  • The venue itself was very accomodating. The food was delicious and I'm still getting compliments on the beautiful view. I am, however very displeased with my wedding coordinator, Midra. A week prior to my wedding, we discussed cocktail hour beginning at 6pm. I arrive to the venue at that time, and people are still setting up, there is no food and my guests were waiting in the hallways and outside. They were not greeted with a glass of champagne as promised. I was completely enraged, and instead of trying to resolve the issue, she was combative with both myself and my wedding planners. She also did not deliver on the decor aspect, however, that is not the venue's fault and I cannot hold that against them. What I can say is, if you have a different coordinator, your event will turn out beautifully. The wait staff is lovely, as was the onsite videographer. All in all, I'd recommend them, just be careful when assigned a coordinator.

Due to the fact that the non-in-house event planners informed the venue about a last minute change in time, the venue was flexible enough to accommodate in a timely manner. As for the early arrival of guests, the staff quickly picked up and opened the cocktail hour room while courteously passing out the champagne. While addressing the issues, the planners were not cooperative. The venue and the staff made sure that the event went as planned. It is not the venues fault for the disorganization of the planners. As a courtesy, we included a complimentary video which was filmed by our in-house cinematographer. As anyone can see, it was beautifully done. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. https://www.facebook.com/reel143/videos/1335976699859028/?hc_ref=ARQ_j6ZMo1p-mEkAJD96XByoRyqS9WU-lovRJPxjATLSosUGa2AHnReOtYUoGxEW4aM

  • Midra And The Staff Work Good Under Pressure When Handling A Wedding Remember They’re Not Mind Readers So Communicate What You Envision Your Wedding To Be. Staff Was understanding And Helpful Whenever I Needed Something. Our Wedding Was A Muslim Wedding So It’s Like Dealing With 2 Seperate Wedding I Felt Like They Answered The Call Plus The Scenery Was Very Nice :)

  • I had my wedding at the Palisadium on Sept 3. It was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I have received so many compliments about the views and the food. My only issue was with the bridal attendant we were assigned to. I felt that she was not very helpful and neglected my bridal party as well as myself. Other than that, the Palisadium is a wonderful venue and would recommend it. Thank you Palisadium for making our day so memorable.

  • Palisadium happened to be a venue that popped up on my facebook feed, soon after I posted that I was engaged. It was the 1st place we viewed and after looking at 4 other places, we AGREED it was the place. Stephanie was fantastic. We book about 18 months in advance (bc I was adamant on having a winter wedding & the upcoming winter was too close) Stephanie kept in touch throughout the 18 months of planning. She provided quick responses and advice for any issues I had. The weekend of the wedding Stephanie was more than understanding when a few hiccups came. She was helpful, resourceful, basically she was Batman or Superman of the day. I couldn't have asked for a better event coordinator to work with. Her bubbly spirit, fabulous personality, she help calm me when I was freaking out due to a "makeup" boo-boo on my dress. We got it resolved and she did everything necessary to make sure to "hiccups" of the moment didn't make the day! I am so happy everything was successful and my guest ar... Read more

  • I just had my wedding here in June and what convinced me was the view. From the moment I stepped into the skyline ballroom it took our breathe away and we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. As if the venue wasn't enough, the service was spectacular and the food was delicious. We're still getting compliments on the amazing cocktail hour. Erika was amazing every step of the way, she helped us from a-z and was such a sweet girl.

  • I had my ceremony and reception at the Palisadium venue and it was absolutely amazing. They were very attentive and willing to accommodate all of our requests. Patrice even went as far as sewing back on my tuxedo button that had just popped off moments before the ceremony. The venue is beautiful with a view that can't be beat and their food is delicious. The entire staff from top to bottom was very personable, courteous and helpful. All of our guests left extremely happy as they said this was the best wedding they had been to in years and I can certainly attribute that to the Palisadium.

