  • We had a wonderful wedding reception at the Orlando Airport Marriott Lakeside. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and everything went as planned. Our reception was held at Capri Ballroom which is extremely elegant. Our guests keep talking about how good the food was during the cocktail hour as well as the reception. They offer a package deal that it's hard to beat by any competitor. We had lovely accommodations in the luxurious presidential honeymoon suite. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Prior to coming to the Marriott, I had looked at other venues. However, I had a hard time hearing back from those other venues. I feel fortunate to have contacted the Orlando Airport Marriott Lakeside. The catering manager, Lillian Ruiz de Porras, replied to my email right away and called me to introduce herself.   • Eva and the rest of the Marriott staff made everything perfect. The food for the dinner was awesome and perfectly prepared and they were sure to make sure that the meals for both my wife and I were kept warm and then sent to our room since we did not have time to enjoy it during the reception. Eva and crew did not miss a single detail.

  • We had the perfect wedding here! The hotel was very accommodating to our guests. The size and location made it convenient but still very special. You would never know that you were at an airport hotel. Our ceremony was beautiful on the Capri lawn.

  • Superb coordination and excellent team. Coordinators find solutions to assist in making the event a success. Eva and the banquet staff were proactive and sensitive to our needs. Sales team was great in outlining options. It could not have been better.

  • I held my wedding at this hotel and my coordinators were very responsive and eager to answer all my questions and I had a lot as I was living and working in another state. I especially valued the tasting session which was held on black Friday to accommodate me and my husband. We and a few other family members got to sample all the foods on the wedding menu and also see all the swatches and styles available for the table decor. The senior coordinator also walked me around the premises and gave me photo op suggestions to pass on to my photographer! That came in very handy! It was a great location since I had a lot of family traveling in from other states and countries and it was only like 10 mins from the airport. I had a block of rooms reserved and held both my wedding and reception there so there was no stress of traveling in between locations.   • We used the Marriott for our wedding as well as our pre-wedding dinner. Rebecca was in charge of organizing everything for us, and she did a great job. Everything ran incredibly smoothly, and we had no complaints about how things went on our wedding weekend. Our only issue with the Marriott was the food. They did try to work with us to create a custom entree, but it didn't really turn out like we had tasted prior to the wedding. The food that they provided from their usual menu was fine, and the cocktail hour appetizers were really good. They also allowed us to bring in our own wine, but they did charge a high corkage fee. Overall, it was a good value, and we felt very comfortable with the highly professional and helpful staff.

  • Eva and her team were fantastic!!!! From the bridal suite, to the small details of the reception, to Brian and the food service, as well as the amazing menu they put together. There were only 2 issues I had during the entire process. (neither of these were Eva or her team's fault) 1. We had a lot of family members and friends arrive on thursday, friday and saturday. I brought in all of the welcome bags earlier in the week, so everyone would receive their bag upon checking in. However, they lost the entire box of them wednesday and thursday but didnt notify me. 2. I only gave them permission to charge a specific amount to one credit card, the rest was to be on a separate credit card. However, the business department did 2 separate transactions on the same credit card and when we returned back from the honeymoon our bank account was negative thousands of dollars. This created numerous fees and they would not do anything to reimburse us for the acquired fees. Very disappointing... Read more

  • I had an outdoor evening wedding ceremony with a private family reception. I was very pleased with the Wedding Planners willingness to to work within our budget and help us create a unique and beautiful wedding. The catering staff was very responsive to our ethnical and dietary needs. Being from a spanish background we wanted the flavors of our culture to be present in our dishes. Since the ceremony was late in the evening we went for light finger foods that would satisfy without being too heavy and too expsensive. My husband and I got everything we asked for and then some. My photographer said "this is the best food I've ever had at a wedding."

  • Beautiful venue and a great team. There were a few communication snafus early on in the planning, but day-of the crew was on point and our event went beautifully- and in the end isn't that what matters? The venue is pretty all inclusive - spaces (indoor and outdoor) for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even the rehearsal dinner. Their food is ASTOUNDING. Seriously some of the best I've ever had in my life. Event staff are kind and accommodating. They were very willing to work with all the food and bar options to mix and match and fit our budget. We had a minimum require expenditure, and were within a $1.28 range of it at the end of the whole event. Ultimately we had a very positive experience working with them, and would definitely suggest them. Thank you Eva for making our event so wonderful!
