  • I found Pinstripes Cleaning and Restoration after a google search for someone to clean my wedding dress. My dress had some slight staining throughout the lace and makeup stains after the big day. Bill was so friendly and knowledgeable over the phone. Patricia came to my home and picked up the dress. She was sweet to work with! Then Covid-19 hit during the delivery return time. They kept me updated and were willing to work with my schedule/comfort level. I waited a couple more weeks and then they delivered the dress to the front door. The pricing is reasonable and my dress looked like when I had first purchased. I definitely will recommend to friends and plan to use them in the future.

  • I recently had my wedding dress preserved with Pinstripes and was very pleased with the entire process. When I initially called, they walked through everything over the phone including details of the cleaning / preservation portion and an estimated cost. They scheduled a time to pick it up from my house, which was so convenient! It took a little over a week before I got a call that it was ready and they scheduled a time to drop it off, again at my house. Pinstripes did a wonderful job with my gown and veil, I was so happy with how it turned out including the box window presentation. I would highly recommend Pinstripes to anyone looking to get their wedding dress cleaned and preserved.

  • Loved using Pinstripes to clean my wedding gown! The price was very reasonable, and they are so accommodating. Bill was so easy to get in touch with, whether it was phone or email. He also scheduled pick-up/dropoff at times that were convenient for me. I love that he comes straight to your door instead of me having to go to a brick & mortar store. The convenience alone is well worth it.

  • After bridal pictures at a Cotton Mill, my daughter's dresses were dirty. Pinstripes saved the day - cleaning them perfectly before the wedding and then picking them up after to clean and preserve! They came to my house and picked up and were able to deliver all clean and pressed in perfect time!

  • After reading all the amazing reviews about Pinstripes, there was no other place I trusted to take my dress for cleaning and preservation. I gave them a call and they were able to give me an accurate quote based off the questions I answered which was nice. I called around to other places who gave me comparable quotes. I also liked how they come to your house to pickup the dress and drop it off once it’s finished! They did an amazing job and it’s beautifully presented in the box. Thank you Pinstripes!

  • Great service. Great before and after picture which helps reassure your preserved dress is indeed clean and stains removed. More than I would have liked to spend but they are local, handle your dress personally(no shipping it away somewhere else), they even pick it up and drop it back off at your residence. I would highly recommend.

  • Bill and his team were absolutely amazing. My dress was saved from a house fire (two months before my wedding) and had severe smoke smell (thankfully no other damage). By the time I got my dress back you couldn’t even smell the smoke! Thank you Bill and the rest of the staff at Pinstripes for saving my wedding dress!!!!

When I picked my dress up it looked as I just purchased it. I highly recommend them. Also from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and even exchange hugs :-)

I left a message one night while researching places to take my dress for cleaning, expecting a call back the next day during business hours. Bill called me back almost immediately, explained everything thoroughly, and I was sold. I was even a little late for my scheduled pick-up time, and they were still so kind. I got my dress back two weeks later, and it looks brand new again! I've already recommended them to a few friends!

