  • We got married on September 30th and having it at the Radisson was the best decision I made!! The ceremony was right in the lobby and on paper a wedding in a hotel lobby doesn’t sound too glamorous, but believe me - it was! It was such a beautiful ceremony and the history surrounding the hotel made it that much more special. If you are having lots of out of town guests it’s the perfect location since it’s right off the highway and easy to get to. It was also wonderful having the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and guests rooms all under one roof. No one had to drive anywhere and Traxx bar was great for the guests to go to between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Courtney was great to work with leading up to the day and Mary was my savior as the day of coordinator! As soon as we met Mary at our rehearsal dinner she truly made my husband and I feel as if we were the only people in the whole hotel that weekend.   • Our daughter and son-in-law were married at the Radisson Lackawanna Station on November 12, 2016. Courtney and the entire staff helped us put together the perfect ceremony and reception. The venue is beautiful, the food and bar service was excellent & the staff very accommodating and quick to respond to our requests. Many of our 200+ guests stayed at the hotel and were pleased with their accommodations as well. The day went off without a hitch and the bride told us it was "the wedding of my dreams." Enough said!

  • When my husband and I started to plan our wedding, there was one concept we agreed upon immediately - no ballrooms..then we walked into the Radisson. The lobby area absolutely blew us away, we were immediately in love. Our cocktail hour was held in the beautiful marbled lobby and then the reception was in the main ballroom. We appreciated the reception area being in a completely different area, it creates an element of excitement for the guests as they move down the hallway to see a new part of the hotel. Two elements that were most important to us were 1. great food and 2. great drinks. We were not disappointed! We chose the plated sit down dinner for our reception. The food was delicious! Let's be honest, we've all been to plenty of banquet events/weddings and heard the token comment of "dinner is good, it's wedding food". The expectations aren't very high.   • The staff at the Radisson were very easy to work with and helped us have a flawless ceremony and reception. I don't live in the area and had to do long distance planning but Danielle was quick to respond to any questions and made the process easy. We received rave reviews from our guests on the venue.

  • Cannot say enough great things about wedding reception at the Radisson! Working with Danielle in the planning was a seamless and easy process. I live out of town so most of our communication was via email and she could not have been better to work with. The day of our event was flawless, their staff paid so much attention to my husband and I, making sure that we ate, bringing food to our room for later, and making sure our drink glasses were never empty. We had such a great experience. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride looking.

  • Mary, Danielle, Luis and the entire rest of the staff are the best of the best! I have never experienced such wonderful service, friendly staff, great food....I could go on and on. All of the guests at our wedding are still talking about our wedding and can't say enough about the service and the food.......ah, the food! Almost everyone told us hands down best wedding ever!! You guys ROCK!! I have to say I was a little hesitant because they went through some staff changes in the middle of our planning but I am so glad that Danielle came on board! She was more attentive, more excited and more helpful than any of the others up to that point! We also can't say enough about Mary or Luis! As I said they are the best of the best!   • I truly have nothing but wonderful things to say about having our wedding at the Radisson at Lackawanna Station. As a horrible party planner and a big procrastinator, I was mildly terrified about planning a wedding, but Cindy and the rest of the staff made it as close to effortless as possible. Cindy is amazingly organized and was on top of her game from start to finish. She brought so many things to my attention that I would have never even thought of and is also a really awesome person, which makes working with her a breeze. The wedding went by so quickly, but everything (the atmosphere, the food, the service) was great. I really have no complaints!

  • We could not be happier with how everything turned out for our wedding. Cindy, Mary, and the entire staff were amazing. Cindy was very accessible during the entire planning process. As for the actual reception, it was perfect. The food was AMAZING. My guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I didn't worry about anything all night. If we needed anything, the staff was waiting and ready to help. The Radisson is a beautiful venue with a wonderful staff, and the perfect place to have a wedding!

  • My wife started looking at venues as soon as we got engaged because we knew we wanted to get married within a year. She went to several places but as soona s she saw the Radisson we were done. She fell in love with the building and how everything looked. Luckily, our church and the Radisson both had the same date available so we booked it. Working with the Staff a the Radisson was relaxed and easy. They were very organized and my wife had everything planned with little to no stress thanks to the woman who she met with several times (I'm sorry I don't remember her name...Cindy maybe?). We did a food tasting with both sets of parents and tried 6 dishes. They wre outstanding. We ended up choosing the Chicken Milanese, Sliced Tenderloin, and Stuffed Flounder. Everyone told us how great the food was at our wedding. It was probably the best food I've ever had at a wedding. We did the cocktail hour in the lobby which looks awesome.   • Our entire experience at the Radisson at Lackawanna Station was incredible from start to finish. The Director of Sales Cindy was amazing and continually went above and beyond to make our special day so memorable. The entire team at the Radisson worked together to make sure every detail was correct and every special request was met. Even with last minute changes, the team flew into action and completed the change before you knew what happened. One of the best parts about the experience was that the time leading up to the big day was stress free. Everything we needed was given to us in a list with dates, Cindy was reachable at all times and our only concerns were with outside vendors. On our big day everything went smoothly, the team fulfilled every need and expectation we had. Mary and Luis went above and beyond in the ballroom and made the day even more special. Everything was perfect and we had no complaints!

From the overall planning to the catering to the details they took care of for us, everything was perfect. We think we had the best wedding we've attended, and it was largely thanks to their work.

  • Regrettably, my daughter-in-law's wedding shower was there. The event was nice, but I was charged $20 per person for 2hours of mimosas and Miller/Yuengling. Per contract, I agreed to this price without having inspected it closely; that was, admittedly, my fault for not looking it over well. However, the quoted price package was for "beer, soda, wine 2 hrs," as per our signed contract. First, the soda was already included in the original buffet price, so I was doubly charged. Also, we never got wine, and it was supposed to be mimosas that were the substitute. The manager Suzanne called and left me a detailed message on my cell-phone said that the language on the contract was a "typo." She also said she wouldn't change any price that we were charged, and only would reimburse me $2 per person for soda. Two months later, no reimbursement.
