  • Jerry booked someone else on the date that we had made an agreement on. He sent over documents late sunday evening. I responded. Back to him to let him know that we would definitely be filling out and emailing him back the documents and payment information. I printed off on Monday evening, filled then out Tuesday afternoon and was about to send him when an email came through wedding wire that he sent saying that he booked my date with another party. The professional thing to do would have been to call me like he did on sunday and verify we were still needing the car, but no, he just decided to book it out from underneath me. This is not the first time he has done this according to his google reviews. Bad business practice in my opinion.

    Justin Called me back today, Tue 9-15-20 at 4:47pm after I emailed at 4:08 him today that We had another Commitment with signed documents . Justin's 1st email communication was on Sat 9-12-20. We responded on Sun He indicated in email on Sunday, that He would send me the Signed Doc for commitment for his requested date on Monday, We did not receive any Email or call from him on Monday or today, Tuesday, Sept 15th until after him the notice to keep him informed. In the discussion, He admitted that He got busy and did not send on Monday as well as today due to work while driving home to get Credit Card to provide to his future wife to send documents . I informed him I get many calls and /or emails that clients are going to send their commitment. Having doing this business for over 30 years, I found that the best Z& fairness to all , is to "WE HONOR ON FIRST COME BASES OF RECEIVED SIGN CONTRACT AND CR AUTHORIZATION FORMS" which I explained to him. I told him I am sorry and understand. So I also referred him to another company that may be able to help him out. Also, I offered a very good deal to him for my services . It is unfortunate , some people do not appreciate all We do in our professional Wedding industry going beyond to assist our clients. Justin did say He appreciated my refer to another company to hopefully assist him after which He calmed down. I do not know if He reached out to them or not. But I did wish him the best.

  • I booked a vintage Rolls Royce, had a contract, a months after the reservation and paid in full I get a phone call from Jerry telling me he has some bad news. Jerry apparently "double booked" the car. I am finding out from other car rental companies that this "oops I double booked the car" scheme is only a way to get out of the contract when they get a better offer for the car rental. What happens is let's say you rent the car for 3 hours and someone wants to rent the car for 6 hours so the car rental company ditches you for of course the more money rental. This is a tactic they use to have an "honest mistake". Jerry was not even apologetic and just very matter of the fact when talking to me. He said he could of course refund my money and I told him he of course he is going to refund me my money!

  • Im just going to say a couple of things that happened with this company. On the day of my wedding the driver who arrived at the Catholic Church was very rude! He was pushing us to hurry while we were taking pictures with friends and family!. ... I completely get that the weather was extremely hot and very exhausting....but the driver DID NOT HAVE TO BE RUDE MAKING THOSE RUDE COMMENTS THAT WE NEED YO HURRY AND HESITATING LOOKING AT HIS WATCH LIKE HE HAD SOMETHING TO gO AFTER WHICH I KNEW THERE WAS NOTHING BOOKED AFTER. I had spoken to the owner about paying the extra hour in case we would go over and he said it was completely fine. There's reason why we pay for the service and the extra fees. It is called hospitality and great customer service. Very very unprofessional from your company.

  • We hired Romantic Remembrances to provide a shuttle for the wedding party and a getaway car for my husband and me. Jerry was so helpful through the planning process and provided us with all the information we needed to choose the best packages for our wedding. Our drivers were amazing, accommodating, and reliable, and we're so grateful to the Romantic Remembrances team for making our wedding transportation so easy! We would recommend them to anyone!

  • Romantic Remembrances was one of the most responsive, professional, and accommodating transportation vendors I have ever worked with. Our schedules changed because of winter weather cancellations at our final destination, and given the changes in hotel, dates, and flight scheduling, our ever-shifting ground transportation needs were never a worry. The answer was always "yes!" Outstanding service!

  • Had a GREAT experience with Romantic Remembrances. Very friendly and easy to work. I reserved their 1958 Rolls Royce for my sons wedding. It was the perfect end for the perfect day. Nothing like the new bride and groom departing in a classic vehicle. Michael was the driver. He was great as well. he was very professional and courteous. If you are looking for a great company, Romantic Remembrance is the one.

  • Jerry is the best! He has a beautiful fleet of vintage cars that are the perfect last impression for guests to see as you make your grand exit! As a professional in the wedding industry, I had very high expectations with the vendors I hired and I was thrilled with the service provided by Romantic Remembrances!

