next to a bundle that I purchased from another craft supplier on the left. The lack of quality is more than apparent. Both are bundles of 10 branches (although the one from saveoncrafts states that it's 11 branches).   • I recently ordered the 8" round by 1" thick birchwood slabs from save-on-crafts. After taking over 2 weeks to finally get to my house, I opened a box to find 16 of the 28 pieces I ordered were barely over 6" at their largest point. Not to mention the bark was peeling off in large pieces and several of the wood slices were cut at very strange angles and did not lay flat. I contacted their customer service hoping to get the issue resolved;I had planned to return the ones that were incorrect and have them ship replacements. After speaking to a woman who was obviously less than interested in my problem I told her to forget the whole thing and I would be shipping back my entire order. I have ordered from so many vendors for wedding items and have had nothing but great experiences; I recommend saving your time and money and moving on to someone who will value you as a customer.

  • I used them back in March and ordered some gorgeous gold votives for a wedding (I'm a wedding floral designer). Ordered some additional gold votives for an event I have coming up after Christmas and they came in orange. They are so ugly and do not match the photo. I called, emailed and tried to contact via chat which took hours to get a reply. Finally, a Faith who had been chatting with me on and off called me and did offer a few resolutions including partial refund if I would keep them and she explained that they switched manufacturers. She did provide good service, except that she said she thought the photo I sent her did match the site photo, which is totally not true. I am having to spray paint each votive to try and make them match the old votives. Be careful if you're trying to color match or have a specific color need!

  • DO NOT waste your time or money!!! Everything on the site looks great and very cost effective, until you get to the shipping fees and receive the items in person. One of the products I was interested in using for my wedding had significant shipping costs associated with it, so I decided to order one prior to ordering in bulk to ensure the product was exactly what I wanted. The first purchase was actually in line with my expectations. I thought then, that I had eliminated buyer's risk and that the future investment would be worth it. I was wrong. When I received the next order, the product was nothing like the initial purchase or product photos on the website. I contacted the company for a refund. They required me to send photos of the items, which I did, and then finally told me I would be refunded for the items minus the shipping. The shipping was more expensive than the product! Now I am out that money, and have no idea of what to use for my centerpieces...

I ordered 24 votives for my wedding, and when it came to my apt, the quality was really poor, the votives were made with bad craftmanship with crooked and bent metal around the glass. I immediately called customer service and the woman was an idiot. She argued with me about how it was not their fault, I didn't like there products. Seriously? Then she would not send me a prepaid shipping label. I had to talk with the manager and let her know I had to pay 43.00 just to send back the items from postal. She finally gave in and sent me my prepaid shipping label, but would not refund me the shipping cost, So I will not be receiving a full refund. They are unprofessional. Go to another vendor to buy your wedding decor. Choose wisely. I went to michaels and Vase source and bought beautiful cracked gold votives and vases. GREAT quality and service.

  • The items I tried to order totaled $324...the shipping came to $220. I can get the exact same items from Afloral for the same price and their shipping is $36. When I called Save on Crafts to see if there was some kind of computer issue and he explained that there wasn't, I informed him of my option with Afloral and he told me "well buy it there,then". Not sure why anyone would order anything from there.

  • I ordered artificial manzanita branches and they are going to work well for my wedding altar. The shipment came fairly quickly and the branches were packaged well. I had a few small tips break, but nothing major. My one complaint is the excessive shipping cost. The shipping almost cost as much as my items.
