  • I have had my ring from Pompeii for only a little over a year, and the diamond fell out. The ring has no wear and tear and no damage to the prongs. The diamond simply fell out and was lost. So, either it was a poor installation or the small crack in the diamond worsened, causing it to fall out. I purchase a warranty, so I thought I was covered. But the warranty basically covers nothing. So, no recourse. I would never recommend this company to anyone. A diamond should not fall out of a ring in a year. Terrible worksmanship.

  • Quality of diamond is not as advertised. Returned 2 times to try and make it right. 30 day guarantee ran out on the day that I received it. I had to go straight to the post office to return. I had ordered a G/s1s2..and we received J/I rating diamond. Don't waste your time or money. the 2 times I had to send back I was out $55.23 for postage and insurance. Last time they sent this supposedly $9,000 ring...they sent 1st class, no insurance. It was left in my mailbox. Do your homework. This use to be a good business years back. Also, They shorted the full refund $32.98.

  • I see a consistency in other reviews -- stones fall out all the time! My ring is a "forever ring" purchased through Amazon, thank goodness. The large stones were loose upon arrival and a side stone fell out within a month. I had to pay $77 (insurance and shipping) to return this ring for repair. Then another $15 to have it returned to me two months later. ONE WEEK later the stone fell out again! It was a hassle to get them to consider replacing the ring, let alone a complete refund which is what I really wanted. This company is a sham trading poor-quality jewelry with false credentials on the quality and severely overpriced for the product. Do not buy from them ever.

  • My son bought a engagement ring with a warrantee October 2019, he got engaged November 2019. December a diamond fell out of the ring he sent it back to the company they repaired it after 15 days of them having it send it back to my son, he gave it to his fiancé And the same diamond fell out again he sent it back to the company this time they had a close to three weeks. They had the ring longer then his fiancé had it on her hand. When we called the company Molly was the first girl we spoke with and then Kelly they could care less about the warranty or the amount of money my son spent and they kept putting me on hold or hanging up the phone. I highly recommend you go to a jeweler in person and not on the computer they have 32 complaint with the Better Business Bureau 33 including mine. They won’t return his warranty money and my son had to take the ring to redo and cost him twice the amount of money that he paid for originally.   • I ordered the ring,fast shipping included after order completed it showed shipping was after wedding date. 5 min. called to cancel. they wouldn't cancel and said not to sign to get money back. on Honeymoon when they stated it arrived in US mail without insurance. I didn't receive and they don't want to refund my money because they don't insure jewelry under 500.00. I don't have 400.00 to give to a company either because they don't insure there product.

  • This company switched my stones when I sent my rings in for repair. In Sept. 2019, I purchased 2 rings clarity VS. near colorless and within a couple of weeks both rings had a broken prong. I sent them in for repairs the first ring when I got it back the stones were brown and some very dark brown. the second ring I got a yellow stone back, So I posted reviews on a few websites with my experiences. I have Called and Emailed and used the Chat service with no response at all, They completely ignore me which leads me to believe this company is a Fake Scam company. I am filing a theft report. They took my money and NEVER sent me the product. the website only says "in production" The status never Changes.

  • This company does not honor their own FAQ's, shipping and processing practices. You cant ever get anyone on the phone. Via email, I was advised that the issue would be escalated and no surprise...I've heard nothing back. During a chat today..the rep refused to chat with me on the status of the item. Very poor. They wont even verify the amount of a refund. Very sketchy. Check BBB before you purchase!

  • We ordered a size 7 wedding ring from Pompeii and it was tight. We sent it back to resize it to 7.5. They sent back a size 7.5 of the smaller design wayyy cheaper than what we bought. We called sent emails no response. DO NOT BUY from this company!!!!! They are a RIP off!!!

  • Do not buy from this company!! A total scam!!! The ring that my fiancé proposed to me with was beautiful and I was so in love! Then one day, a diamond falls out, so of course I send it back to the company to get it replaced because it was still under their 180 day warranty. I was told this process would take 3-10 business days after they received it. During this time I emailed and called them several times, sometimes with no answer, and they were rude and didn't help me or answer my questions. They could not give me any answers as to why it was taking so long to get a tiny little diamond replaced. After basically a month later, I finally got "my" ring back. It wasn't even my ring! The diamonds were all different colors and clarities!!! It doesn't even match the wedding band that came with it now. I am furious and so disappointed.   • This company is actually the worst. My fiance bought me a $700 engagement ring from them, which was initially pretty, and turned out to be garbage with diamonds falling out left and right. I took it to a local jeweler willing to pay whatever for them to fix it, but they said it's past the point of being fixable, it's made so poorly that everything would have to be redone. My fiance had had the ring for over 30 days after purchasing it, waiting for the right time to propose, so returning it is not an option. So here we are $700 out, and heartbroken over the quality of an object that was supposed to symbolize our commitment to one another. Thanks Pompeii3!

  • I bought an engagement ring after few weeks the prong broke I send it in for repairs And the stone Was changed it Has a lot Of yellow now And it didn't before. I called them they want pictures I am worried. The same thing happened With my forever us ring when One of the prongs broke I send it in for repairs What I got back was shocking instead of color F I got back At best color K or L. They said they would remake this one but I'm afraid of what I will end up with. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. NO EXCUSES.

  • My fiance purchase a $4300 diamond ring with a center stone and diamonds around the center. In one week, one of the stones fell out. Pompeii3 stated that if the product was defective, they would refund. Pompeii3 has refused to refund our money. Do Not purchase from Pompeii3.
