  • When planning a wedding, the details matter. From the color of the dress and flowers to the color, year, make, and model of the vehicle. It is clear to me that Regal Limousine does not care about the details of their customers' wedding day. I am writing this review as I leave my wedding in an Uber Black. My experience to this point with Regal Limousine (regallimousine.com) has been less than satisfactory. I hope this review will help anyone considering booking Regal Limousine make an informed decision. I booked the 1964 White Rolls Royce on May 26, 2021, for my wedding on May 28, 2021. However, one hour and nineteen minutes before my scheduled pick-up time, I received an email that the 1964 White Rolls Royces' air conditioner was not working and a 1985 Black Bentley Mulsanne would be sent.     We just knew that Victor would give us trouble, but we went ahead with the order anyway so that he could have his dream wedding car/photo op. It turns out our initial assessment was dead-on. First, he gave us a bad credit card. After several phone calls and emails, he provided a valid credit card but refused to authorize its use - per VISA rules. (His scheme was to use our service, claim that he did not authorize payment, and get his money back. This is as crooked as it gets.) Then when we asked him for his home address for billing, another VISA requirement, he gave us a false address. The effect of this is to make us pay a higher merchant credit card fee. Then he wanted us to drive the Rolls with the belts, not turning the a/c compressor and the water pump, which would have burned the engine up. Then he wanted a discount. When our chauffeur arrived at the right place at the right time, he said that he did not like the Bentley because it was black; he wanted a white car for photos; and that he had ordered a substitute black UBER car. (That really took the cake. Wonder how his wedding photos with a black UBER car turned out?) We were ready, willing, and able to make the trip for him, and then he wanted a refund. All he had to do was sit back and enjoy the ride. Then he wrote a review on his wedding night, with misquotes. For example - we did not say that Photoshop could change a Bentley into a Rolls Royce. We said that he could have photo-shopped the Bentley car color from black to white, for a few bucks, instead of disrupting everything. Then he wrote a personal email to me that is unprintable. We value our customers and want to make their experience with Regal as positive as possible by providing them with the finest, authentic British classic cars at the lowest price in the world. We do everything humanly possible to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied with our service. So, here's our offer. We'll meet you, your wife, and your photographer at the MLK Memorial in DC to do the wedding photography that you missed. We will not charge you anything for one hour on a date that is convenient for both of us within the next 14 days. Once the photography is complete, pick your favorite image, and we'll have it retouched so that the Bentley will show completely white to compliment the color scheme of your wedding. We will also pay our professional photographer for this retouching. If if you don't want to have your photographer do the job, bring your cell phone camera, and I'll take the pictures personally. You can proof the shots on the spot, so the best one is selected. This is a very generous offer with no expense to you whatsoever. We've been in many homes over the years and relish in the display of pictures hanging over the fireplace mantel showing a glowing bride and groom next to the front of our Bentley with something scenic in the background.   • I am making this review because of this company's response to my daughter's review of their service. I would not normally do this, but because the company rudely disregards her feedback apparently because she didn't pay for their services, I thought as the "credit card holder" I would write a review myself. To recap: I asked my daughter to book a limousine/car for her wedding because it was important to me and my wife that we have that moment riding to the ceremony with her, getting out of the car, etc. She was okay just driving with her fiance or taking Uber, but we wanted this special treat so I paid for it. My wife also specifically wanted to put flowers on the car to make it special. So my daughter found this company and they said it was okay to have flowers just for photos. Great. But on the wedding day, the driver refused to let us put the flowers on the car.     Customers wanted a picture of a swag on the front of our antique Rolls Royce. We don't allow decorations because they damage the car for all future customers. This is explained on our website www.regallimousine.com - from which customers made their order. Instead of simply instructing their photographer to photoshop the picture, they made a big stink review. So, we contacted a professional photographer to see what the charge would be to photoshop the picture. We refunded the amount to customers account so that they could have the desired picture. Problem solved. Please remove the now false review and edits.

  • Update 11/9/20: John updated his comment to my review to appear eminently more reasonable (his initial comment is attached), but in reality his response has been anything but. Here's the story: I posted a low star review because John (in an email and on the phone) agreed to let us put flowers on the car and I booked the car because he okayed them, only to have the driver, day-of, refuse to let us put flowers on. After the wedding, John didn't respond to the email about this issue. But when I posted my review, he posted comments backtracking on our initial agreement (if you'd like to check the wayback machine, it shows that John updated his website to say "no decorations" *after* I posted my review), called me incompetent, and accused me of faking the screenshot of his email that I included with my review. He has since sent me multiple emails threatening to have me arrested. Flowers on a car may be totally irrelevant to a future customer. What's important is how John reacted when so... Read more

