As a hobbyist (and once professional) photographer I had a high bar when choosing someone to tell the story of our big day through photographs. I needed someone who was flexible and would deliver amazing images. Sam was all that and more. He was accommodating and traveled to Seattle for both the wedding and our engagement shoot. For our engagement shoot he let us drag him all around town in hunt of the best locations. On our wedding day he was incredibly patient, poised and made us feel like everything was under control. One of Sam's best talents is his 'bedside manner' he posses an ability to make everyone feel comfortable, even people who aren't natural in front of a camera. Technically speaking (for the other photographers out there) he has a great eye to tell a story through his photos. 5/5 rating for sure. I knew of Sam's work years before my wedding, and always thought it was top notch. In my opinion, he is definitely one of the best photographers in Spokane. Through my journey of wedding planning, a lot of stressful situations and family issues rose to the surface that really stressed me out. I could not imagine someone in my face telling me to smile when all I could think about was the stress and drama that happened leading up to the wedding. I took a chance on Sam because I loved his work, and thought it would be worth it. I will never regret it this decision because of how he treated me, all of my guests and the wedding party. Sam was focused on getting the right shots and was very intentional with us and his time, yet was very cool calm and collected throughout the whole thing. I had followed Sam's photography over the years and was always so impressed with his talent. When my husband and I got married last year of course I asked Sam to capture our day, which he truly did. He was very attentive and personal. I appreciate the memories that I now have in the beautiful pictures that Sam took.

Sam was not just wedding videographer he went above and beyond in absolutely every aspect of the job. To start with my wife and I needed to book someone to capture our story in Spokane while we were living in Nashville so we didn't get to meet up until we got into town for the wedding. Sam met with us for lunch and we got to express and discuss our style and expectations for the video. He was friendly, kind, and very professional. Sam walked us through the day and how he would go about capturing our story. He answered all of our questions and assured us that the end product was going to be amazing... And it was!
