  • Go to Paradise and see Matilde. Once she knew what I wanted she picked amazing gowns right up my alley it was so hard to choose! Amazing service, flexible hours. They helped me in the tail end of my search and were beyond accommodating. Matilde was personally available by cell phone answering any inquiries I had. She is fantastic.

  • I bought my wedding dress here 33 years ago. Now 33 years later, I told my future daughter-in-law to try them. She was so happy she did. All the ladies that work there are so warming and make you feel welcome in their store. You get a more personal touch there, as if your family. My daughter-in-law was extremely happy with the whole experience. I even found a dress to wear for my son's wedding. Matilda asked me what I like, so I told her my style and she picked a dress she knew I would love. She was right! Then Patty took my hollow hem, so I wouldn't have to pay extra in alterations. Cilia is a genus behind her sewing machine. I told her I didn't like the neck to be too high, so she worked her magic and my dress was created how I envisioned it.   • My experience at Paradise Bridals was very special and completely without incident. My saleslady was Patty. She nailed my style. I think she knew me better than I know myself. Patty was always there to help with all my fittings and even gave me her personal cell phone number, I don't know if this is typical of all the staff at Paradise Bridals. I will say this, everyone there treated me and my family amazing. I can't say enough about my very special and wonderful experience. Thank you to Patty and all the nice ladies. and one real nice man I think his name is Richard, for your help and dedication to my wedding.

  • Let me start by saying I was a very nervous bride, I shopped for bridal gowns for over a year, visiting for than 20 bridal salons. I was very reluctant to commit to a gown always thinking there was something better out there or a better "DEAL" at another bridal shop. I visited Paradise Bridals over 2 years prior to my wedding, The service was wonderful, the gowns were beautiful the prices were great, but I just was not ready to take the plunge and order a gown. I called Paradise Bridals countless times looking for particular style numbers of gowns that I had tried on at other shops, I was on a strict budget and needed to get the best price. While I was calling Paradise, I was also calling every other store on Long Island. The difference with Paradise Bridals is that they called me back, they answered my questions and tried to help me.   • Overall experience was wonderful!!! I would highly recommend Paradise Bridals. This is a busy bridal salon, so be prepared to have a bit of a wait tie for alterations. Vera is amazing, a genuinely kind and wonderful lady. She listened to all my concerns and completely made me feel confident that everything would be perfect. Sure enough it was. She addressed every issue I had, and believe me there were plenty. I lost about 25 pounds from when I purchased the gown until my first alteration. So there was plenty of work to be done. I was completely happy with the finished gown!!! I highly recommend Vera and Paradise Bridals.

  • Everything about my experience was above and beyond amazing! I couldn’t find my dream lazaro dress anywhere and I called Paradise and they had it. I was so excited and I ran right there to see it. Patty greeted me with a hug and brought me to the dress. It was amazing but way over budget, Patty tried everything to find a dress I would love that was in my budget. I ended up going with the lazaro because nothing compared. Patty was there every step of the way! She came in on her days off to be with me during my fittings. I actually cried saying goodbye to her. You will not be disappointed!!

