  • We had our perfect wedding here. The venue is beautiful and the views are stunning. There was so much food, with everything delicious. The service was especially good, our guests were so taken care of. Thank you for making this day so special! We couldn't have imagined a better event.

  • We had a 350 person wedding and absolutely loved the Palisadium! The atmosphere was gorgeous having a direct look at the NYC skyline! The food was great (at least my guests said it was haha!) and the bridal attendant made sure we had whatever we needed! Everyone had an incredible time! Thank you again!

  • That was our first party at Palisadium. Our venue coordinator Erika Nina was extremely helpful, highly professional, patient, kind, nice, understanding and gave us very useful information and advises. During our several meetings with her she made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We trusted her and she kept all her promises. Our guests enjoyed the food, venue and service. We would highly recommend the venue and personally Erika as event coordinator.

  • my wedding is coming up in july but i have to say that working with Erica Nina has been the best experience that i have had so for,she has been beyond patient with me. i have had a lot of questions and pop up without notice and it has been ok with her. Erica understands that this is a special day and listens very carefully to every detail and again has a lot of patience and is happy to do whatever it takes to make this day a special day. Thank you Erica cant wait to give you another review after my wedding day.

  • The Palisadium was a unique and special venue for our wedding! We just got married on June 17th 2018 and it couldn’t have gone more perfect thanks to the amazing crew! They always emailed and called us back whenever we had a question and were very flexible regarding our schedule. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any other event.

  • I will definitely recommend the palisadium for any event. Erica was an excellent help through the entire wedding planning. The food is excellent, the service the location and the NYCity view it’s breathtaking.

  • The food was sparse and not what we paid for. While our wedding coordinator, Erika, was amazing, it was obvious that her hands were tied when trying to figure out how to do anything out of the box at all. We ended up having our wedding there because the view is nice, they have kosher food, and Erika was beyond helpful. But the quality is just bad in every other way. The owner, Sheila, is not into customer service. They kept the top of our cake until we got back from our honeymoon, but then the freezer "broke". Erika ordered us another tier and again, something went wrong and it went bad. ok. then there was the custom cake topper that the workers threw away. Erika tried to make it up to us by getting the money ($25) from the boss to re-order it for us, but the owner refused. Then she was fired a few days later. She was so nice that she actually offered to pay out of her own pocket in the end. but of course we refused because the venue should pay, not her. a few weeks later i went over t... Read more

    Julie, We would like to apologize for not being able to exceed your expectations on such an important day. We’ve had good feedback from many of guests who attended your wedding. We are very sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our food and service, as we work very hard to make sure our customers are happy. To clarify we kept the cake top in our freezer for several weeks after your wedding and after the freezer broke we ordered a new one which was never picked up. A check for $25 was issued to you after our conversation. We would also like to clarify that Erika was not fired, she resigned. Again please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and we thank you for your feedback.

  • I initially booked this venue because it was large and close to my family and affordable compared to others. but wish I didn't pick him and I tell all my friends and family this. there were so many things wrong with this place. for starters they assigned me a person that they fired 3 months before my wedding and everything was a chaos. there was no handoff and I had to basically start all over 3 months before my wedding- which is not ideal for the bride. they were terrible at returning phone calls and emails. getting anything done was so stressful. on the wedding day the people who are supposed to be serving me and my bridesmaids were rude as hell and absent. save yourself the trouble and the stress. pay a little extra.

    It is always important to hear the feedback from our guests. We are sorry that we were not able to meet or exceed your expectations on such an important day. Your wedding was one year ago and we really wish we knew about this earlier. Both Midra and Erika, who assisted you with your wedding are no longer with the company. We received many complains in regards to them not responding to phone calls, emails and overall not doing their job. Since then we hired new staff and are working very hard to meet and exceed every expectation of our clients. Palisadium strives to make every event here a memorable one for our guests.   • Erika was fantastic. We wish she ran the place. Sending payment to the venue was like dealing with mafia thugs. They barely take CC for payment and even then its only for part of the deposit. Everything else is a wad of cash or cashiers check only. Its 2018, who does that anymore?? Also their bakery vendor did not deliver on our request. Their new food vendor Sili Point for Indian food was incredible though. The food was incredible.

    We greatly appreciate you choosing the Palisadium to host your special event. As per the contract, credit card payments are only allowed once and cannot be for the full amount. For our customer’s convenience, we also allow wire transfers. It is unfortunate, that the bakery did not deliver upon your request.   • We had an absolutely beautiful wedding experience at The Palisadium. The venue is stunning, with a gorgeous view of the Manhattan skyline. The venue has a large, beautiful, well lit room for a reception that can fit hundreds of guests comfortably for dinner and dancing. It has a beautiful indoor room for the ceremony as well as an outdoor lawn. They allow you to decide the morning of your wedding whether to hold the ceremony indoors and outdoors, which is fantastic. They also give you someone on the day of to help make things go smoothly. They take care of all the catering and desserts. We had almost 300 people and the day went beautifully, almost without a hitch. They worked well with our vendors, including the band, photographer, videographer, and florists. They allow you to extend your wedding past the hours you paid for, but know that you need to pay for that on the spot with a check or cash.     We are thrilled to know that you had a beautiful wedding experience with us. We greatly appreciate all the great comments on the experience and service that were provided by us. As planning a wedding is stressful, we strive in helping with these struggles. It is unfortunate to hear that there are a few disappointments as we attempted to make this process as smooth as possible. From hours on the phone, meetings with cater, Rabbi, coordinator, several food tastings etc. in order to assure that the menu and event succeeded and satisfied 300 guest. It was not an easy request to create a vegan menu that was Kosher as items had to be verified by Rabbi. We thank you for the patience and really hoped that you and your guest had a great experience.

  • The venue itself was very accomodating. The food was delicious and I'm still getting compliments on the beautiful view. I am, however very displeased with my wedding coordinator, Midra. A week prior to my wedding, we discussed cocktail hour beginning at 6pm. I arrive to the venue at that time, and people are still setting up, there is no food and my guests were waiting in the hallways and outside. They were not greeted with a glass of champagne as promised. I was completely enraged, and instead of trying to resolve the issue, she was combative with both myself and my wedding planners. She also did not deliver on the decor aspect, however, that is not the venue's fault and I cannot hold that against them. What I can say is, if you have a different coordinator, your event will turn out beautifully. The wait staff is lovely, as was the onsite videographer. All in all, I'd recommend them, just be careful when assigned a coordinator.

    Due to the fact that the non-in-house event planners informed the venue about a last minute change in time, the venue was flexible enough to accommodate in a timely manner. As for the early arrival of guests, the staff quickly picked up and opened the cocktail hour room while courteously passing out the champagne. While addressing the issues, the planners were not cooperative. The venue and the staff made sure that the event went as planned. It is not the venues fault for the disorganization of the planners. As a courtesy, we included a complimentary video which was filmed by our in-house cinematographer. As anyone can see, it was beautifully done.
