Not typical wedding food like most caterers. Amazingly prepared on premises. Charlotte is amazing. Only thing that was bothersome was guest mentioning the servers not dressing professional. A simple white shirt and black pants would have been fine. The food was exceptional,. Guests raved!

Management was very nice and professional. Tasting was really good! It was expensive. Especially if you don’t have the maximum of 6 people join the tasting.

Babu with Sausalito catering was a pleasure to work with. He met with us several times in advance and was extremely accommodating of dietary restrictions/allergies for guests (we had quite a few in the family!), a "late night" pizza snack we brought in, and a pretty extensive signature drink menu! We were one of the first weddings to be held at a new venue and Babu took it all in stride and I had no worries on the day of the wedding with him running the show! Despite our venue not having a full kitchen on site, the food was served efficiently, hot, and most importantly was delicious!! I would definitely recommend Sausalito catering!

Cafe Sausalito was excellent from start to finish! We had the plated dinner for 222 people at The Old Courthouse in Downtown Cleveland. This venue does not have a kitchen on site and I was amazed at how delicious & hot! everything was, it was even better than what I remembered at our tasting! Babu and his staff were excellent and they catered to everything we needed. (My glass was never empty!) Babu was so easy to get ahold of and rapid in his responses, which everyone appreciates. They paid great attention to detail and were willing to help out wherever needed, even if it wasn't apart of the "catering." They set up quickly and cleaned up so well it didn't even look like they were there! I would highly recommend Sausalito to cater any event you have!

If you have read any of the other reviews it goes without saying that if you hire Café Sausalito for your wedding reception or event that the food and service is going to be top notch. The intangible that drives it all is Babu's passion. This becomes quite obvious when experiencing his dedication to his clients and staff firsthand. At our wedding reception, which was outside, we were blessed with quite a bit of rain :). Given this fact, and even though his wife had just given birth the day before, Babu made a special appearance to make sure things were going exactly how we wanted them. Due to the elements, his team had to "adapt and overcome" multiple times and they expertly did so time and time again. I would recommend Café Sausalito to anyone who wants to have their special day planned and executed by a professional who cares deeply about his craft. Thanks for helping create memories for a lifetime!!

We absoluetly loved having our wedding at the Galleria! Everyone was so attentive to our needs and how we wanted everything set up! Sausalito's Catering was phenomenal! The food was amazing! We had our wedding ceremony out on the courtyard of the Galleria and the reception to follow inside. Their team worked so well together and made our wedding a day we will never forget! We recommend this venue and catering company to everyone! You won't be disappointed.

I was/am speechless on how smooth everything went for my wedding thanks to Sausalito catering. Everything that needed to be done they did it. They accommodated my needs and made my wedding actually MINE! It was just the way I wanted nothing less nothing more. The staff goes above and beyond and is so professional. Nicest people to work with. You don't even realize they are there they stay out of the way and make sure everything is done right and right away. There was a spill on the ground and my husband and one of the workers to clean it up when he had a chance and within second there was someone coming out to clean it . Like I said they were on top of everything and everything ran so smooth. From planning the wedding to the actual wedding and after it was all about me and what u wanted they truly care about the bride and groom!!! I was the Bride for a wedding at the Galleria Mall downtown cleveland. I hired Sausalito Cafe to cater the event. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Not only was the food and service amazing (I work in the service industry, so I know good service) but the whole process from booking to when we picked our belongings up the day after the wedding. I didn't hire A wedding planner so Babu (the owner) helped me with every step along the way. The day of the wedding he kept everyone so organized and made everything run perfectly. My guests are still talking about our food!

Sausalito catered our wedding this past month in Cleveland. The tasting made it a no brainer- everything was delicious which made it hard to choose the menu. Their staff is super friendly, and they were very responsive throughout the planning process. The day of the event, the food came out really good and we received a lot of compliments on it!! They also provided a cake cutting service and helped pack up the left over alcohol so it was easily transportable after the event. The only downside was some details were missed- nothing detrimental to the day so all is well, but some examples are... missing a salad dressing option that was confirmed on the menu, not putting salt and pepper on the table, using the wrong colored napkins, clearing water goblets too early, etc. They were apologetic about anything that was missed and their staff was attentive when things were brought to their attention. We had many compliments from our guests regarding just how excellent the food was. Seriously, the food is GOOD. The service the day of our wedding was top notch as well. Bartenders were attentive (one even sought out my father in law with a new glass of red wine when they saw his had gone empty). The wait staff were prompt and polite. I was originally concerned because of the lack of a detailed contract. I shopped around to different caterers and most other vendors had specific contracts detailing exactly what was included (glassware, dinnerware, # of staff, hours of service, etc, etc). Cafe Sausalito gave us a generic contract. When I inquired what exactly was included with the service I was told 'Don't worry, we'll take care of it.' This made me nervous because I did not want any surprises on the day of our wedding. We did finally get a detailed contract, but the process was like pulling teeth. Babu and the team at Sausalito Catering seem to be one of the best kept secrets among Cleveland wedding catering, but can't imagine it will stay that way. After reading positive reviews, we reached out to Sausalito about catering our offsite wedding at The Old Courthouse. Because the Old Courthouse does not have a kitchen on site, I have to admit I was very nervous about the catering because everything has to be brought in from the outside - tables, chairs, cook tops, bars, etc. We reached out to multiple catering companies and Sausalito's prices were by far the most competitive. After coming in for a tasting with our families, we decided the food was also delicious as well and hired Sausalito. Babu was very helpful and flexible throughout the process, and had a great "can do" attitude. The event was well executed and I heard many positive comments about the food. Great value and service.
