  • Jack did an incredible job on our wedding. He was great to work with and very helpful as we prepared for the wedding, and was lots of fun during the wedding itself. He had all our friends and family dancing all night long, even the ones who "don't dance"! He was there on time and ready prior to the start of the ceremony and didn't miss a beat from start to finish. Very professional, and a lot of fun!

  • Music Now DJ's was the BEST choice. We looked at DJ's ranging from the Silicon Valley to the Monterey Peninsula. Jack Crawford and his team provided the most personalized servicing for a truly great value. Jack was also the DJ for our event and as the bride, I knew I could completely relax with Jack "behind the wheel". If other brides are reading this, you'll understand the priceless value of being able to truly relax! Jack was so great to work with, very responsive, and truly made it his life's mission to ensure our music selection and MC schedule was perfect. The photo booth was also a hit. Thank you so much!

  • We appreciate everything Jack did to help make our day so wonderful! It was so awesome being able to combine contracts into one and not have to stress about multiple and different deposits etc. and of course he was truly an amazing officiant for us it was like he knew us our entire life. Thanks again Jack!

  • Jack and his team know exactly what to do and how to help you. They make the whole process so easy and you just show up and enjoy your day. They know how to read the crowd and keep everything flowing so perfectly. Everyone had such a great time and danced the night away. We also had the photo booth which was a big hit. We loved looking at all the photos of our family and friends having so much fun.

  • Jack was perfect! He played the right kind of music to keep everyone out on the dance floor, and enough slow songs to keep my husband dancing. I found him at a bridal show along with several other DJ services. I talk to 3 others before I came across him. He and his partner were so easy to talk to, I stopped looking for anyone else. Better then that, his rates were almost 1/2 of the other hacks I spoke with. He kept everything moving, light, and easy. I will definitely hire him again if the need should rise.

  • Overall great DJ! We had to plan the wedding from another state which made it really difficult; however, Jack was extremely flexible with us and worked with us the whole way! Not knowing what to do or anything about wedding DJs he helped me understand and plan. Some things changed the day of the event and he worked with us. Overall, awesome! Thank you!!

  • We met Jack Crawford with Music Now DJ's at our venue, during a tasting/vendor event. My wife and I met with a few DJ's prior to meeting Jack. The DJ's we met with, came off as being a bit too loud, cheesy and were more interested in what they had to offer rather than listen to what my wife and I were looking for. Then we met Jack with Music Now DJ's. We spoke with Jack for about 30 minutes, but within the first 5 minutes, my wife and I both knew we found our DJ. Jack asked what we were looking for in a DJ, what we didn't want, and then listened to us answer. He got a feel for us, our guests, the type of music we wanted and then he told us how Music Now DJ's could meet/exceed our needs. He was never pushy or cheesy and the 3 of us got a long great. We specifically booked Jack to be our DJ/MC for 6 hours and the attended photo booth option for 4 hours.   • While we had heard great things about Music Now, we were disappointed by their services. We used Andre as a our DJ and I would not advise using him or Music Now at your wedding. Here are the experiences we had that you should be aware of if you are considering using them: 1) ORGANIZATION: They were very organized in gathering the timeline/information for our wedding and were timely in their e-mail responses. However, on wedding day, we were extremely disappointed in the series of events that occurred. During the reception, the DJ announced that he was going to play a song for the Mother-Son dance. After 3 minutes of silence, he played a different song. While the owner said the song was not working and we understand this happens, Andre did not take the initiative to smooth over the situation and quickly play something else. 2) MUSIC/TRANSITIONS: While most of the songs played stayed within our requests and Andre did a great job keeping the dance floor full, we noticed that there wer...     After talking to the DJ, the wedding coordinator and the catering staff, we were a bit shocked by the many responses we had. Regarding the brides feedback about just giving excuses. That's not the case. As the owner of Music Now, I have to hear from all involved. For example. The Mother Son dance. The MP3 song that was suppose to play wouldn't play, even though it played fine when we checked it as we do with any downloaded song we get. So the silence was due to DJ Andre explaining the song won't play, and can he suggest another song. It's very rare, but when something like this happens, all eyes and ears are on the DJ so it's a very uncomfortable situation. The powers that be couldn't come up with a song right away, so Andre suggested a song and they agreed with the song. It was played as soon as he punched it in. When there's an issue like that, time seems to go on forever. It's very nerve racking. So we can understand the clients point of view. As far as transitions of songs, we don't beat mix music, but we do segue between most if not all songs. During dinner and the cocktail time, we play background music where many songs will end and then the next song begins right after. Our DJ software will automatically segue songs on it's own, even if the DJ doesn't manually do it. Regarding the clients statement all we did was make excuses, that's not really what I was doing. I had to explain the correct reason for situations that came up, which I will do when they don't have the right information. We were very apologetic, plus we decided not to charge for the overtime. The clients were the point of contact, so they were the ones we had to talk to about the overtime. There's never a perfect moment to discuss this as the client will be unindated with conversations with family and their guests. But really, after all is said and done, obviously our client wasn't happy. We take this very seriously and will use it to better ourselves for future events.
