  • We used them for our wedding and it added a lot of stress to an already stressful weekend. They were disorganized and unhelpful. I have never written a bad review in my life, but I’m writing this in hopes of saving future brides or party throwers from the stress I went through. The week of my wedding they called me to ask where to put the tent up, even though we had done multiple walk throughs of the venue (and they’ve worked with this venue in the past). They were so confused that they asked that I travel an hour and a half north to show them where to put the tent. They also ran their trucks over the big grass field where my wedding took place, making the entire thing very muddy and hard for our guests to walk through. They very easily could’ve driven on the side of the field rather than in the middle of it, and that would have been fine.     As a company that has been in business for nearly 20 years, we pride ourselves on our customer service and professional installations. When a customer calls and demands $1000 and threatens to write a bad review if they do not get it, we say BRING IT ON! This review could not be further from the truth. Let us take each complaint separately, shall we? 1. Customer claims that we were “confused” and wanted the customer to drive over an hour to show us where the tent was going. There were multiple walk throughs, and we knew exactly where the tent was being placed as the property could only accommodate her tents in one spot. However, it is customary that someone be onsite when we deliver so that they can inspect the items and sign for the delivery. This is not out of the ordinary. If the bride could not be there, then her coordinator or another representative needed to be onsite. But the bride, because she lives so far from the venue, refused to be there for the install. Nor did she have anyone there on her behalf. 2. Customer claims that we ran our trucks over the grass – again not true. The customer rented two 60’ wide tents that need to be installed with an articulated loader as well as a restroom trailer that is delivered by pickup truck. The property at the venue was extremely muddy as it had rained for many days prior to the install. We obviously have no control over the weather and our crew did their very best to install the tent and dance floor as well as place the restroom while causing minimum damage to the ground. The crew leader was in constant communication with the bride on the day of the install by phone and via text message as she was unable to be onsite. Pictures were sent to her, and it was communicated to her that the condition of the grounds was not ideal and extremely muddy. 3. The mats that were delivered to the site were discussed with the bride on the day BEFORE the wedding (not as she was getting ready as she claims in her review) and we have the text messages to prove it. She called our manager on duty late on Friday afternoon because she did not arrive to the venue until then and when she saw the condition of the grounds she panicked. The bride was looking for a solution to the problem of her guests having to walk through the mud to go from one tent to the other (even though we had recommended that she do one large tent instead of two separate ones for this very reason, but she refused as she wanted two tents). We were under no obligation to return to the site to try and remedy the problem with the muddy grounds. But, in an effort to help her out, we sent an employee as quickly as we could the next day to deliver the mats to cover the mud. The bride informed us that the wedding would begin at 4pm and we assured her that someone would be there before then. The fact that her coordinator continued to call while our driver was on the road had no bearing whatsoever on when the employee arrived. The venue is over 40 minutes away and we needed to have our driver deter from his route, come to our warehouse to pickup the mats and then drive them to her. He arrived with the mats well in advance of her wedding start time. Should we have done this at no charge? Of course, we added the mats to her invoice as any rental company would. 4. The dance floor had “clumps of tall grass sticking throughout the floor”. Again, because of the many days of rain that occurred prior to the install, the venue had not had their grass cut and therefore it was longer than usual. When the dance floor was installed, there were some blades of grass that were poking through the pieces of flooring. Again, we are not responsible for the ground conditions. Had the grass been cut prior to the install, this would not have occurred. However, a picture of the dance floor was texted to the bride during the installation to which she responded, “WHOA! It looks great!” 5. The bride claims that they were “appalled” by the issues. The bride actually sent a text message to the crew leader thanking him for his communication and help throughout the process. When all is said and done, the bride wanted to have a rustic outdoor wedding but was upset when the “outdoor” part of her wedding (rain, grass, etc.) was realized. We cannot control the weather nor property conditions and although the customer says that we did a poor setup, we have almost 20 years’ worth of customers who would beg to differ. What this all boils down to is that if the bride (or someone there on her behalf) was there on the day of the install, she would have been aware of the ground conditions and could have discussed options with our crew. When she was informed that the ground was muddy, she simply replied “fingers crossed” that it all dries out before the wedding. I guess her fingers came uncrossed.

  • Quote was clear and booking was simple. Set up and break down were seamless. Though I did have to give directions to both drivers even though the shop is one turn and about 5 min away. Not a big deal. Everything we rented was in great condition and I even added some fans to the order last minute which was easily accomodated.

  • After having to change everything for my daughters wedding because of covid it was so easy to work with Melissa. She helped me get what I needed together and answered all of my questions even on her vacation! I would use them again for my party needs.

  • The service at Party Time Rentals was exceptional! Darren and his staff were professional at all times and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Their tents were high quality and clean. From set up to take down Darren and his staff were outstanding. I definitely recommend using Party Time Rentals for any large scale event. Organized, helpful and quality service. Will definitely use them again!

  • Darren and Melissa had great customer service and prompt communication throughout. We both visited their showroom and corresponded easily through email back and forth, and allowed us to change our rental order fairly close to our wedding date. Their setup/breakdown crew, however, was a little less on point – they forgot a few minor items, they didn’t bring a tall enough ladder to set up the string lights in the tent, and they accidentally took another rental’s dishes after the wedding which was complicated while we were on our honeymoon. Aside from that, the inventory was exactly as expected and was delivered and set up on schedule.

  • Our wedding planner spent more time with PTR than we did but they were very cooperative when we had to make changes to our reservations. Linens, heaters, the tent were all easily changed. Speaking of the tent, we upgraded to the canvas tent and it was worth every penny. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was clean and in good condition, nothing looked "rented." They helped make our day perfect.