  • We purchased everything for our November 3rd wedding at Paradise Bridals. We strolled in to Paradise Bridals almost 2 years ago on freezing Sunday morning. We had a long wait for a table to have breakfast. The men waited and the girls took a walk down to Paradise Bridals. We were just killing time. Never did I expect to find the gown of my dreams. I was warmly greeted by Patty and Cherise. I will never forget how cold it was that day. They were just getting the store opened and invited us in to sit and warm up. I told Patty that we were waiting for a table at Toast and we were just looking. She said that's ok come on in and browse. I had never been to Paradise Bridals and had no idea how big this store is. It does not look big from the front. I have lived in Patchogue my whole life, but never went there. I ended up buying my bridal gown on that zero degree Sunday.   • 1. After my half deposit was made I was pressured into ordering. I put my foot down and SAid it was wayyy to early to stop. 2. When the dress get discontinued I was patronized for not ordering sooner. I spoke my mind and said that is not ok to talk to me like that. I was cut off when I was speaking and had to say I listened to you now you listen to me. Stop interrupting me. 3. When it was time to make the alterations.... NO one, not even the managers I was dealing with told me I needed to make a pick up appointment. Understand that I stated more that 5 times when I was so pick it up. Not one person told me and note I don’t live close. 4. When I called to pick it up on said time frame I was informed since I did not make an appointment the dress was not ready. This set me back another month and half. 5.   • This is not the place to go for Tuxedo rentals. My husband had gotten his tux from there and he had nothing but problems. First out of all the guys, his was the last to come in after being the first one ordered. When he had called to find out if his tux was in he had to call back a few times because no one was in the tux department and no one could answer if his tux was in our not. When he was finally told it was in he went in and tried it on to find out it didn't fit. With two days before the wedding they had to order another jacket, and vest. Luckily, they came in the next day and it fit. Once he brought it home and went to put on the tux for the wedding. The pants that had fit when he had tried them on, now did not. The adjustment clasp was broken, therefore, he had to staple his pants to keep them up. Luckily our Maitre D had safety pins and was able to pin them up.   • I would first like to point out how I think its very strange that this vendor has a 3 star rating, yet all their reviews seem to be 5’s??? Could someone possibly be deleting their bad reviews? I THINK YES. Anyway, like I explained in the title above.. this has been a great experience for me except for the store manager. Her unprofessional manner has led me to write this review. Coming from a stressed bride who has many other things on her mind. So, My mother and I went to pick up my dress from the seamstresses house a few days ago. I tried it on, it looked great and we we’re getting ready to leave when the seamstress asked if we paid for the alterations. I was sure we did the week prior (let me remind you, I’ve been paying different vendors all week so yes, it was VERY POSSIBLE that my mother and I forgot) Anyway, we asked the seamstress if she could call the store to confirm this.   • I will start by saying that my dress was everything I wanted. I first went in and Cindy helped me. She was amazing. I didn’t personally have any issues with them besides the long waits every time I went in and nobody really acknowledging me being there. My bridesmaids felt the same way. My mom ordered her dress from here in the beginning of January. When she called in July to find out about her dress, they said it would come in second week of September. My wedding was third week of September. They said they would accommodate her right away for alterations and they didn’t. She went somewhere else and her dress ended up being perfect. But it was a hassle. For the groomsmen and fathers, the suits weren’t really sized right. My husband had to get a new size overnighted which is hard on the nerves.   • I am extremely disappointed in my decision to purchase my dress from Paradise Bridals. The only reason I am giving them a 2 for professionalism is because of a wonderful woman Tiffany who works there. My terrible experience started when my dress was 2 weeks later than they originally told me it would be in. I am not sure if this is because they forgot to order it, or because the designer was running behind schedule like they told me. When my dress finally did come in, it was AT LEAST 1 size too big, if not 2. I had at least an inch worth of fabric on both sides of me that needed to be taken in. Even the seamstress kept saying "this is going to be so much work" Of course they tried to schmooze me by asking me "Did you lose weight?" when in reality, I have been the same weight for years and they were just trying to cover up the fact that they completely ordered the wrong size.   • Matilda sold me my dress, she knew EXACTLY what i was looking for, i fell in love with the first one she pulled for me. She was personable, kind and helpful. My dress came in roughly 10 months later (they told me this prior to ordering and it was way before my wedding date). Unfortunately the length was too long and bottom was see through (didnt know this when buying it) as it was an issue with the dressmaker. Patty and Matilda worked hard to make sure that the designer fixed the problem for me and at no cost to me. They certainly did right by me and i couldnt be happier. Thank you guys, i cant wait to wear my dress on my big day!

  • I loved loved loved my dress! But I would have gotten it from a different vendor. I had a few issues with my accessories and due to their policy they were not very accommodating and would not return or exchange the headpiece ordered that cost over $500. They insisted it was the one I ordered during the trunk show but my mother and I both did not feel it was. When we brought this issue up as soon as we opened the box; they were very nasty and it took a few days to get any type of help with the situation. We had no problem paying the money for the hairpiece it if was something that we actually ordered. Rosie did take some time out of a couple days to help with adjusting the headpiece so that it would look better and closer to what I thought was ordered. Her and Donna were the only two people I really enjoyed working with and were understanding. We cut off about a third of its length and then took about half the crystals off.