    1.Our website, www.regallimousine.com, (from which Joyce made her order) clearly says: "we do not allow decorations because they damage the car for all future customers." Our authentic Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III (the most beautiful car ever created, at the lowest price in the world)) is the only one available for the use and enjoyment of the public in the National Capitol area. We recently did a four year, $90,000.00 restoration on it, and it would not be in the "public interest" to allow Joyce or anyone else to wreck it for their own selfish purposes. An authentic, British classic car of this caliber can normally only be found in museums, private collections, and investment portfolios. Joyce (a government attorney) was aware of the no decoration policy, and her response was to write her first negative review on Wedding Wire. 2. We gave Joyce a $150.00 refund so that she could have her photographer make a photoshop picture of her flower on the hood without any cost to her whatsoever. Joyce responded with a second negative review on The Knot. 3. We offered to drive the Rolls into DC again without expense to Joyce so that her photographer could retake the picture. Joyce's response was to write a third negative review on GOOGLE. 4. We suggested the free use of an existing picture that her photographer could modify to suit her needs. Joyce's response was to write a fourth negative review to the Better Business Bureau. 5. Joyce NEVER took us up on any of our offers. Therefore, as you can see, her stated objective of having a picture of swag on the front of the car was completely fake. Her responses appear to exhibit a paranoid, vindictive addiction for revenge (unfounded). 6. Our only goal was to provide beautiful Rolls for her wedding/photo op. She chose a photo site strewn with litter and the homeless. Other lawyers who have successfully used our service task their photographer to take pictures featuring the two of them near the front of the Rolls Royce with the Supreme Court in the background.   • Fantastic and memorable experience with REGAL LIMOUSINE! For my daughter's wedding, we contracted the classic 1964 Rolls Royce to bring the Bride & her Father to the Church, and after the wedding nuptials, for the Groom and Bride to go for pictures at the Lincoln Memorial, and then onto the reception which was also in Washington D.C. I found the owner John to be highly responsive to all email exchanges, polite and forthcoming on expectations. The car is magnificent, and our driver was Lynn who arrived dressed for the day! She was timely, relaxed but professional and incredibly helpful at every point of the way. Even in the church, she came and stayed with the bridal party to make sure everyone had a last minute check over. This was so helpful as we were limited on attendees secondary to COVID. It made the day so extra special, and the pictures are just amazing! Everyone loved the ambience the car delivered to this special day. Highly Recommend!

  • My husband and I were so pleased that we hired Regal Limousine for our big day. We decided to rent the '54 Rolls Royce for our first look and other pre-wedding photos and to drive us to our venue. The car was stunning and our driver Lynn couldn't be nicer. It was a freezing day and she went above and beyond to help keep my veil from blowing away during photos, keep us warm and generally keep our moods excited. We'd highly recommend Regal!

  • I worked with Regal to set up a ride for my husband and me between the ceremony and reception venues in the Silver Cloud as a surprise for my husband, and I am so, so glad I did. The value for the experience is unbeatable, and every part of working with Regal from booking to our drive through DC was delightful. My husband was blown away by this, and it was such a special moment for both of us to have this special trip across town. One of the best decisions I made in planning, thank you!!!

  • My fiance decided kind of last minute to grab a vintage car for our transportation from the church to the reception, and of course for photos. I was skeptical about spending the money on this, since we already purchased a shuttle to transport the bridal party....but totally worth it. The photos turned out beautiful, it was a unique experience that we'll probably never have again, and Lynn our driver was the absolute best human being ever! She was funny, very engaging, and was an absolute savior on making sure my dress wasn't getting snared on anything and everything during our wedding photos. So considerate!

  • I have nothing but fantastic things to say about regal limo services. John was very professional and very reasonable on price. The 1952 Bentley was the car we ordered for our wedding and it was absolutely beautiful! People at the wedding were in aw when the car pulled up. It was in fantastic condition before being over 60 years old. We were so happy with the quality of service and the condition of the car. It was a great experience. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the driver continued to get lost and kept making wrong turns. It turned into a much longer drive than planned but in the end we got to the hotel and the driver was very professional about it.

  • Since my husband is in love with classic cars, I really wanted to surprise him with one on our wedding day. We had the '64 Rolls Royce, and my husband was thrilled. The photos of us with the car are fantastic, but my favorites are the ones of my husband when he first saw it. The service on the day of the wedding was punctual and professional. While it was a little pricey, it was definitely worth it to have such a special car for our wedding.

  • So, overall - very pleased with the service, communication, and had an amazing time with a great driver the night of our wedding! However, in going back and looking at our pictures, what is shown online as the 1952 Bentley online (which is what we paid for) is not what is in our pictures. The car in our pictures is identical to the 1957 Bentley. Again, overall, we have a great experience on our wedding night and we loved riding around in a unique classic car.

I also mistyped the year of the car that we received and have since made the correction...If I could give this company zero stars I would, but the website makes you at least choose one star. We rented the 1952 Bentley for our wedding and it was the WORST experience ever! First of all, the driver would not wait for me (the bride) to come from my hotel room, instead he made me rush to come down and told my bridesmaids to tell me to "hurry" and rushed me out of my bridal suite into the car. I did not want any of my guests to see me, but he made me rush. I was waiting for my wedding coordinator to walk me down, but instead he kept telling everyone to get the bride. Second, the A/C was NOT working. It was a 90 degree day and the air was blowing out hot air.   • I would use Regal Limo again. I rented a Vintage 1950s white Bentley to take my father and I to my wedding venue. The car was beautiful and I absolutely felt like a princess. The driver was prompt and nice and it was a great time. Very elegant and would love to use again.
