  • Amazing! We were treated like royalty at Pronovias, and I did NOT have a tremendous dress budget. We found "the dress" at our first visit. The staff was lovely throughout the entire process (fitting, etc.) and I have highly recommended the salon to all my friends.

  • I got my dress on one of their annual sample sales and even like that, the service was amazing and the dress was practically new. I got an amazing price and it was worth every penny. So if you can, go with two of your friends and get ready to try on amazing dresses.

  • SEAMSTRESS STREAKED BLOOD ON MY GOWN - READ ON: Please, Please, Please order a Pronovias dress but avoid the flagship location in midtown Manhattan. I was not one of the small, pushy, bridal boutique kind of brides. So, I found the huge, glamourous flagship store very attractive because they do tons of business and don’t push you into anything. I liked the big setting. But what happens with a big setting is that you get lost and this is what happened to me: Last fitting - I scheduled a month in advance and brought my whole family with me to “learn to tie the bustle and take the dress home.” All appointments scheduled way in advance. NO WORK HAD BEEN DONE ON THE DRESS. Nothing. I was forced to come back 1 week later right before my wedding. Extremely stressful. Coming back right before my wedding - NO WORK HAD BEEN DONE, AGAIN. Sat in waiting room for 45 minutes while manager falsely chatted me up. Seamstress arrived sweating and thanking me for giving her “more time.... Read more

  • Not worth going, there are better stores than Pronovia. A white chunky tall lady with short hair that seats in the front desk is very nosy and was staring at me when I was about to write my budget for the Dress on paper..I didn't appreciate that.

  • All the dresses are stunning and chic! But for a first (and last) experience trying on wedding dresses, it was certainly disappointing. I think we just had a terrible saleswoman. Alterations/subsequent fittings deserved 5 star rating for service and quality! Navinia was the best! My mother, aunt, and best friend were there for over two hours and were never offered water; when we asked for it, the saleswoman pointed to a pitcher in the corner with only two glasses (so we all shared). In the over two hours there, she only had me try on 4 dresses until I had to ask to if I could try on more dresses. And she came out with one more. I didn't want to shop anywhere else but I felt pressured to basically make a decision based on the few I tried on. The saleswoman never told me the prices of the dresses she was having me try on, albeit in theory within the budget we provided. So of course, the one I fell in love with an ultimately bought was at the upper end of my budget and fr... Read more

  • I came to Pronovias to try on dresses for my wedding... I had originally tried on a Pronovias dress at another boutique and fell in love with it. Before my visit, I went onto the Pronovias website and took note of a few dresses I was extremely interested to try on. When I got to to the boutique, I felt an odd vibe. It was clearly a higer-end boutique, but I didn't feel any real warmth or felt welcomed at all by the staff at the front desk (my bridal consultant was very nice, however!!!). When I showed my consultant the list of dresses I was interested, I was very surprised to see that they had maybe 1 out of the 7 dresses I had written down, which was very disappointing. I did try on the dress that I had originally fallen in love with, but I did not fall in love with the fact that the Pronovias store was charging MORE for the dress (without the added beading) than the original boutique in CT was charging WITH the beading. It was a very odd experience for me. Although I do love Pr... Read more

  • Pronovias was the only vendor I had issues with during my wedding planning process. Due to TWO mishaps by Pronovias, I had to switch my gown less than two months away from my wedding date!! To put it lightly, the errors were incredibly stressful to deal with and I was left scrambling trying to find another style that I liked. The staff was, however, accommodating after I had expressed my extreme displeasure. On the plus side, Pronovias has a wide variety of styles, fabrics, embellishments, etc. and you can customize your gown (for a fee) if you wanted to. The dresses are reasonably priced for wedding gowns. I would say they’re a step above David’s Bridal in terms of budget but are much better quality. Given my issues with the New York flagship store, I would highly recommend their dresses but would strongly encourage you to buy them at another retailer!

  • I just got married in Pronovias this weekend. Although the style of the dress was exactly what I wanted I was very dissatisapointed with the quality. I ordered the Racimo in crepe and it was paper thin, not lined particularly well. It took twice as long to get my order as I was quoted. It’s a very simple design with one the the focal points being the buttons on the back. The fabric button covers did not even stay on the dress for first look photos. They began falling off immediately exposing the cheap looking plastic buttons. These were purely decorative (it zipped) and I can tell you I was incredibly careful. By the time I walked down the aisle most of them were gone. It seemed they were barely attached to the gown. If you already bought a Pronovias gown get some super glue... you’ll need it. At that price point it should be a sturdier design.

