  • Lexi at the Northville Hills Golf Club was just wonderful through the whole process of planning our wedding reception! She was organized and helped with all the decisions which have to be made to plan the event. The venue was clean and beautifully appointed. We chose a buffet dinner and our guests raved about how delicious the food was. Lexi and the staff at Northville Hills were very professional and we were absolutely pleased with how responsive they were to our needs. We wholeheartedly recommend Northville Hills for your big event!

  • Northville Hills did a fantastic job with our wedding reception! The service we received from them was excellent, both in the planning phase and on the day of the wedding. At the time of our wedding, the banquet manager was Jessica Conlin. She was great to work with, although she no longer works at Northville Hills now. However, her replacement was there on the night of the wedding observing and helping out. Hopefully the new banquet manager will be just as good and have a similar system for planning and executing wedding events. We were provided with a very thorough planning form and all details of the reception were carefully discussed in three planning meetings (food tasting a few months before the wedding, one-month meeting, and 7-day meeting). Northville Hills is a slightly smaller venue, with a maximum capacity of 200 people. We had about 185 guests so our wedding filled the room to capacity.   • We had our reception at Northville Hill Golf Club and we we're very impressed. The dining room was so beautiful, the food was fantastic(a lot of our guests were talking about it the next day), the staff members were very helpful and organized. Diane and Jessica definitely knew what they were doing and helped us along the way to plan the perfect evening. I was living in Colorado at the time, and they were very accommodating and made time to visit with me whenever I was back in Michigan for a weekend. When our wedding party arrived at the reception before our entrance, Diane and Jessica we're right there, getting our drink orders and letting us know the plan for our entrance. The night ran so smoothly and I credit a lot of that to them. We we're very happy with our decision. To use Northville Hills Golf Club and I would highly recommend it to anyone else planning their wedding!

  • I had my wedding shower here and was very happy with the service. I was looking for a rustic theme so the wood beams worked out perfect! We had the guys in the bridal party go golfing and show up towards the end which worked out well. We also wanted to have a pie table and they were very understanding and allowed us to bring our own desert. Staff was professional and attentive.

From the food to taking individual care with our vendors, the entire process was seamless and done with such professionalism. I would highly recommend Northville Hills to anyone looking for a spectacular venue with exceptional food, service, and care.

  • We honestly cannot believe how absolutely perfect our wedding reception was at Northville Hills. It was everything we thought it would be and more. Diane was so helpful, patient and willing to do just about anything we needed to make the day go smoothly. We have gotten so many compliments about how beautiful our venue was and how awesome the food was! Thanks again to the staff of Northville Hills for making our special day so amazing!

  • Exceeded my expectations! Mandy was a joy to deal with. She made sure we considered everything in the planning. Once the day arrived all we had to do was have a great time! The venue was absolutely gorgeous. The wait staff was friendly, professional and happy to help in any way. The food was hot and served on time. The beer and wine were top notch, not some cheap version. We couldn't be happier with the service and quality we received!

  • This venue is amazing. It fit our 122 guests perfectly. The food was amazing, everything was exactly how we had imagined. Mandy was an amazing planner to work with, and Diane helped make sure everything was perfect. I would recommend this venue for weddings, as well as baby showers which I have previously done and will do in the future! The whole staff was phenomenal and helped make our special day perfect!

  • Northville Hills Golf Club was the perfect place to have our wedding. My husband and I looked at 15 other venues, and after our meeting with them, we both walked out knowing that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding. It was the perfect size for us (we had 140 guests), and it offered a quaint and intimate setting. We also had our wedding ceremony outside of the venue and it was just beautiful! We cannot give enough thanks to Emily Anderson and the Northville Hills Golf Club staff for helping in making our special day exactly what we had hoped it would be and more!

  • I'll start by saying that everything worked out well. It worked out well despite the fact that if you want to speak to the general manager, who is your wedding coordinator and paid 20% or so of the venue price, you actually have to drive to the venue because she will not return your phone calls. However, during the event, Diane was on point! The food was served hot, delicious, and in an orderly fashion and the bride and groom were taken care of a very well. While we had our reservations regarding the venue, everything went extraordinary well. One must realize that they cater to the golfing clientele and not necessarily to the wedding or event side of things as, for instance, the bride is sequestered in the bathroom where guests are coming in Freely and flushing toilets while pictures are being taken and you sign your marriage license in the Pro Shop on the counter.   • I had my wedding at Northville Hills this summer. It truly is a beautiful location, the room looks fabulous and the outside area has the beautiful fountain. The staff was very attentive and even set a few of each appetizer on our table in front of the groom and me. That being said, it's a beautiful location but with terrible management. I started my process with Mandy, but once she left I was solely working with the general manager of the entire club. I would have to call/email multiple times to ever hear back from her. However, her hand was always out when it came to payments. We were supposed to have a call a week prior to the event and I waited for her to email me to set it up, but never did. Then, the Friday night a week before the wedding, emailed me with 10 questions and an invoice for my final bill. It was completely overwhelming.   • We had a great experience with having our wedding at Northville Hills. Mandy was fantastic to work with in helping us with all the details for the day and coordinating all our vendors to get set up. We didn't have to worry about a thing as she made sure everything including the decorations were set up exactly the way we wanted them to! During the reception the staff was fantastic and we received a lot of compliments as to how great they were as well as how great the food was. The staff was very attentive and really looked to be enjoying themselves!

  • they take forever to respond to emails and phonecalls are always out of the office. also I did not appreciate them booking a shower one and a half hours before my wedding. they pulled it off but did forget about a few of minor details i had asked for. I was most upset the day of my wedding when they served my mother mushrooms (she is highly allergic) and then scraped them off and served her the food again.. MY sister marched back into kitchen and explained to them directly what the word allergy means.

    When we do schedule multiple events in one day we always schedule at least 1.5 hours between events to allow time for our staff to clean the room and reset it for the next event. This time frame is always part of the contract that each host of an event signs. For this event the contract was signed for the ceremony to start at 5:30pm. The bride later decided to change the ceremony time to 5:00pm and we were not informed until her invitations were already sent out. At that point we already had another event scheduled. We still had 1.5 hours between events and the ceremony location and reception location were both set up entirely before any of the guests arrived. We take food allergies as well as any special requests with food very serious. The mother of the bride did send her plate back to the kitchen and our Chef prepared an entirely new plate for her. We would never simply scrape off the mushrooms and send out the same plate. Our Banquet Director spoke with the bride on multiple occasions during the wedding to check and see how everything was going and received nothing but positive comments from her, which makes this review very disheartening to read.

  • I was very pleased with Northville Hills. I had my reception here and they took care of everything. They set it all up and I had so many compliments on the room, the service, the bar, the food...everything! They won me over when I first met with them and knew that it would be a part of my wedding day. They were very helpful as far as ideas, suggestions, and recommendations for other vendors. My only complaint was that there was a change of owner/staff while I was planning and some drama on whether or not they would be renovating beforehand...I had a few issues getting hold of someone during that time, but they more than made up for it and made sure I didn't worry for long!