  • I absolutely loved everything about Palisadium. The outdoor space is amazing, as is everything inside. My husband and I knew we wanted to get married outdoors, but we (of course) also wanted to make sure we liked the backup ceremony space. Palisadium was the only venue we visited that had us debating which space was better to use! Weather permitted us to have the ceremony outdoors, but both spaces are truly stunning. But, we chose this venue not only because we loved the aesthetic of every inch of the place, but also because of the staff. The staff are truly amazing people to work with and they made all the difference in our wedding planning experience. We got a lot of compliments from our guests on the venue as well. They really enjoyed the balcony (we had a cigar bar available to them out there) and the incredible views at sunset. Many of them used the word "magical" to describe the day, and I definitely attribute much of that to the setting. I would highly, highly recommend this v... Read more

  • We selected Palisadium to celebrate my daughter's Mermaid-themed Quinceañera for nearly 200 guests. It has the most gorgeous view of NYC from their Skyline room - an absolutely beautiful space for large parties. The food was pretty good and the service from bartenders and wait staff was excellent. What I love most about Palisadium is all of the options that are included in their package at no additional cost including ornate linens (not just the standard polyester kind), use of the piano, uplighting, and pipe & drapes. When we were done decorating, the space looked AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS!!! On the down side, they have a lot of staff turnover, so the Manager I signed the contract with left about 6 months before my party, and the head bartender I was working with left days before our event. That said, their replacements were fantastic. The only real complaint that I have is that the owner is very, very difficult, and not flexible at all. I initially selected a 50/50 split so that adults... Read more

  • We had our wedding at the Palisadium recently and it was absolutely wonderful. The view of New York City from the Skyline and Riverview Ballrooms is just amazing. Floor to ceiling windows and a balcony? How could that be better? The food was spectacular. The quality (and quantity!) was even better than I hoped. Everyone was raving about the cocktail hour and venetian table in particular. The entree portions for our sit down dinner were massive and nobody left hungry. Midra, our venue contact, even arranged for “to go” cups of coffee to be served as our guests left. She, and the waitstaff, also arranged for food from the cocktail hour to be put in one of the bridal suites so that we could enjoy the food before we were announced. We were truly well-taken care of! If there was anything negative it was that communication between us and the various venue contacts that we had felt somewhat lacking. I had to sometimes send a couple of follow up emails in order to receive a respons... Read more

  • Beginning with our initial encounter with Patrice (coordinated our event), my husband and I had an unforgettable experience having our wedding at The Palisadium. A few of the details that made a big difference in the ease and flow of our day were having the entire venue (3 banquet rooms, a bridal suite and groom's suite, and outdoor area), having it for the whole day as of 10AM, and having Patrice there for the entire event coordinating and delegating throughout the day. The best part of The Palisadium is definitely the view though- it is absolutely breathtaking both during the day and at night. I would highly recommend this venue to other couples looking for a wedding venue!

  • Let me start off and say the food is great! My guests all loved the food. The views are spectacular and the overall place is gorgeous. Food and venue get 5 stars! However, wedding coordinator was not as accommodating and the overall experience working with staff has just been disappointing. The coordinator just didn't care about making sure the day went smoothly. Throughout the night, she was just MIA. Honestly, I don't even know her name. We had booked the venue about a year out and a couple months before the wedding, we're told Jennifer is no longer working here so we were given Patrice to work with. Two weeks before the wedding, Patrice no longer works there and given this new person. Stuff happens and staff leaves, but this new person was just unaccommodating. She didn't show up for our rehearsal, and the morning of the wedding, this person wasn't there at 10am, which is when it opens. I had left all the centerpieces and some other things with the setup crew. I asked him to have ... Read more

  • Palisadium's decor does a lot by itself. So it helps you if you're on a budget. However, we did not appreciate the lengthy response time (upwards of 1 week) when we tried to get in touch with our point person of contact whether via phone call or email. At times when you do get a response, the answers seemed to beat around the bush or were unclear and then confuse both party's involved. Because of their lack of explanation we ended up having to pay extra for items we could have included in the initial bill. We also didn't appreciate that if we( in this case, myself and bridal party) didn't go into the ceremony space and look we would never realize that there were no flowers or decorations running down the isle or at the alter. Also if we didn't make a requests for some light refreshments and finger food we wouldn't have received any. Though the planning process for myself was not as stressful as it could have been, at times it still was unpleasant and left a sour taste in my mouth. Ev... Read more

We would like to apologize about the communication level involved in the process of your event. Due to the fact that your former sales associate/ planner was no longer working with us, it was mandatory for us to make sure that all events left behind were taken care of as they should have initially including yours. Furthermore, the decorations and any other extra accommodations were all courtesy of the Palisadium. The Palisadium does not provide any decoration or extra accommodations, as it is mentioned on the contract. Decorations and such are done by a florist or professional decorator, the Palisadium included these decorations with no charge and our staff did the best that they can although the Palisadium is not entitled on providing any. We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and had a magnificent night. It seemed like everyone was very grateful and pleased that day in which people commented on the stupendous service. We thank you.
