We did three tastings and Paprika catering was by far the tastiest, had the best presentation, and was the most affordable. We got married out on the coast pretty far from everything so choices were slim. Most catering companies refused to do a wedding so far away, and others charged exorbitant offsite prices.
1. The quality of the food is spectacular. They use fresh ingredients and source much of it locally. We were originally thinking about doing buffet style to save on costs but the presentation was so beautiful at the tasting we couldn't pass it up. The first course was a pesto stuffed tomato and cucumber roll. They had the pesto stuffed tomato at the tasting and I loved it, and I got the idea to pair it with a cucumber roll from a photo I saw on Pinterest, and they incorporated it no problem. The main course was a choice of salmon or steak, and they were both done exceedingly well. I worried that the meat and fish would be overdone as they usually are at large events, but I was a... The kids' meals were pretty large portioned sliders - three large sliders were way too big for all the kids, I wonder if you could ask for two and get a discounted price. One really special thing that we did was a crepe bar during the cocktail hour - it's something that they specialize in that added a lot of character to the reception.
2. The company was extremely professional. I did not give full points for responsiveness because they were not as responsive as I would have liked several months in advance, often taking several weeks or several tries on my end to get back to me. However, once we got within a month of the wedding they made me the priority. To top it off, our contact had a baby two weeks before our wedding and the transition to a new contact was as smooth as could be hoped for and everything was wonderful.

We had a simple wedding with hors d'oeuvre and it is not easy to find a caterer that will take a smaller job like that and make it elegant and delicious. Very flexible menu for a variety of tastes.