Their lack of communication, and attention to detail made what should have been one of the most special moments of my wedding day, the worst part of my day. I will preface this with that I did speak with owner to try & find a resolution to my situation. The final solution offered to me, after first being offered a $50 credit towards a gown cleaning, was a $100 credit towards a gown cleaning. Laughable. Pinstripes was highly recommended to me by my alterations lady at Maybe Sew Alterations. The process was easy. I filled out an online submission, made an appointment to have my dress picked up, and the day of my appointment the girl showed up promptly. I explained to the girl that took my dress that I had 20+ bustles added to my dress and they were to remain bustled because there were so many and that is the way I wanted to wear my dress on my wedding day.     We at Pinstripes make every effort to deliver the very best in cleaning and preservation to each one of our brides, every time. Despite that we made a mistake in rescheduling the delivery incorrectly. The fault is mine as I spoke with the bride personally, and for that mistake I apologize whole-heartedly, as I did when she called me to voice her issues. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to investigate the matter when she called as she was quite upset and not in the mood to listen. There are many issues in this review to be addressed. Our most experienced pickup driver remembers this customer and her appointment. How pleasant she was at the appointment, how she had 2 boxers she played with, how she informed her of the multiple safety pins left in the gown. But absolutely maintains no words were spoken concerning not unbustling the gown. The bride may disagree but it is really academic because the last thing she recalls is that when looking through the gown extracting the safety pins was that the gown wasn’t bustled at all, and the safety pins were hanging in the loops of the unbustled ties. We take pics of every gown as it comes in the store before doing anything to it, and when we checked the pics, just as our associate recalled the gown was already unbustled. We did not unbustle the gown. Here’s the toughest part. Cleaning a gown bustled will almost always guarantees damaging the gown. So if our associate had been given that request she would have informed the bride that we can’t clean a gown bustled. The bustles and possibly the fabric will rip. Had we received that request back at the store we would have called the bride to let her know we must unbustle the gown in order to protect it. However since we didn’t and the gown was already unbustled when we received it, “the gown was cleaned and steamed perfectly.”, a quote the bride stated in her call to me but left out of her review. The bride went further claiming had we made the appointment correctly it would have never happened as we would have shown her the gown. I again apologized for the misstep in scheduling and of course stated we would of course never do that in front of the groom. At which point she accused me of turning it “back on her”. Not at all. Totally my mistake, but it is true that while you would have wanted to see the dress when it was delivered on-time but not if it was waiting for you when you got home? I offered the bride a credit back on her card of $100.00, more than half of what she was charged for cleaning the gown, but she would have none of it. I was not rude, although I just may not have been saying the words the bride wanted to hear. I tried to explain about the dangers of cleaning a gown bustled and how I would absolutely talk to the associate who picked up the gown. She insisted on her terms or nothing and I am forced to respond with the facts. Anytime we have an unsatisfied customer we consider it a failure of some sort on our part. I promise this has already been covered with our team to reinforce proper communication and scheduling procedures. The gown was beautiful and I’m sure the bride was as well.

  • I hired them to dry clean my gown before my wedding. She came to my house to pick it up, I explained to her that there are safety pins inside of the dress, my seamstress left them there to indicate where the bustle hook are. I even wrote a note and said please remove the safety pins before washing, and I mentioned it few times with her in person. She said "this is what I do, don't worry, of course we will remove the safety pins first". I trusted these people, so when my dress arrived, I thought of course there will be no safety pins inside. My wedding went really fast I didn't have time to check anyway. So after the ceremony, my girls were helping me with the bustle, they found a safety pin, bustle was done but it wasn't perfect, I thought maybe that's because it's too complicated or maybe they handled it too rough and one hook came off or something, we were on a schedule so I had to move along, so I went on with reception.     We try very hard to please each and every customer we serve. This bride had a very limited amount of time to get her gown cleaned before her wedding and in order to accommodate her we adjusted our schedule to pick up the gown from her as soon as it was available. It was a beautiful Mori Lee Polyester gown with many overlapping and tiered layers. When we picked up the gown the bride did let us know there were safety pins in the gown, which is why the pickup specialist removed them right there in front of the bride. We always keep an eye out for safety pins, straight pins and any other problems that may have been left by various people that have worked on or worn the dress. In fact on this dress we found and removed no less than a half dozen other safety pins left throughout the gown before we cleaned and steamed the gown. Unfortunately it sounds like we missed two. We deeply regret that they were not found but please understand when we get a gown with an unknown number of safety pins in unknown places left by your tailor we cannot be reasonably held responsible for not winning the hide and seek game they began and we didn’t ask to play. We try very hard on each gown and NEVER handle a gown roughly. We prep, wrap, batton, bag and band every gown to make sure they are protected and each gown is cleaned by itself, never with anything else. Hand steamed and delivered back to you in time for your wedding. If a single tack thread doesn’t survive the process, then it did not survive the most careful and gentle cleaning process possible. Again our apologies, but each of these issues had nothing to do with us or our process. It was a gorgeous gown. I’m sure you were a beautiful bride.