  • There are a lot of bad reviews floating around about the Pronovias Flagship store in NYC. I had my first appointment in June 2017 where I came specifically for the 2018 collection. They had the dresses I requested and my appointment was wonderful. It was during the week in the afternoon so they weren't too busy, I was not rushed or pushed and I purchased a dress that day after a nearly 2 hour appointment- it was awesome. The first fitting was a disaster. The dress was too small, dispite the fact I was exactly the same size (I know because they measured again). They tried to fix the dress and I was warry, but said "OK". My mom was with me at the appointment and decided to call the next day to speak to the manager because for the price, the dress should just fit. The manager was on the phone with her that day, agreed and they ordered another dress! The second fitting was great. The dress was taken in at all the right spots, just enough. I had some custom design ideas that th... Read more

  • NYC FLAGSHIP: am in love with my dress from Pronovias - absolutely gorgeous. My consultant listened to me and helped me get exactly the dress I was hoping for, so that process was great. Then, my first fitting came, and I absolutely loved the first seamstress. She was so nice and listened to me. Unfortunately, she got very ill and couldn't come to work anymore, so I got Marva at my second fitting, the head of alterations. She was awesome and really wonderful and listened - she said she was going to be my seamstress for the rest of my visits. On my third visit, I got Maria. Maria is so unfriendly and seems like she has no idea what she is doing. I asked for Marva and she was immediately offended. There were things that were wrong with my dress that I had asked be fixed at my second fitting, and Maria acted like I was completely unreasonable (it wasn't). Then, when we asked for help on how to do the bustle, she got SUPER impatient with my sister and was super rude. Hello, we'v... Read more

  • The dresses are beautiful but buyer beware! I ordered a dress from the 2018 Atelier line in April 2017 - my wedding is end of September 2017. They warted me that I might be short of time but that it should be OK. They took my measurements and wrote down specific requests about how high I wanted the "V" hem between the legs to go, etc. As this is the Atelier line, i.e. their more expensive "couture" line - I was expecting high end results. One month later my dress arrives with a tag that says "size 4." They charged me $4000 and gave me something off the rack - that now needs over $600 worth of tailoring - and not just basic hemming. The whole top of the dress, for example, needs to be completely redone because the boning in the corset sticks through and looks terrible. Not to mention that it is over a foot too long and all my specific requests had been ignored. Why take them down then? When I contacted them about it they were dismissive at best and refused to do anything. Once they got ... Read more

  • I have a hard time knowing how to write this review. The dress itself was spectacular. Triana who helped fit me and Elaina my seamstress could not have been better or more accommodating, especially given the snafus that surrounded things. That being said, my interactions with the store manager put such a bad taste in my mouth and left me frustrated that I can't completely recommend Pronovias. Pronovias botched the dress they sent me and I had to have a new one. I repeated frequently I came from out of town and had to fly in for my fittings. I was told I would hear from the manager. I did not and had to contact her. I was told that I would get a discount and on three separate occasions that did not occur. I was told that I would hear when my dress was in. I had to contact them. I was told they would combine fittings and make sure I had a veil fitting so I did not have to come back a fourth time. I emailed again to make sure this was done and was assured it was. I arrived for the final f... Read more

  • I loved my Ankara dress for my wedding. I felt so beautiful and it was beyond comfortable. What I did not like however was what was done to me when it was time for me to pick up my dress. The week before my destination wedding, I went for my second fitting due to my initial bridal consultant Rhina inputting the wrong information, despite me telling her I was having a destination wedding. I live in Washington DC and the trips I had to make to NY within the time frame were horrible due to that!! Anyways, when I met the second seamstress Elaine (who is amazing btw) there were things that had to be done that needed more than a weeks time but she promised me she would get them done and that she did! I made an appointment with my mother present for 11 am the following Friday and I was at ease. Next Friday comes and I get to Nyc from Washington ahead of schedule which is fine because I wanted to take my time. We get to Pronovias and I was then told that my appointment was for 2PM. That is... Read more
