We weren't sure if we wanted a wedding video, but after some digging we stumbled across Sam's work. He had such a unique style and it stood out from all the other videos we had seen. After talking with him, he put as at ease. We booked a larger package from him which included a separate shoot a few days before our wedding. He was so accommodating and had awesome suggestions for locations to shoot. We absolutely love the film he made for us. He was so chill and easy to work with throughout the day. At the start of wedding planning we didn't think we wanted to spend the extra money on a video but once we realized our photographer came in under budget we decided to look into getting a videographer as well and I'm SO glad we did. Sam was one of multiple videographers recommended by our wedding planner. He stood out as his videos have a beautiful & unique style to them and when doing price comparisons his package offerings had the most value for money. We opted to pay a bit extra to include the speeches and vows which I believe was so worth it. Everything was a blur and I'm so grateful to be able to look back on it all for years to come. My wife and I were originally on the fence about getting a videographer for our wedding. Wedding videos are certainly an extra expense, and they are often pretty cheesy and one-size-fits-all. We ultimately decided that we did want pro-looking video footage to remember our day, and went with Sam. Having Sam shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we had made regarding our big day, and so worth it. The day happens in such a blur, and you only really have your (faulty and overwhelmed) memory to rely on. We just received our highlight video from our wedding in November at Kualoa Ranch and couldnt be happier! Sam caught amazing details and presents it in such an artistic way, i can barely believe its us in the video! He was easy to work with, super accommodating and has a great vibe about him. We highly recommend you hire Sam to film your wedding in Hawaii. Not only are his videos a beautiful and artistic representation of the day, but we really enjoyed working with him. He listened and responded to my many questions and made the project feel collaborative. When the north shore got hit by a gnarly storm on our wedding day, Sam saved the day by coaching us through the process of moving the event back a day (which we could do given that it was a very small wedding). Although at that point, since he couldn’t film the wedding himself, he hooked us up with another talented videographer (hey Kyle) and helped us finalize the arrangements which really helped our stress/anxiety of things not going exactly as planned. We had a very unique vision for our day, with our wedding stretching from the early hours of the morning to last call at 10pm. Sam and his team were absolutely incredible. In the beginning stages, we had an initial call to talk about our vision and Sam brought so many creative ideas to the table. Hawaii is such a special place to us, I knew I had to have a video to capture our big day. I started looking through a ton of different wedding videos trying to find that something special that made me decide this is who I wanted to capture our day. Guys, when I say Sam is great, I mean Sam is wonderful, original and unique in what he does. My husband and I eloped to Oahu and needed someone who would be thorough and capture the important details so my family and friends could still feel like they were apart of our day and Sam really made that happen. We got married close to four months ago and when I watch our video it seriously brings tears to my eyes. He was overall just a good guy, it was like having another friend there.

Twin Fin Filmworks WAS AMAZING! The company owned and artistically created by Sam is the only videographer in Hawaii where you will find such personal, professional and thoughtfully curated pieces. We definitely aren't Tom Brady or Giselle but he captured our best and most true selfs, which truly is priceless considering we will use this as proof to our children that we were once young and wild!