  • My wife and I enjoyed our experience with Jerry at Romantic Remembrances! We used RR for transport from our wedding reception back to our home. The promptness, courteousness, and professionalism was beyond compare! (And the Rolls Royce was a beautiful car, not only for transport, but also for photographs of our special day!   • Romantic Remembrances provided a gorgeous white 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud as the departure car for my daughter's wedding. I heartily endorse Owner Jerry Taylor and his business. It's easy working with them, professional service, and very accommodating. Jerry drove the car on the day we used his service. He arrived ahead of schedule for photographs and created a very pleasant environment for my daughter and her groom. Limo service using a luxury classic auto is pricey in the Dallas market but Jerry's service and attention to his client's satisfaction makes the experience with Romantic Remembrances classy and pleasantly memorable.   • We used Romantic Remembrances for our getaway, a vintage 1939 black Cadillac, and were very pleased with the service. The driver managed to navigate his way through blocked-off streets (we weren't aware there was a huge Halloween party occurring in Oak Lawn that evening) to make it to the venue early(!) for pictures. The car was immaculate, the driver was friendly and courteous and we had lovely pictures to show for it. Booking was easy and detailed, Jay does a great job making sure all the bases are covered. And you just can't beat the price – I highly recommend Romantic Remembrances!

  • Were supposed to arrive at Venue at 10:30. Bride and Groom had to depart at 11PM. They called at 10:30 and said they could not be there until 11:20.....well after the time the couple needed to leave. So unprofessional. They did refund our money but would have much rather they showed up. Try WAZE next time............Amazing how it works for everyone else but you???? It is the Metroplex - you should ALWAYS anticipate traffic..........you should know this after years in business Lame excuse!

    10:21pm I called & left message w client representative to inform them the car was running late due to traffic issues. 10:30pm Client Rep returned my call. Our schedule which was approved from client was with a 9:30pm departure from Dallas schedule to arrive in FW at estimated 10:30pm with the scheduled departure from Venue for B/G at 11:15pm per invoice and review by client when booked. No time changes were ever updated from client. My purpose was to keep them informed and give them the choice with car possibly not being able to arrive until 11:20pm. They choose to cancel our services before arriving. Of course I informed them that I would refund them if they choose, which I did. It is always our goal to be the best at what we do to always be on time as we did for them before for her Daughter's wedding a few years ago as we have for the thousands of other weddings. Unfortunately, We have no control over traffic issues that may develop in route. Our services are always an estimate based on our 30 years of experience. Of course I apologized immediately on my calls for the unfortunate situation. I appreciated their trust in our services for both Daughter and Son.

  • The day of the wedding went without problem. The driver arrived with the car ('59 Rolls Royce) promptly and we were able to take some great pictures. The car was in good condition, clean and wonderfully vintage. The driver however, barely spoke to us during our 45 minute drive, which might be great for some but there's not barrier between the front and back seat so at times it was just a bit awkward... Also, the car has very limited/poor A/C so it was a sweaty ride...

  • This vendor was under a contracted paid agreement with the bride and groom to provide wedding send off in an antique vehicle and did not show up for the end of the evening. This was devastating to the bridal party and left them stranded at the end of the wedding reception at 10:30 PM to try and find a ride to their hotel. It caused the wedding party to not get to their rooms and homes until 2:00 AM in the morning. It totally ruined what would have been a beautiful wedding. Totally irresponsible vendor. The owner did not even call to check on the driver to see if he was where he was suppose to be. Of course, he did not show up at the end of the evening or send a replacement vehicle! Do not use this vendor!

    In response to this review, I have a policy to have my drivers communicate their status at all times via text from Picking up Car , Arrival at venue, Departure and drop off, etc. In this instance, I reached out to my driver w no response, I found out that he Had to go to the Hospital. I immediately called the planner to notify her that I would be late due to the circumstances. I finally spoke to the Bride on the phone that night as well. Explaining and offering again to come to pick up, etc. She refused. Of course I refunded her charges and apologized. BELOW is my follow up conversation & email on 5-16-15 night of Wedding w Bride. Marci, Thanks for your return phone call tonight confirming you received my message that My driver was in the hospital unknown to me. In turn the Daimler failed to be at your reception as planned. Of course we will give you a full refund. You appreciated my offer tonight to come and assist you with my sedan tonight to get you home. But said you would just call a cab. If you would share with me your time line going to the airport tomorrow or when you are flying out for your honeymoon? As well as your return from your Honeymoon, I will review my schedule to assist you without a charge to you. Just let me know the flight plans, and details to accommodate you. Jerry PS: If you desire my assistance as early as tomorrow, Let me know tonight so I can better prepare to assist you.

  • STAY AWAY! We tried to use this service. Unfortunately they cancelled on us the Thursday before the wedding because they had made a mistake and overbooked. The second booking was made after ours but for some reason ours was the one bumped. We were left scrambling. Do not use unless you enjoy a company that may cancel on you last minute.

I HAVE ATTACHED THE NEWEST CONTRACT AND CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION FORMS. Therefore, We honor on first commitment received with Signed Contract / Credit Card documents. A phone call based on conversation is not a complete commitment from a client. but actually only a desire to book. We received another Clients paper work prior to this clients commitment. Unfortunate, but only being fair with everyone these guidelines. I have even turned down jobs that would have been more time of services. But I follow these guidelines to be fair.
